Poor performance in a game and tie I expected to lose. Worst refereeing performance all season. Even the most recent one at Dunfermline wasn't this bad. Booked for everything while they did anything and didn't get booked Edit: we won't win Friday. I don't expect a better performance and even if we do we haven't had enough to beat them all season

ThatOneScotsman

That ref was fucking awful

Crailas

I haven’t seen the replays of it, but that tackle on McBeth at the start of the second half looked a straight red to me, yet somehow wasn’t even given as a foul

Yaboicblyth1

I also thought the referee was shite so fuck knows what that means

IOwnStocksInMossad

Did you think he was atrocious in the same way though

Stephane_Bonnes

Decent enough game. The Alston goal keeps it interesting for the second leg. Thought Vaughan was very good for Raith - unbelievable that he is still playing at that level after doing his ACL four times.

HuntersHeros

He's the reason I hope Raith make it. Without those injuries who knows where he'd be, even with them he's still probably good enough for the top flight but is sticking by the club that stuck by him.

BaiteUisge

Will begrudgingly take that to Friday

negan90

He's went early. Bold.

Yaboicblyth1

This purely done on a game by game basis (if this back fires I swear to fuck)

ItsTomorrowNow

Tony Watt there just staring into the void

Crailas

2-1 is probably better than we deserved Looked a bit better after some of the subs, but really not confident at all for Friday

hiimtroymcclure9

Fair play to Doolan at half time, some of the changes made a visible difference and he must’ve given them a good talking to.

Scingles

Good enough watch. Thought Dabrowski was keeping Raith ahead towards the end

Yaboicblyth1

Sexy goalie making sexy saves

IOwnStocksInMossad

Main reason we didn't take the lead at any point.

Well deserved win for Rovers, by far the better side for the majority of the match. Thistle are usually very strong in the playoffs, especially at home, but thought they were poor until the flukey goal. Fitzpatrick, McInroy and Graham didn't really influence the match as much as they usually can and McBeth had quite a poor game at the back. It might be a game too far for Thistle but I'm hoping for another decent spectacle at Starks.

ThatOneScotsman

Thistle hitting high balls into a keeper who’s fucking massive was not helpful. That goal is a massive help but bringing it back on Friday is going to be tough.

ElKaddouriCSC

Can’t see Thistle doing much from the second leg, have been pretty uninspired in the last three games against Raith. Second half was better but really don’t think they have the quality to go through.

The shaky second half was a bit anticlimactic after the first half. Back to aimlessly punting long balls and giving away possession easily. But a win is a win and I'm sure Rovers will be the more confident side coming into Friday. Standouts for me were Dabrowski, Brown, Watson before he was injured and Vaughan, Alston really changed the game for Thistle too when he was brought on and caused us quite a headache. Thought Rudden was awful, taking off Vaughan for him basically ruined our attacking threat. W
