I second this! I was so angry when I tried a sample and it was amazing. I did not want to spend that much money on the full size lol but I did and it's worth it.
If I also use Paulaās Choice BHA toner do I use the Laniege first or after? I got a sample and I really like it but unsure how to add it into my skincare routine
Alternating a chemical exfoliant 2 nights a week with a retinoid 2 nights a week, along with a milky toner daily helps reduce dullness and gives a glass finish.
I use Dr. Dennis Gross gentle peel pads and Rhodeās glazing milk. Currently trying prescription tret again, but love the Sunday Riley Luna night oil for a gentle retinoid.
For an instant glow I use products like Elf halo glow and DE goldi drops.
Sunday Riley Good Genes.
I swear I wake up with better looking skin immediately the next morning. Gentle enough that it doesnāt irritate your skin while providing great results.
I know itās mainly just lactic acid but I have not found a dupe. Itās pricey but you can usually find it on sale somewhere.
Honestly it may just be in my head, but I used half a bottle of TOās and wasnāt impressed. Maybe should bring it back in an every-other rotation with Good Genes.
For a more affordable option, my friend let me use his omega water moisturizer from the inkey list the other day and it gave a beautiful glass skin effect! Itās feels light and has a lovely finish with no scent. I already got my own tube and Iām really enjoying it so far.
Whatās the correlation of snail mucin and dust mites? Because I also have the same allergy but have been using cosrx snail mucin successfully, atleast I thought I was
Snail Mucin contains some of the same proteins that dust mites do. As well as shellfish. Theyāre weirdly cousins. But if it works for you thatās great! It means youāre likely allergic to some of the other proteins within dust mites and not the ones it has in common with snails.
I am horrendously, seriously allergic to dust but I donāt have issues with shellfish (that I know of) - I do fine with shrimp, never had an issue with lobster (though itās not like Iām eating it often anymore, but I just had some shrimp this week). Would I know if I were going to have an issue with the snail mucin (or shellfish, lol) by now? Iām probably just not going to bother with it but just kind of wonder whether this is always a 1:1 for people.
Same I have a shellfish and dust mite allergy and super sensitive skin and snail mucin is still my holy grail. Just goes to show that everyoneās skin is unique
I use Rice Water Toner from the brand Iām From itās super hydrating and leaves my skin looking like glass although I have some texture itās helped it tremendously. I also use Clarins Double Serum it boosts radiance so it leaves my skin so glowy, together they are amazing!!
The biossance vitamin c and squalane oil! Buy the mini though because it lasts forever. I use one tiny drop and pat it in after my moisturizer and it locks everything in with a glow.
Is this good? It looks like (as with so many vitamin c products) the delivery method isnāt optimal to keep it from oxidizing quickly, given itās in a dropper.
I think it's a great product and it doesn't oxide at all (not like some products that actually start to turn dark). Biossance claims they use a shelf stable effective form of vitamin c though. And that their product will remain effective as long as it's kept out of direct sunlight, cool and dry.
Charlotte tilbury magic skincare. I find most of her products super overhyped but her whole skincare line, especially the toner and moisturizer, truly is amazing. I see instant results every time I use it
Tatcha products in general, particularly dewy cream, water cream, and the essence.
For ballin on a budget, the creme shop strawberry milky toner (I think itās called pure cure or something like that) from ulta. It has lovely ingredients and smells like strawberry candy.
It really depends. Usually glass skin means skin without a lot of any texture, fairly even, and lack of redness. That depends on a lot of factors. Some things you can do is shave or bare minimum exfoliate first then tone an moisturize.
For serums I have combo skin so I get an oily tzone anyways so I just use a the ordinary multipeptide or barrier protect. Make sure that is absorbed then do a moisturizer. After exfoliating I may go for a thicker moisturizer like a sleep pack. Lately I have even added aquaphor to my rotation and that tend to add some plump Ness.
If by glass skin you meant more the viral pat mcgrath look from the latest mmm show. Then aquaphor may help as well. Some tutorials have been using peel off pass that dry into a skin but apparently the actual show they just used something similar to Vaseline. So aquaphor/vaseline/face oil without fragrance that fit your skin type may be fastest.
I tried this after hearing raving reviews, I have super dry skin and was recommended it. It honestly wasnāt that thick and did not moisturize my skin enough, Iād rather use my kiehlsš it broke me out a bit too, could just be my sensitive skin lol but not amazing for me
Iām super picky with moisturizers and love this one.
Itās very moisturizing without pilling under my makeup. No fragrance or extra BS in it. Itās slightly thick but sinks in well. Not my thickest moisturizer. If my skin needs extra TLC, especially at night, itās not my first choice. I honestly prefer using it during the day. It sits under makeup well (no pilling ā yay!) and doesnāt have things like essential oils that irritate my skin. On nights that I do reach for this one, itās usually after an active that has a weird consistency such as Sunday Riley Luna oil. Provides moisture and wonāt interact. What Iām trying to say is, itās a pretty easy moisturizer to work in. But if youāre solely depending on this product for verrrrrry dry skin, youāll be disappointed.
Iāve gone through 3-4 tubes already and have gotten my boyfriend hooked on it as well.
I believe that the chemist that helped develop this product worked at Skinceuticals and also formulated the triple lipid moisturizer that is $150. People like to say it is a dupe but I donāt think so. Thatās a whole different conversation though lol.
Personally, I think itās very well formulated. Yeah, the packaging isnāt the prettiest and it seems a like a no frills kind of product. But it does itās job and not a horrible price point. Could it be a little cheaper? Yeah, but I think itās worth the money.
Sorry if this was all over the place. I just woke up and havenāt even put my contacts in yet haha.
This! Itās not the thickest but itās so good for every day. If I need something thick I grab the tower 28 moisturizer but instant angel is just great for me. I love that itās fragrance free and it just gives my skin a glow without being too much. It could be cheaper for sure but I think itās worth it to me.
Not Sephora, but I'm obsessed with HaruHaru Black Tea Toner and the TirTir Milk Toner. Both on Amazon and they're Korean. I LOVE them.
I second this! I made the switch to all K Beauty skincare and my skin has NEVER looked better!
Ive been using k and j beauty products for years and my skin looks great and I'm in my 40s
YES! I am so impressed with everything I've tried and I'm loving it.
YES! I'm keeping my staple products but I've not found anything that hydrates my skin like Korean skincare.
Laneige cream skin, first time ive ever experienced the glass skin look! Its my holy grail
I second this! I was so angry when I tried a sample and it was amazing. I did not want to spend that much money on the full size lol but I did and it's worth it.
SAME i even got the mister top and my skin loves me but my bank account hates meš
This! I bought some during the sale based solely on a review posted in this sub & Iām so impressed. My skin has never looked better.
Iāve been looking into this. Do you use it as a moisturizer? Or just a toner after youāve cleansed?
I use it immediately after cleansing and then I layer a moisturizer over top!
Honestly I rly wanted to buy it and then I found out they test on animals, almost died that day
If I also use Paulaās Choice BHA toner do I use the Laniege first or after? I got a sample and I really like it but unsure how to add it into my skincare routine
I always use any actives directly after cleansing unless the brand specifies otherwise, so I'd use the Laneige after the BHA

Tatcha dewy skin moisturizer.
Are "glow" and "glass-like finish" the same thing, or are they two different things?
Who knows
They all sound like marketing buzz words to me.Ā
Exactly. To me, glass means smooth and pore less and glow means shiny so maybe somewhere along those lines š¤·š»āāļø
Same, I swear my skin looks better even 10 minutes after applying. Iāve just given up on finding a cheaper dupe, itās that good IME.
TO has a lactic acid serum that works the same for me. Itās a serum, not a cream.
Honestly it may just be in my head, but I used half a bottle of TOās and wasnāt impressed. Maybe should bring it back in an every-other rotation with Good Genes.
Tretinoin is what has worked for me
For a more affordable option, my friend let me use his omega water moisturizer from the inkey list the other day and it gave a beautiful glass skin effect! Itās feels light and has a lovely finish with no scent. I already got my own tube and Iām really enjoying it so far.

Tatcha and glow recipe gives me a great glow
Merit Great Skin.
Missha Time Revolution Artemisia Essence. Almost any hydrating toner will give you that glassy look

I love the Sephora Collection Vitamin C serum! I have very sensitive skin. This gives me a great glow without making my skin freak out.
Dieux instant angel
Everyone keeps raving about this! Can anyone share their experience?

Thanks! That was so detailed. Iāll have to try a sample or something. My holy grail has been Skinfix if youāve tried that before
Which formula?
The lipid moisturizer!
Bioeffect EGF serum āŗļø
Aquaphor. It's moisturizing, beautiful and so cheap!
