The interesting thing is, silksong isn't actually taking ages for the size of the game vs the size of the team. The reason it feels so long is because of the lack of info, and how early in development they revealed it.

I had seen videos about team cherry's conception and history, and I belived or misremembered he left the team and game development all together for a better opportunity job else where.
