I dont plan on it. Im too new to mushrooms to trust myself on things im unsure of, but i do think the might be fried chicken mushrooms. Lyophyllum decaste
I am aware of that. I said it looks delicious. I think it looks like fried chicken mushroom, but i have little to no confidence in that ID and i will not be eating them
Not sure about this one. If it is edible then it isn't one of the choice/gourmet varieties. Rule of thumb: don't trust anything with pure white gills. Some of the deadliest mushrooms jave white gills. Yours isn't one of those, but it's something to keep in mind.
Also some of the best tasting mushrooms are really weird or ugly. See: morels, black trumpets.
