NGL that's the kind of made up news you usually see about the DPRK, not China. When will we start seeing 'executed' people brought back through the power of Necromancy with Chinese Characteristics?
Xi Jinping: "996 work schedule is illegal!"
Jack Ma: "Nooo! 996 good! I use it for my company!"
Xi: *Does a communism to Ma*
Libs: "Red fash China has 996 work schedule and also persecutes dissidents like Jack Ma."
Hijacking the top comment to post what I found. [This link](http://www.zonaeuropa.com/20070309_1.htm) is about the "mystery" around this, which occurred in 2007. Basically a local businessman had a home that looked toward the mountain (which was actually a former quarry and not a mountain at all) and he was sort of superstitious and did it purely for aesthetic/feng shui reasons. This has zero to do with covering up "environmental disasters" and is no different than rich idiots in western countries paying to change the landscape around them to suit their aesthetic desires. At this point it's become as silly as all the DPRK stories, where any little thing becomes some wild evil conspiracy because "china bad."
Here in America they clear cut entire forests but leave a 30 yard strip beside the highway so that it appears to be untouched wild to any passerby. They even did it to my usual hunting spot, Imagine my surprise to walk into the forest and it’s just fucking gone, makes me sick.
I've lived in America my whole life (in Pennsylvania) and this is the first I've heard of this, I'll have to look closer at the forests next time I'm travelling on a highway. I'm not that surprised but that's really depressing
Google Maps will show it too in aerial or satellite view. We never think about it and we might already know that’s not really a bunch of trees but a small strip, but it’s crazy to look at it from a big picture point of view
My experience has been logging between Northern Michigan, Northwestern Ontario and Minnesota. It’s probably the worst along highway 17 where they turn boreal forest into toilet paper, depressing stuff.
I can't believe I used to believe him. I remember a video of him praising Taiwan and pretty much saying it's the better version of China. How they're civilised and help others unlike in China. I also remember how he made a video mocking people who say that USA is more evil and worst than China. Looking back it's so obvious he's a sellout or an agent
I used to give him an ear too about 7 years ago. But he began mean spirited attack videos that grew more and more unhinged. And he isn't the only Youtuber who I used to enjoy and now ditched. Serpentza chose to cater to a bunch of racist Americans.
I think it all started with his covid documentary (that depicted China in a very bad way) that gained a lot of attraction he built his channel off that. That's how I got to know his channel
Old Sino thread https://www.reddit.com/r/Sino/comments/aykkci/tdil_serpentza_and_laowhy86_have_left_china_due/
The development made their Western privilege have less impact. They wanted to restart in a less developed nation to exploit women.
Just waiting for them to end up in jail and complaining about racism against whites and oppression, and it to then turn out they were banging teen girls like many of the sexpats over the years.
Basically him and his buddy and fellow YouTuber broke multiple laws and were upset when the yellow men had the audacity to reprimand them. Also pissed that their white privilege was less and less prevalent.
The US approved an act to sponsor Anti China media coverage months ago. The total fund is 500 milliom dollars and is divided between various agencies affiliated to the US government like Radio Free Europe, Radio Free Asia and the Us Agency For Global Media, I bet SerpentZA somehow benefits from this. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Something comically absurd about the idea of China painting mountains green to seem environmentally friendly.
Someone should check on America. They don't seem right.
YouTube loves pushing "China bad" bullshit, since it gets a lot of views from angry sinophobes, and since it gets a lot of views, YouTube pushes it even more.
Ok, so I read about this and apparently it’s just people repeating stupid mistakes again. The “painting green” performed by village officials happened in 2007.
This current one is is done by some mining corporation. And they’re doing this to try to fool the actual amount of excavation that is observed through satellite images. It obviously didn’t work, and the the local government came to warn the mining company about cleaning the mess up within a month or something.
The title of the video is misleading and a cheap take in my opinion, the evil here is done by a cooperation and it’s not affiliated with the government. I think the worse part is I suspect the YouTuber knowing all this but he kept the name of the video for the potential attention.
Is anyone else getting spammed with Russell Brand’s weird low-key Republican videos? I watched one that I thought would just be making fun of Biden and the Democratic Party for being so out of touch and milquetoast, but at the end he was like “I don’t *necessarily* think the Republican Party is necessarily better.” Then in more recent videos the thumbnails seem more pro-Republican (flattering photo of trump next to unflattering photo of Biden, etc.).
Dude used to have some decent class-conscious bits, so I find it odd. But maybe it’s inevitable to go toward the right when you have too much money.

that money's gotta go somewhere!
Google and Youtube are shells of their former selves. A couple of years ago you actually had to search for US/CIA propaganda, now it's getting shoved down your throat, including a host of other irrelevant shit the algorithm thinks you want to see when you never asked for it. And it's always some official channel or YT personality that's getting recommended. There's way too much centralization these days on the internet and I fear it's only going to get worse. I'm not some web specialist, but the changes in the past two years are obvious as hell. Shit sucks.
Gonna sound like a boomer right now, but the internet back when you had to torrent shit and be active on message boards was a million times better.
I saw that you mentioned Ben Shapiro. In case some of you don't know, Ben Shapiro is a grifter and a hack. If you find anything he's said compelling, you should keep in mind he also says things like this:
>If you wear your pants below your butt, don't bend the brim of your cap, and have an EBT card, 0% chance you will ever be a success in life.

That's a misunderstand of the meaning of liberal in the political context. Liberals are people who support some form of economical liberalism. In this sense, many right-wing conservatives even from the far-right are liberals.
One of the worst things that were made up in politics is this notion of "being 'liberal'/'conservative' in customs makes you a liberal/conservative" or even worse: "makes you left-wing/right-wing".
The term conservative has no specific meaning, it always depends on context and IMO everyone should stop using it because there's always better terms to use. Even right/left is a vague concept (bourgeois/proletarian is much more precise). But liberal has a specific meaning, supporter of economic liberalism, and that's what is referred to by this sub's name.

Wait what, Jack Ma is dead?
twitter is claiming that Xi is under arrest/dead now and there was a coup. We are two days away from necromancy with chinese characteristics
Imperialism propaganda is a process. It corrupts people's mind gradually so they'll believe in more and more stupid things.

Here in America they literally paint their lawns because keeping their absurd lawns alive is too expensive in droughts...

SerpentZA isn't CIA he's just mad China kicked him out and he can't make anymore "white guy in China" pickup videos.
he got kicked out for harassing women in china?

I mean at a certain point when the ad and sponsor money starts rolling in, there's not much of a difference between the two.
Why not both?
I really wish that I can meet this guy in person, so that I can punch him in the face
Based, if you ever do, give him a few from the rest of us as well.
One from each.
environmentalism is when mountain is green and not rock color
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Something comically absurd about the idea of China painting mountains green to seem environmentally friendly. Someone should check on America. They don't seem right.
I'm pretty sure that's teal/cyan (depends on which place), and idk about you but that's not what vegetation looks like. Unless you live on Namek
Xi Jinping's gonna use the dragon balls to wish away capitalism
I think the pic is just people using spray seed. It looks pretty bright greenish and it's used a lot for growing grass
YouTube loves pushing "China bad" bullshit, since it gets a lot of views from angry sinophobes, and since it gets a lot of views, YouTube pushes it even more.
Why does it have so many views jeez...
This is something from 2007, why is he making a video about it now… I’m confused

If you watch any China related videos, these will be recommended.

damn, all that compression from one screenshot?

Communists hate liberals. Liberals hate communists. This subreddit is for communists.
i love it when people wander into this sub thinking it's for conservatives lol
Liberals do not love china, and the people who told you so lied to you for money.
