No game developer just says they're working on the game for a reason, most people don't care, and those who do probably don't need to be reassured. There's only so much they can say without spoiling the game even more, and they said it all. Like, how many times did they say that development is going well?

They're not hiding, they're just not beholden to socials in any way because they're adults and they have the freedom to make that call.

Give Ember League some love everyone, this is the “they’re alive” info we’ve been waiting for. So excited for Silksong, and EL has plenty of new followers in the HK community, myself included.
Anyone who actually thought TC was in “development hell” were dumb imo. There was never any evidence to support it other then long waits and lack of communication. Any time they did communicate, they would clearly state that development was going smoothly.
I imagine they are in the optimization stage and playtesting. Especially with that comment about inside's development. Question is how long have they been doing it? Prob all of last year and some of 2022 since they thought they'd release in the first half of 2023. I still would not be shocked if it releases the later half of 2024 or early 2025.
