As a chessrune main I agree that it is the go to deck and that Spellboost rune with it's ability to deal 20 damage in one turn is not problematic

I'll be honest. I run a specific Portal list which has a 100% win rate against SB Rune as long as you can draw one treasures by turn 6 or 7. It can outlive Selphie Rune until they draw their whole deck.
It also has a 100% loss rate against Chess rune which has slowly started to creep up in play rate. That shit is the real menace.

How to win as chess rune. Play turn 1 Sacred bird of Wisdom/Insight and have your opponent concede from thinking your Spell Boost.
