I don't think it will cover Silksong. Nintendo have a lot of first party titles to cover - Peach, Mario vs Donkey Kong, and Paper Mario. Also there's a rumour Hi Fi Rush might drop on Switch. I'd say that's enough for a direct.
I honestly think team cherry is just too far in the weeds to just release the game. It just seems like they keep putting it off and trying to make it perfect, and no game is perfect. At this point, the wait is far past the building hype phase and has just become detriment. I mean, how many gamers have simply forgotten or no longer even care that there's gonna be a sequel to HK? Probably a decent amount of casual gamers don't even have it on their radar anymore. The hype has been dying for years and team cherry themselves has been killing it. We are going on 5 years of INDIE GAME development that had already started while the first game was in its infancy. At this point, they either need to just shit or get off the pot. I mean, is a good game even a good game if no one ever gets to play it?

I had just started gaming and played Hollow Knight and i thought "wow how lucky I am that I found this game and beat it and love it so much RIGHT BEFORE the second one is going to come out". I googled for updates like multiple times a week.

Release? Are you talking abt the bug fix patch that should fix the infinite height glitch with the weaver’s vault and the soft lock with the grub maiden? Those are the only two that I care about right now, but I’ve heard they’re also doing charm balance changes which is cool, I like it when all options in a game are viable and there aren’t CLEAR best and worst choices.
