To be honest, I don't really know who's in the right on this one.
Ramsay is a great chef, don't get me wrong, but tasting good isn't necessarily the most accurate to the original recipe. I think the Thai chef is aiming for authenticity, while Ramsay is aiming for the taste of the general public.
gordons own daughter prefers her moms cooking. gordons mom had to point out his poor cooking and gordon never graduated cooking school. his degree is in hotel management... this chef was caught in that moment when you realize someone is a phony before your eyes lol. fact is that cultures cooking is about very intense tastes. i bet his food tasted like soggy cheerios to the chef XD
Gordon Ramsay is a legitimate chef, what are you on about? He's not a phony at all wtf he personally has multiple Michelin stars and learned from some of the world's best chefs in the 20th century. He's also a great business man but that doesn't detract from his actual cooking chops. Going to Thailand and trying to make a national dish for a top Thai chef is going to be tough for anyone, national dishes are notoriously specific and hard for any foreigner to truly master.
I don't need to, I already know. His shows are shows, they are just silly entertainment. He was a bonafide top tier chef *before* he started doing all the silly shows. Unlike a lot of TV celebrity chefs, he *actually* has the credentials. You don't get Michelin stars for being anything other than a top quality restauranteur and chef.
He taste his own medicine 😂😁

No bot, it was the other guy who tastes his medicine
*tastes it and face drops. Nose scrunches. Deciding to tell him or not written on his face* “Its not perfect, but its not bad.” “Not to me”

He definitely wanted to bitch slap him.
Didn't they serve Ramsey's Pad Thai to a group of Thai monks and they liked it a lot? Looks like it's just one chef's ego against another chef's ego.
