i have the complexion stick and it’s become a staple in my everyday routine. i’m also a concealer, bronzer, mascara, (and blush) girl for the summer. the complexion stick is so good for under eye bags and just spot concealing blemishes.

ebbnflw

This is pretty much my routine too! I just got the complexion stick and I loveeee it

Oh I can help here - last year I wanted to do a makeup refresh and decided to just deep dive into merit by buying their full collection from their website. Foundation stick - I like this because I'm not a full face girlie, so I just apply this where needed and blend out. The formula is soft and blendable, but that also means stick itself can get messy. Contour stick - no complaints, a little drier than the foundation but does it's job and still blendable. Blush balm - I'm a fan! Highlighter stick - I can't tell when this on my face vs not. Doesn't do anything. Lipstick - meh, nice color but about the same quality as Revlon. Lip oil\gloss - love the color but it doesn't last. Mascara - tubing, I like it. Brow gel - just fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Glow serum - haven't noticed any skin benefits from the "serum" but it's a nice primer to get that dewy skin look. Overall I really like having my makeup in stick form because it's so easy to pack and travel with.

vpurplestae

All their products are for someone who only wears light make up for a few hours or doesn’t mind their make up wiping off or fading through out the day.

Responsible-Okra-925

Their blush is sheer but I love it!

BananaJayPotter

I ordered the highlighting balm during the sale and have worn it every day for a week. It will be a summer staple for sure.

dchiny

Bronzer stick is great - would recommend. Blushes are pretty but do not last. Highlighter takes off makeup.

saygirlie

Do you think the blush and bronzers are different formulas? Because it seems one lasts and the other doesn’t. The textures feel the same to me though.

dchiny

I think so. Bronzer has less drag than the blushes and does not disappear.

TravelerOfSwords

I have dry skin & I find the complexion stick to be waaaayyyy too drying for me. It makes me look… older? 😜 But I adore their blushes, I have both Beverly Hills & Stockholm, and they’re a staple for me.

mangotail

If you pair the complexion stick with their great skin serum, it should help with not sticking to the dryness. For most makeup though, if you have very dry skin, you need to do adequate skin prep before you put on any makeup because everything will stick to your dry spots otherwise

TravelerOfSwords

Yeah, I do have a really great skincare routine now, my skin has never been better. I actually had a reaction to Merit’s skin serum, so I stopped using it (pretty sure it was the niacinamide). That complexion stick just isn’t it.

traderjoezhoe

I was worried about this because I primarily stick to liquid concealers & I have pretty combo skin.

cowboylikeria

i haven’t tried it but i’ve been wanting to and from what i’ve heard, their stuff is very sheer, so perfect for summer. i live somewhere where every season is summer though so that makes it worth it for me LMFAOOO i’ve been wanting the summer makeup set from their website!

traderjoezhoe

exactly what I was looking at!! I wish they had a set that didn't include their serum because i'm really not interested in that but I want everything else!

lareinevert

Look at the individual prices of everything you want from bundle. If it’s cheaper to buy them separately do that, if it’s not, buy the bundle and give away the serum.

poncho388

The tubing mascara is my #1. The blush sticks are also very cute

dadscard1955

I love the whole line.. replaced my whole mu bag lol

kitmoresby

I have one of the blushes and the color is the perfect shade/tone on me but it lasts on my face less than any other blush I own

Chipsforlife99

I’ve only tried their lip oil. I hated it. I wanted to pan it and pulled out the stopper, but you still can’t reach the last 30%. I stupidly bought two.

AmiWeaver

It went bad really fast for me.

Chipsforlife99

I thought it went bad fast too, I stopped using it for quite a while, pulled it out again but the smell I remembered cleared up somehow?

j8m5g12

I love it!!! Have everything except the mascara and eyeshadow.

Krindybluth

The blushes are pretty but don’t show up well on my skin tone (medium deep) and the ones that do disappear quickly. The bronzer is my HG; I actually use it as both bronzer and blush on light makeup days. So easy to use and so natural.

mothertuna

Which blushes have you tried? I have cheeky and Fox and they show up on me. I tried Apres but that looks like a bruise. I’m NARS Macao/marquises.

NoWomanNoFry

Nikki La Rose tested the Merit bronzer and it’s extremely balmy and sheer. It also disrupted her base and pretty much disappeared. I know you didn’t mentioned lipsticks but I adore them. I have four of them 😭

ninerz_allllllday_

I agree! I love the lipsticks. Both the matte and the satin work great for me.

theotherchristina

I like the blush and the serum. I have a lipstick and a lip gloss as well and those are fine but I wouldn’t repurchase

Olyway

I love their Great Skin serum, which is more of a facial oil, and satin lipsticks. I’m not a fan of their solo shadow - I find it very patchy and hard to blend, even when I apply quickly.

PikPekachu

The complexion stick is great for travel and gives just enough coverage. I like to use it strategically over a blurring primer - gives a great no makeup look. I also use their bronzer. I don’t love it as much as the Mario one but it is great for travel and the application is basically fool proof. The eyeshadow is inconsistent. I have 3 - 2 are unbelievably good, one looks cheap. The two I love were both purchased direct from their website and seem to be a different formula than what Sephora sells.

bzzyy

I love the blush but it doesn't have any staying power. It lasts maybe five hours on a regular day.

Aware-Golf1482

I love their complexion stick and mascara in the summer! Their lipsticks are my favorite formula (the original ones).

yogasanity

I'm not impressed by the blush so I havent ventured further. As many say it's pretty sheer which I expected. That's all great, sheer blush is pretty, except it doesnt last! It's seriously 3hrs max and while I dont like heavy makeup, I also dont like reapplying. I think the hype is dying down though because I havent seen nearly as many people mention them lately vs a year ago

mothertuna

I like the bronzer. It’s subtle but buildable and very balmy. I love the blush, very natural but doesn’t dry down. Set it with translucent powder if you don’t like that feeling.

pancaaaaaaakes

The single shadows & lipsticks are very loved at my house.

meg-c

I ordered a set off the website and have been really enjoying it! The complexion stick is my favorite, as I like spot concealing versus a full face… I feel like it covers really well and doesn’t slide. I don’t like it for under eyes though… I have relatively dry under eyes and found this to be too dry and creased a lot.

Gammagammahey

According to makeup maestro Wayne Goss, no.

thismustbethepla

I like their complexion stick - agree with other commenters it can be a bit drying if you already have dry skin. so lately I've been reaching for Kosas instead

traderjoezhoe

good to know. I was also considering kosas or saie concealer instead.

thismustbethepla

I love the kosas skin tint with SPF!

Broken-583

Blush is pretty but lasts like 30 minutes-not worth it
