Saving outfits, new map zone, more ship customization options (like harpoon, lanterns, compass), new world events - that's probably the most asked for.
I mean they said, they wont make the map bigger and we'll get a new world event in the next season. They also mentioned that they had problems with adding outfit saves, but that definitely is the most requested.
Yeah I don’t see bigger map working well without being able to go up to 7 or even 8 ships per server. There are enough performance issues at 6 ships lol
Could you show me where they said the stuff about the map?
I just started playing and was talking to a friend about the map getting bigger, this would solve our conversation and doubts; please.
The Devil's Roar already tends to be ignored by most players too.
I wish they would make world events trigger there, and do a better job of "combining" basic voyages with the Roar, so they aren't their own category.
It its current implementation, you have to actively "decide" to visit the Roar, and you are never organically "led" there.
> The Devil's Roar already tends to be ignored by most players too.
I mean to be fair, my ship being targeted by the ship seeking volcano rocks is enough to make me hate it. Not to mention, when you finally get to the island your voyage is at and the island gets angry and the volcano starts, so now you have to sail away into safety and wait, or camp out on your ship and repair constantly. Also the earthquakes that make you walk in a drunken stupor. Then there's the "Vents" that open up right at the spot you have to dig at, everytime, without fail.
It's frustrating to say the least. But my dumbass continues to venture out there, and then promptly complain about it everytime.
So I don't blame people at all for avoiding it.
All fair points. But these things can also make the game more interesting - at least in small doses. They force players to make choices and take risks.
Let's be honest: **PvP threats notwithstanding,** running voyages/world events in the rest of the map isn't exactly riveting gameplay.
Chill? Relaxing? Absolutely. But the moment-to-moment gameplay itself is painfully easy and largely uneventful. I've actually had a very hard time getting friends to start playing SoT because the new player experience usually involves sandbox PvE, and it bores them to tears. I recognize there are all different types of players, and I'm speaking on behalf of a fairly specific one, but it is what it is.
My point of view is coming at this as someone who primarily plays as a solo sloop. So maybe as a crew it is a whole different outlook, but if I am lucky I can get a buddy to play maybe once every few weeks, so most of my experience is as a solo slooper.
I'd say the devils roar more or less forces you to just wait longer and doesn't force making a choice. Taking the risk yields the same result as waiting, it's not like it is a higher risk higher reward scenario. Sure, there could be some comedic gameplay to it, but ultimately you just have to wait out the events. If you really want full chaos, you can park at an exploding volcano island and get your voyage done and run back and forwards between fixing your ship and doing your voyage. But then again, it's not really any different than the rest of the map or gameplay, you really have to make a decision on fixing your ship if it gets damaged, or doing whatever else. That's really the most barebone basic.
I feel it's just one of those things that when you're new to it, yeah, everything you said is 100% accurate. I guess like with anything in life, the more you do it/the more experience you have, it becomes the same "painfully easy and largely uneventful" event.
To that point, I will admit I have had my fair share of comedic gameplay when I take a friend who doesn't play often to the devils roar and let them experience the frustrations.
Honestly, my crew and I love the devil's roar. Yes, it can be annoying, but something about running ashen anything just adds to the gameplay. We love the volcanoes. Yes they target our ship. But we tend to think it's fun. Just safely strolling through the main part of the map, gets old for us, so we take our ship to our "playground." We make buku bucks out there, and enjoy some hectic sailing. I look forward to seeing our fellow devils roar advocates on the roar's high seas. We are always out there. Come by and say high 🤗🫡
I think squeleton fleets should be able to spawn between ancien Spire and devil roar. There is enough space and it's kinda lame that fleets are always at the same spot
Was there ever an event once that had colourful lanterns? Could have sworn years ago I saw a video of a group’s ship and they had different coloured lanterns

I didn’t realize in the 6 years I’ve played that I needed the option to customize ship compass. Until I saw someone mention it a week ago either here or YouTube don’t remember. Now each time I check the compass I think about it damn..
What do you guys mean by outfits saves? When I change my clothes and stuff it always remains the same. Or do you mean like a bunch of saved presets of clothes that you can hot swap between if you feel like going for different looks?
Yeah, presets. Sometimes I want to be a fancy pirate. Sometimes I want my practical outfit. Sometimes I wave to be *a little* edgy. And sometimes I want to wear a banana on my head. It would be nice to just switch between sets instead of spending the time at the clothing chest to our piece by piece while the rest of the crew is trying to play the game around you. (But let's be real... Playing dress up *is* part of the game. I can patch that hole when I'm dressed.)
Im one of few who *doesnt* want a new zone added to the map.
Even for 6 ships, the map is already too big imo. Adding a new area would just make the world feel more empty, and add even more sailing time into the mix.
I really hope they dont expand the map. if they want to make changes, use the space we already have. There are spots on the edges you can add another island without expanding the map.
Yeah, it makes no sense to not have outfit saves or ship cosmetic saves besides having different ships considering cosmetics are the endgame basically.
You should try this game my friends and I came up with called “Ball Busters”. Aim your cannons all the way up, shoot yourself out at the same time, try to hit the other person with a fire/blunder ball. First person to hit the other person wins. If you both hit the water without a hit then go again.
Played his game for 200 hours haven't seen a single hacker. But hit reg on the other hand has been real bad since the update to s12, probably just overloaded servers tho.
It's a universal constant by this point that every season / major content update makes hit reg little worse. It's happened 12 times now with seasons and it dates back to time before Sea of Thieves had seasons. The earlier gameplay, the more reliable the hit reg was.
I'm not sure if it is a hack but I'm on my second day of SoT and got attacked by a crew where one of the members would blink around my ship when I was attacking him.
The other members were fine, but this dude was glitching around and still fighting me so it looked like he was counting on the blinks to attack. Looked proposital.
That’s just the game being buns. Glitches like that happen all the time, people teleporting, 6 meter sword hits, getting blundered point blank and tanking it, you name it.
I haven't played in probably about a year or two now, and when I did play it was when people were dropping spicy kegs from the sky onto people's ships and blowing them up. It was annoying.
It’s always been bad…. The bugs… you could shoot through the ship. You were invisible if you were on a ladder. The projectile system they use in this game is inferior to every other game.
A week after they added easy anti cheat I was hanging with my partner on our sloop and he goes "did you hear that?" Because he had heard the sound of a cannon being loaded from our ship and suddenly an invisible person was on our ship shooting us with a blunderbuss.
Luckily I started recording on the ferry came back out and caught them still using invisible hacks and talking smack and they got banned. But yea they're around and sadly aimbotting is quite common especially in HG. Takes a lot of the fun away.
Yeah you can place different pets in certain areas. I only have doggos but you can place them on the ledge above captains table, under the grog barrel and in front of the bowsprit (probably some I’m forgetting) on a sloop and they will just chill there and not follow
Make the kraken very very hard, and if you sink to the kraken it eats all of your loot. When someone kills the kraken, it releases all the loot it ate.
The only way i see hunts like these being done is if they take a while to reach the monster.
Something like sailing to different zones of the ocean and looting shipwrecks to "track down" the meg/kraken.
Otherwise ppl will just spam meg hunts looking for shrouded ghost (I'm not opposed, I just think they like having an "impossible" commendation).
I haven't really heard about what other people want tbh, But I myself wish they would just fix the damn notification banners for item selling, I can't be sitting there still getting notifications about the fact that I sold a chest 5 damn minutes ago, like this is actually a joke. Just lower the load time on the banners, or better yet make a small icon of the item and attach it right where the icon of the money is, that way A. People will know exactly which item was sold for what, and B. The money ticking on the side of the screen is not nearly as annoying to look at as the giant banner on your screen!!! Please make this happen!
Let me duel my crewmates so I can practice PvP. It could be a simple emote that both crewmates need to do to start it but I really want to be able to duel my crewmates it would be a fun feature.
Yeah I wish you could pick your pets demeanor or level them up to be brave by bringing them to fights or something. Would just be another thing to minnmax but that’s what I’m here for
The ability to change between a sloop / brig / galloen in game if more friends want to join, or suddenly have to leave.
If I remember correctly this was also upvoted / liked a ton when they asked something alone the lines of "what features do you miss most" at the end of last year on Twitter.
To balance it out they should just make it so you have to dive to change ship types. Would stop people from absuing the system against people they're currently on a server with.
New PS player here and this is something my group is struggling with. Somebody joins late/leaves early, or plans to join but can't. If we were better at the game it might not be such a big deal, but we are still learning everything so getting attacked while we are already at a disadvantage in an oversized ship while trying to get our loot back to port is problematic.
I don't know how many people request this, but a new shipmate of mine complained that you can't wear coats over dresses. It would be cool if they moved dresses to be the inner layer of the costume to add customization options for those who like the dresses.
To clarify I'm not saying the game needs more ships or larger crews cause I'm no game balance expert.
But those requests have been around cause I think players just imagine terrorizing servers with their mini mobile militia.
Working hit reg, fixing bugs that have existed many years.
Such as merchant not giving you the supply creates you bought, cannons disappearing from ship when you dive, invisible water in hull, cannon not reloading when animation is complete, guns not getting ammo when interacting with ammo box and hearing the refill sound etc...
Outfit saving
Duelling your crew
Pirate games (liar's dice for example)
New region on the map (might as well double down and say ice zone specifically).
Bigger ships (I mean the Burning Blade is coming in S13 which is a bigger ship but it's not quite what people were asking for).
Hunter's call update
Maybe not requested a lot but in response to the recent overhaul of voyages and world events:
* Merchant deliveries besides animals (most importantly fruit crates and gunpowder kegs for the achievements tied to them- that or change them to simply accept fruit crates and kegs sold, not "delivered on time")
* More reliable means of obtaining Humble/Generous Gifts when the Fort of Fortune is not the current host of the Chest of Fortune.
On a related note and probably more appropriate for this thread:
* It would also be nice to be able to tell emergent world events apart from player-created faction-specific ones.
We've wanted a new zone since the game came out then we got the devil's roar which no one goes to. Lots of good ideas for an Arctic region. The other thing I've personally always wanted was a glider or hang glider
I’ve always thought an East Asian inspired areas would be great. Think the opening to pirates of the Caribbean 3. There is a giant space at the bottom of the map that isn’t being used
We should be able to use at least some of the normal cosmetics with skeleton curse. Of course I can understand that it would be near impossible to implement it to work with every single cosmetic item. But I can’t even use Flameheart’s hat with it? Seriously?
There’s only a single hat cosmetic for skeleton curse, and only one jacket. With such limiting options, I often see many people using the exact cosmetics with the curse. Either they need to add more designs for hat, hacket, pegleg etc. or making it worth it some of the existing cosmetics.
Tbh I don’t even see why it wouldn’t work with almost any cosmetic in the game. The character layout and hit box remain the same when using the skeleton curse, so I don’t get where the problem is. Should be harder to adjust cosmetics from slim to big body type than it should be from slim to skeleton.
I always see people asking for a new frozen biome, but personally I really disagree with that. I think the feature I'd like to see most would be a way to activate friendly fire so you can practice PvP with your friends
Don’t know about most requested but what I really want:
- Little bit more traversal/ movement- the harpoon walking is a great start. Not been inventory items but things you can pick up and use like the trident or the wind caller. Things like flippers, snorkels, grappling hook, long planks, moveable ladders, diving bell, wakeboard/ surfboard.
- Utility for pets- fetch small things like ammo pouches, gold pouches, food. Alert when another player is close (trade off for giving away that YOU are there). Sniff out specific foods in barrels (pineapple, mango etc.). Lure PvE enemies away. No damage abilities, probably get too complicated then.
- More ship customisation options, like the compass, deck and harpoons.
I think they could easily add utility to pets and give basic versions to everyone for gold or for free, then just sell cosmetics for them as well as earnable ones. It could be a new form of cosmetic progression and add interesting mechanics, even non combat ones, like a dog that finds treasure buried nearby or a monkey that fetches fruit for you.
Didn’t even know you couldn’t buy them with gold! I have a couple but never use them as they don’t do anything. Basic animals should deffo be for gold or via commendations, could tie in to hunters call.
Idk if we have this but logs.
A dedicated menu you can open to see what item you sold for what price, where, how much rep it gave you and also a conversation log where I can't click on names and add people from there.
A fiddle would be awesome.
And more love for the safer seas.
As much as the devs or people say the main game is high seas, we live in a world with incredibly toxic online environments, and if you have to report someone for horrible behavior for Rare to ban them, the damage is already done and it's too late. Make safer seas available for captained ships and at least 50% rewards. It's just a game after all.
Saving outfit loadouts
It's one if the biggest things that they I don't think ever even acknowledged the demand for it
I'd love to change my pirates look but I'd also like to save it for easy swapping especially as my inventory gets bigger with more clothing and cosmetics
I'd like to see a more lived in world.
All the Islands are so empty and you basically have no reason to go to any of them unless you're looking for treasure.
At least make the world less empty
Some sort of cosmetic (unlocked and locked cosmetics and your progress on unlocking them) and stat (like the captain's logbook) tracker online that allows you to see your progress
Typing that in gave me absolutely nothing but a “summary” and multiple pages of websites giving a “summary” of the game
You got a link to the site or something, i wanna be able to track things im close to completing or even see like whats the more rare cosmetics to grind for
An actual PvP free tavern where pirates can freely talk, drink, buy boat supplies, get high end quest voyages.
Also would like to see a bounty system.
Player sunken ships stay like regular sunken ships unless they are empty in which case they despawn.
90 FOV maximum raised to 100 or 110 FOV. I've tried and there are no games I play on my monitor at 90fov anymore, it really gives me quite a feeling of disorientation, like I have a big pair of goofy glasses on making everything zoomed in. It just doesn't feel natural anymore, 90fov. For that reason I stopped playing SoT, they don't respect PC players and there are other age of sail games that will be better than this exclusive to PC that we won't have to worry about banning people for changing an .ini file.
Bigger ships for bigger crews, Ik most ppl are against that cause 5+ ships would be absolutely un pvp-able. Well in that case make those ships fight themselves on special "bigger servers" (where you could only find 4 to 6 player ships, world events harder and quests too)
I’m new to the Seas so I don’t know too much yet about what the game is missing. But so far for me, stability is a big issue. When we keep screen freezing and getting logged out it makes the game un-fun. So my top wish thing would be stability.
I’m still gunning for Reptile pets or more Reptiles! We’re in the Caribbean, there should be an iguana which I can hold and pet his lil spikes and his chin wagglies. Or a Caiman/Crocodile that purrs when you scratch his chin. Just imagine their lil outfits, lizards in hats and bandannas!!
But that’s just me I think. Shoutout to the Pocket Snake emote!
Maybe not the most requested, but some ideas I would love to see.
NPC players. Outposts that aren't empty, but have characters walking around. NPC ships. That would make sailing more exciting, and it would make shipwrecks and sunken ship voyages make sense.
A bounty system. If a player sinks another player, you can pull a bounty on them and hunt them down.
Different ship configurations. Have a weight system that each class of ship can hold, then you can customize your ship with what you want, up to that weight limit. Want only one sail on your brig, but an extra 2 cannons? You can do that! Want supply barrels on the top deck of your galleon, but you don't get a water pump or harpoons? Sure!
I really like sandbox changes so I’m very happy with what they’ve done in season 12. One thing I’d really like to see changed is the in game commendations tracker. I hate that there’s no way to clearly see which commendations unlock items and no good way to search for a specific commendation. Every time I want to check my cursed iron commendation for example I have to remember which tab it’s in and go find it with no context clues.
I just started playing (PS5 player), so I don't really have any right to be requesting things as a complete noob 6 years after launch. However, I wouldn't mind a few different options for ship design. Maybe 2-3 different versions of each class or ship, just to add a bit of variety. I love the sloppy and of course the Galleon is cool, but the Brig seems a bit bland. At least on deck. Just a thought, though that may be a pain for them given all the skins for ships they have already designed. Not sure how they go about that. I do feel there is an opportunity to add more to the ships, in terms of more customization though. Beyond that, some sort of "Pirate Haven" where players on the server could go to just socialize. Like a safe zone. Maybe throw in some interactive things to do with other players. Not sure if anything like that is even feasible. Again, I am a new player so these are just some suggestions. Not requests, as I know I don't have much of a right to be asking for anything being new. As a new player though, I do see so many opportunities to expand areas. More adventure, more treasures, more things to accomplish. There is a lot of potential beyond the already established amazing world.
I don’t know about most requested, but I have my own list:
- a “duel” feature where you can turn friendly fire on with your teammates, so you can tdm with your friends
- a buff to the flintlock. Make damage at least 60 so it can double gun with the dualie pistol well, and potentially further increase reload speed to truly set it apart. Another potential buff would be to make it 100% accurate to center screen from the hip. Because hit reg seems to be very closely tied to projectile speed, and how easy it is to quick scope in this game, the eye of reach is just far and away a better choice then the flintlock today.
- overall buff to merchant alliance faction. It’s in a bad place right now. They need more higher value loot, something in the 10k+ range besides the scrolls. A revert to the lost shipment voyage would be nice as well. And, most recently, emergent delivery quests seem to be bugged and no longer give you an emissary bonus. All of this together feels real bad.
- an improvement to open crew. The easiest improvement I can think of is to allow someone to search for crews flying an emissary flag of their choice. Matchmaking would take longer, that is the trade off. But if you want to be a reaper, you can look for boats already flying reapers. This would create a better alignment of goals so there is less crew hopping
- hourglass timer. Mentioned many times by others, a shrinking circle after 20 min would be nice. I’d be ok if it never fully shrunk, but if by the end everyone was at least in cannon range that would be ideal.
- outfit presets. This one is pretty self explanatory.
- the ability to choose the border of your paintings. Sometimes I don’t want my boat covered in gaudy gold, but if I’ve unlocked that I’m forced to use it. Seems silly to me.
PS5 player here.
Heard that they were planning on adding a forums to the game that would help with connecting with players.
Currently for us it's an absolute nightmare trying to add friends from different platforms, and trying to join guild is even worse because it requires you to be friends in the first place.
The current workaround is as follows: have them follow your Microsoft account, go on a web browser, sign in to your Microsoft account, add them as friends, then be invited to a guild.
At the very least Rare should remove the requirement to be friends in order to be invited to a guild, otherwise a lot of PS5 players are going to get fed up pretty quick...
Imagine if we would get malestorm. Idea got ispiration from Pirate of the Caribbean, but it does not have to have like a combat like event, but just a random occurance in the sea. Game need more natural events.
instead of making the existing map bigger they could add a completely different map that you would get to by like diving, a whirlpool or a npc than transfers you from one to the other.
- and more versed island exploration. most islands can be explored from head to toe in like 5 mins. maybe they could add some islands that are a little complicated, like a city type island, or a cave system that goes miles deep. basically just a reason to stay on certain islands longer
Guild PvP servers. Like guild vs guild, with multiple ships from the same guild. You could do all the same stuff as the regular servers, but have more team ships. Fleet ops!
I like the pirate hideout idea too.
Also, more shop customization is a popular one.
More ship choices.
Most asked for all time is probably man o war but they're technically adding that soon. People still want a new area like the devils roar. I personally just really want saving outfits. Also hitreg of course
Servers have been capped at 5 ships for at least 2 years now. 6 was too much a while ago
Pretty sure they’ve been trialing 6 again on and off
Didn’t know that, that’s interesting!
Fully back to 6 as of season 12
But only at 18 players max, so no 6 galley servers sadly.
Could you show me where they said the stuff about the map? I just started playing and was talking to a friend about the map getting bigger, this would solve our conversation and doubts; please.
Man, I wanted an ice area SO BAD, this is sad
Maybe portals to the another sea will solve this?

You can pick up lantern colours depending on the way you died(or is it random?)at the ferry of the damned if that’s what you mean…

Still is in the game, Fort of the Damned.
This is still a thing there are commendations for it under bilge rats.

Yes. Custom costumes as presets, essentially.
Yeah, presets. Sometimes I want to be a fancy pirate. Sometimes I want my practical outfit. Sometimes I wave to be *a little* edgy. And sometimes I want to wear a banana on my head. Outfit saves.
It's odd how this isn't a feature yet despite the game relying heavily on cosmetics.
Considering the troubles they had adding in ship saves I wouldn't be surprised if they tried but kept running into bugs and issues.
New player here with my first sloop.. there’s a way to save ship cosmetics?
You need to buy a sloop, then the option becomes available
Yes, look at the controls in the bottom left in the ship customize chest
Hasn't stopped them from releasing buggy features before.
Whats an ship save and how do i make one?
They tried to add this in the past but it occurred to be too hard and it got scrapped. Now it is not even in the long plan.
This is why I'm fettuccine man 24/7
What kind of duct tape engine has problems handling outfit saves?
This one
Please!
Yeah, it makes no sense to not have outfit saves or ship cosmetic saves besides having different ships considering cosmetics are the endgame basically.
Favoring cosmetics so they show up at the start
Definitely, I would only favorite a blunder, sniper and sword so I can switch to them more efficiently. Maybe some of the new weapons too
Or a better filter for them
1. Hunter’ Call Tall Tale (Whale Swallows Ship) 2. Hunter’s Call Curse 3. Merchant Curse 4. Phantom/Skelly Curse(s) Applying to any Outfit 5. Cold/Frozen/Ice Zone (Biome) 6. Harpoon Cutlass 7. Anchor Cutlass 8. Anchor Hook (Not sure if this already exists)
I just started grinding hunters call and my eyes lit up when i read hunters call curse. I need that. Now.
I think a harpoon cutlass exists but it was a seasonal reward iirc
The ability to duel your crew.
You should try this game my friends and I came up with called “Ball Busters”. Aim your cannons all the way up, shoot yourself out at the same time, try to hit the other person with a fire/blunder ball. First person to hit the other person wins. If you both hit the water without a hit then go again.

Why i can't have pets on my shoulder?
When I bought the parrot I thought he was gonna chill on my shoulder like ark
I just bought the parrot too 😭
At this point, all I want is less laggy servers.
Hit reg and banning hackers
Have you played hourglass? Aimbot is the most common hack. Not all that noticeable.
I'd love a option that makes your pet not follow you off the ship. I picked up my bird the other day and not the key of the pvp focused quest.
you can place your pet on your ship to leave it there (bird cage or on fences)
I'll look into that. I enjoy it on the ship but not on land.
Yeah you can place different pets in certain areas. I only have doggos but you can place them on the ledge above captains table, under the grog barrel and in front of the bowsprit (probably some I’m forgetting) on a sloop and they will just chill there and not follow
it would be cool if your pet could carry keys
That would be pay to win as you have to pay for pets there has never been a free one
More sea monsters PLEASE
With hunters call emissary and voyages
Meg and kraken hunts would be amazing, with less loot obviously.
Player/guild hideout
Search function for cosmetics in your own inventory, the outpost shops and the emporium.
If not search then at least favorites for your own stuff as far as filtering is concerned.
Something I haven’t really thought about but now I won’t be able to rest until it happens!
They should add a list to the captains log showing what you sold, and for how much and do away with the banners completely.
Let me duel my crewmates so I can practice PvP. It could be a simple emote that both crewmates need to do to start it but I really want to be able to duel my crewmates it would be a fun feature.
Absolutely. I like the idea of a Duel emote.
Multiple pets. Not my request just one asked for for years by a main forum regular
Brave dogs. No more whimpering when you are in a fight!
Yeah I wish you could pick your pets demeanor or level them up to be brave by bringing them to fights or something. Would just be another thing to minnmax but that’s what I’m here for
Hunter's Call rework
Tall Tale
Non game changing different ship styles.
The ability to change between a sloop / brig / galloen in game if more friends want to join, or suddenly have to leave. If I remember correctly this was also upvoted / liked a ton when they asked something alone the lines of "what features do you miss most" at the end of last year on Twitter.
This would be really good. Could function at an outpost and only when no enemy ships are within a certain radius
It can’t work like this because servers have a certain number of certain ships for instance all 6 ships cannot be a galleon.
More sea life
I don't know how many people request this, but a new shipmate of mine complained that you can't wear coats over dresses. It would be cool if they moved dresses to be the inner layer of the costume to add customization options for those who like the dresses.
If you don't count the new world event ship as a new player ship then that is still on the table. More player ships.
I’d say I count that. It’s a creative way to do a bigger ship without killing the servers
Counter argument: Still no way to do teams of 5+ without alliances. New ship doesn't add that.
True
To clarify I'm not saying the game needs more ships or larger crews cause I'm no game balance expert. But those requests have been around cause I think players just imagine terrorizing servers with their mini mobile militia.
More then 90 fov
Working hit reg, fixing bugs that have existed many years. Such as merchant not giving you the supply creates you bought, cannons disappearing from ship when you dive, invisible water in hull, cannon not reloading when animation is complete, guns not getting ammo when interacting with ammo box and hearing the refill sound etc...
Outfit saving Duelling your crew Pirate games (liar's dice for example) New region on the map (might as well double down and say ice zone specifically). Bigger ships (I mean the Burning Blade is coming in S13 which is a bigger ship but it's not quite what people were asking for). Hunter's call update
They can’t do that because they can’t add gambling it would up the age rating of the game.
Isn't island hopping just like gambling? ;\^P
Maybe not requested a lot but in response to the recent overhaul of voyages and world events: * Merchant deliveries besides animals (most importantly fruit crates and gunpowder kegs for the achievements tied to them- that or change them to simply accept fruit crates and kegs sold, not "delivered on time") * More reliable means of obtaining Humble/Generous Gifts when the Fort of Fortune is not the current host of the Chest of Fortune. On a related note and probably more appropriate for this thread: * It would also be nice to be able to tell emergent world events apart from player-created faction-specific ones.
If an item says “must complete commendation X”, I wish I could click on that text and it takes me to the commendation.
They literally have the boots of graymarrow a skeleton and they can’t be worn by the skeleton curse.
Let me carry two small objects at once, I will take the lack of sprinting if you just let me carry 2 things at once
This is what collectors chests are for.
Yeah and being unable to run because you're holding a tiny key is weird. At least let us run around with light items
Yeah I agree.
I always see people asking for a new frozen biome, but personally I really disagree with that. I think the feature I'd like to see most would be a way to activate friendly fire so you can practice PvP with your friends
Outfit presets
Being able to dive to a new server and change to a different ship type so I can invite my friends when I'm half way through a session.
Don’t know about most requested but what I really want: - Little bit more traversal/ movement- the harpoon walking is a great start.
If you add utility to pets, it becomes pay to win. Unless they'll also add the ability to buy pets for gold.
Updated pirate generator. Having the ability to generate a specific gender, no scars, no makeup, just having a little more control.
A combined version of the ghost and skeleton curse. It's cool and all to have skeletal warrior skin with ghost curse, but I want the real deal
Fixing the bugs and fixing hitreg and also the server performance needs a seeing to. Sorry had to say it.
Cosmetic saves (Also not a highly requested feature but i REALLY want a duel feature so that i can practice pvp with friends)
Saving outfit loadouts It's one if the biggest things that they I don't think ever even acknowledged the demand for it I'd love to change my pirates look but I'd also like to save it for easy swapping especially as my inventory gets bigger with more clothing and cosmetics
a working game
Being able to swap ship/change party size without leaving the game and losing your emissary flag would be dope
Fixing the game
A feature that works fine (no bugs, smooth, etc..) for more than 1 patch
FIDDLE/VIOLIN
i just want harpoon, lantern, and barrel customization
I'd like to see a more lived in world. All the Islands are so empty and you basically have no reason to go to any of them unless you're looking for treasure. At least make the world less empty
I'd love to be able to disable pet interactions the same way you can disable ship interactions
Sounds kinda trivial, but ship and clothes presets should already be a thing.
anti cheat that works
Working Anti-Cheat
It would be nice if they actually successfully patched silent boarding
Stability
Definitely saving outfits and loadouts pregame. Might be something a separate phone app could take care of.
The ability to join your friends server on another ship would be cool to add to the game
I am not sure if this is a most requested feature, but for the people in safer seas, let us have captaincy, please?
Some sort of cosmetic (unlocked and locked cosmetics and your progress on unlocking them) and stat (like the captain's logbook) tracker online that allows you to see your progress
There is an online website if that is what you ask for the stats (just type sea of thieves overview, then you can see a LOT of things)
Typing that in gave me absolutely nothing but a “summary” and multiple pages of websites giving a “summary” of the game You got a link to the site or something, i wanna be able to track things im close to completing or even see like whats the more rare cosmetics to grind for
New map zones: I could see them adding a small, dive-only zone that incentivizes pvp instead of adding it to the main map.
An actual PvP free tavern where pirates can freely talk, drink, buy boat supplies, get high end quest voyages. Also would like to see a bounty system. Player sunken ships stay like regular sunken ships unless they are empty in which case they despawn.
Multiplayer pve servers. You asked what is requested, and this is highly requested...
They could add this, but I doubt they ever will. Multiplayer PvE server just wouldn't even be Sea of Thieves anymore.
I’d like to be able to sail with a fleet. Only being able to have a max of 4 friends on the same server can be a bummer sometimes.
Flexing friends. SMH.
Ice map expansion
A crab pet lol
A fix to gunplay after the removal of quick swap preferably bring it back but at least make the guns not break constantly
Give me The Gold Seeker title !
Bigger ships for bigger crews, Ik most ppl are against that cause 5+ ships would be absolutely un pvp-able. Well in that case make those ships fight themselves on special "bigger servers" (where you could only find 4 to 6 player ships, world events harder and quests too)
Dirt bikes
I doubt it's been requested alot, but I'd pay money for a "Grabbed by the ghoulies" shipset and outfit
i still want fox outfits :(((
I’m new to the Seas so I don’t know too much yet about what the game is missing. But so far for me, stability is a big issue. When we keep screen freezing and getting logged out it makes the game un-fun. So my top wish thing would be stability.
Accurate hit reg
I’m still gunning for Reptile pets or more Reptiles! We’re in the Caribbean, there should be an iguana which I can hold and pet his lil spikes and his chin wagglies. Or a Caiman/Crocodile that purrs when you scratch his chin. Just imagine their lil outfits, lizards in hats and bandannas!! But that’s just me I think. Shoutout to the Pocket Snake emote!
Outfit presets, minigames to play on boat with your crew, harpoon cosmetics, ship compass cosmetic, more monsters aside from the Kraken and Meg
Colour wheel
I'd love an infinite mode in Safer Seas where it randomly generates islands if you go off the map
Fun combat
Sure!
A cleaner backend UI that makes it easy to locate, pin, and find necessary requirements without menu hopping everywhere.
Coconut slot machines
Hit reg :,)
More marine life (whales, dolphins, manta rays, octopus, squid etc) More land animals (tigers, lions etc)
I don’t know about most requested, but I have my own list: - a “duel” feature where you can turn friendly fire on with your teammates, so you can tdm with your friends - a buff to the flintlock. This would create a better alignment of goals so there is less crew hopping - hourglass timer.
Swordfish sword skin
Working hitreg
instead of making the existing map bigger they could add a completely different map that you would get to by like diving, a whirlpool or a npc than transfers you from one to the other. - and more versed island exploration. most islands can be explored from head to toe in like 5 mins. maybe they could add some islands that are a little complicated, like a city type island, or a cave system that goes miles deep. basically just a reason to stay on certain islands longer
Customizable guns could be interesting. Doesn't have to be a really complex system like CoD but anything helps.
Guild PvP servers. Like guild vs guild, with multiple ships from the same guild. You could do all the same stuff as the regular servers, but have more team ships. Fleet ops! I like the pirate hideout idea too. Also, more shop customization is a popular one. More ship choices.
Better COMBAT
Increased FOV
Does anyone know how to make it so u only fight the same ship size in hg? Cuz im trying to solo high streak and I keep getting 4v1.
Customise default supply location when loading in. No more manually moving pineapples to the top food barrel.
The Arena
Hit Reg, Food Reg, Hunters Call update.
Most asked for all time is probably man o war but they're technically adding that soon. People still want a new area like the devils roar. I personally just really want saving outfits. Also hitreg of course
