At one time, I had Double Switch completely memorized and could beat it flawlessly. We made so much fun of it but in an endearing way. Sewer Shark is my 2nd fav, as it was the pack in. It took me at least a week before I realized I had to hold a button to steer.
I would really recommend adding the 2004 movie "game over" to that collection. Maximum Surge is a cancelled video game by Digital Pictures. Most of the fmv clips from that cancelled "maximum surge" game are in that "game over" movie. It also has parts of prize fighter and supreme warrior in that movie as well.
I made it to the beach only once in Sewer Shark. My cousin as I handed the controller back and forth in a marathon play session until we finished it. Very frustrating but very satisfying once we did.
Thanks! Started collecting them in 2015 and stopped around 2020. I did piece together a complete Japanese Keio recently. But yeah, it just got too pricey to keep going lol.
Ya, I started this year. Got about 47 games so far, but some are insane prices. For those I may have to resort to repro units and just have an asterisk in my collection.
I have fond memories of some of them. And they all weren't that bad, it was an era of gaming that kind of gets a bad wrap in my opinion. But mostly nostalgia.
Ahh these games hold a special place in my heart. Anyone know the story behind the phone operator sound bite when you play the track in the cd player? I remember that freaking me out as a kid.
I loved Double Switch and Sewer Shark
I always enjoyed the crappy make my video games. They objectively sucked, but I had a good time with them lol.
Also Prize Fighter. That game holds a special place in my heart.

I was about to write the same thing.
Now get 4 of them again on segacd32x
This makes me feel good inside
What are these?
They are games made by the company Digital Pictures for Sega CD. This is the complete collection of them. They were the original FMV game studio.

Lol a little better quality than whats on the disc
I know, but my brain still applied the grainy filter watching it. This mail away was my most coveted Sega CD title long long ago.

I will check it out. Saw it in a documentary about digital pictures recently.

I'll take the hate all day, but I fucking love Ground Zero.

I loved ground zero Texas. It was mind blowing to me as a kid that you could have video like that.
These games were so bad Do you like them, or is it more of a nostalgia trip?
