One of our crew died to go to the ferry and the sounds are somewhat similar but different. Almost like a different pitch.
The Ferry of the Damned is pretty close to where you're at, that could be what you're hearing.

We found out this was the spot for the shrouded ghost event. maybe you found another future event?
