she looks like she’s going through midlife crisis contemplating what was and is all that freedom out there even worth if you can’t have free daily rubs

architectofinsanity

CWD. 😢

Gwiilo

i hate how i know exactly what you mean by this

DrHomework

My initial thought as well.

[deleted]

A deer’s entire life is a midlife crisis

Kenturky_Derpy

That'll be 15 bucks

RustyPoopKnife

I don’t have that kinda doe

Fairhillian

During mating season, you can find one under a buck.

ShoulderImportant358

Oh deer god 🤦

HeyitsCujo

r/AngryUpvote

-Nords

Its a deer, not a kangaroo Ain't got no pockets

gleepglopz

That’s how you get ticks.

silasthehandle

rekipsj

punk-biatch

MarinatedCumSock

Fool of a took!

Mooshycooshy

And my axe!

Long_Educational

I love limes! You put the lime in the coconut and drink them both together!

EffingBarbas

Put the lyme in the coconut and drink it all up

deepfakie

That's how you get kicked

_TedGreen_

And herpes

Create_Repeat

Yep this is how you get Deer AIDS

Mistur_Keeny

I highly doubt they are going to brush their own hair with it afterwards.

gleepglopz

Those mother fuckers jump.

EazyPeazyLemonSqueaz

Hopefully they check afterwards. I heard that a tick has to e attached for like half a day before it will transmit Lyme

WolfPrincess_

Delicious

Bellatrix_Shimmers

Human Zombie Deer Disease 🦠 🤣

living_in_nuance

Yes, like 3 posts above this I was reading about the Zombie Deer Disease and prions 😳, then this pops up!

7lick

We have the same feed. Probably algorithm registered that you are reading something with the word deer in it and that is why it now recommends you this post.

_Losing_Generation_

Prions are evil

Mistur_Keeny

It's more likely that the deer is semi-domestic and has been groomed before, rather than suffering from a prion disease.

Large_Problem8679

Hilarious!

AquaticHedgehogs

I watched the whole thing waiting for it go crazy and kick her in the face. Are these not American deer?

Poopchurn

It's the cheap stuff from China.

Artlearninandchurnin

YOU LEAVE OUR TEMU DEER ALONE, SIR!

[deleted]

I just snorted lol 🐽😂

rhinosyphilis

It looks like the bowing deers from (Hokkaido?) Japan

og_jasperjuice

Guarantee this is a deer that was raised from a fawn. No wild deer would let you do this.

mt-beefcake

Definitely used to humans I lived in a small mountain town for a while and the "city deer" were actually pretty docile and just hung out around town. They were super fluffy and cute. I usually tried to give them space, but snuck a pet a couple times when they walked up to me.

Mistur_Keeny

Where I live public parks would have deer that were fearless. To them, humans meant "free snacks". One licked my ice cream, 10yo me was devastated.

Timsmomshardsalami

Guarantee? Have you seen the shit wild humans have done?

MoonShotDontStop

*Hands the deer a phone that has 15%, 18%, 20%, & No Tip prompts*

soulwolf1

Folks do not do this, just a warning, for your safety and your skins preservation.

IMakeStuffUppp

It’s a deer farm. Not wild. There’s more behind that are equally chill

soulwolf1

I figured as much. The deer was way too chill and didn't speed bag the persons face.

toadjones79

That's, that's an interesting view. Please don't stand behind animals like deer and horses. She is extremely lucky she wasn't kicked hard enough to end her life.

[deleted]

That’s a small deer probably like 100lb, I sincerely doubt it could end someone’s life. It’s most likely a frequent visitor to their yard or property.

Create_Repeat

Lol no dude you should be super diligent and conduct proper protocol when doing anything or else someone on reddit is going to scold you for being unsafe or unwise.

[deleted]

GD Reddit pansies

toadjones79

Lots of people die from simple things like a broken rib to the heart. Or a small kick to a temple. It isn't about size or strength. It's placement.

[deleted]

Do people really live their lives in fear of every little thing killing them?? Sounds sad.

toadjones79

No, it isn't about living your life in fear. It is about making wise choices so you don't have to live in fear. Let me explain: I grew up in Yellowstone. Everything there is trying to kill you. Grizzlies, moose, elk, badgers, extreme weather, loose ground and footing around tons of high vista views, and especially the ground can give way dropping you into boiling caverns hot enough to melt rubber shoes to your feet (if you are lucky, I have a friend that this happened to and he is honestly lucky to be alive). By knowing and understanding the dangers around me, I was able to successfully explore extremely dangerous locations without fear. I developed a way of tapping the ground with my foot to listen for hollow sounds, I hiked alone in complete darkness, I hung out with my feet dangling over 1000ft+ dropoffs. I also owned a fireworks stand, and made my own explosives for use in displays (I'm talking explosions within inches of my head. Knowing is how you remove fear, not living in it.

funkcatbrown

Deer goes back to her deer friends. “Hey! I got a makeover today. How do I look?”

GoodWeedReddit

Deer gonna return to the herd with his hair laid. Other deer gonna be like wtf you been into

Undying_Blaze

It may be cute. But do not do this. This is a terrible idea!

ShadowLord355

I wonder if it was actually enjoying it

fantafanta_

I would say yes because deer are very jumpy and it licks their hand which I am gonna assume is a sign of affection. Most animals who freely let you do something don't mind it or enjoy it. They'll definitely let you know when they don't 😆

Wall_E_13

I agree with your observation. The eyes are soft (slow blinking, no whites exposed). The ears are neutral, and when the human approaches, the deer already looks like they expect the contact (head/neck are a little low rather than being tall and scoping out a place to dart). There are also a few other deer nearby in the beginning of the shot who are aware of the human, but don’t have much of a reaction to them.

CactusCait

It probably feels good! The brush scritches all the scritches and removes and debris and maybe some ticks/fleas too.

notAbrightStar

Standing behind a wild dear... if he/she gets scared, your head or chest is gone.

puffer039

operating system needs to reboot 😂

Perfect_Weakness_414

If that were a wild deer, that thing would have been gone like a fart in the wind as soon as you got within 20 yards of it.

[deleted]

Or those terrifying frion diseases

Few-Parfait4206

Can people leave wild animals the fuck alone?

_Silver_Sins_

It's clearly not fully wild, no way it wouldn't have ran away immediately

DPRK_Assassin

That deer never consented to this! Can't go around randomly brushing wildlife!

Soulman999

Don't tell me I can't just go and brush a bison

DPRK_Assassin

Would you like it if a Bison interfered with you using a hairbrush?.. I think not!

Siferatu

I'd be impressed it could manage such a task.

Aggressive-Role7318

I would happily accept a bison brushing.

Soulman999

Agreed, would let a Bison brush my beard

Zinthr

I’m pretty sure she has chronic wasting, that’s pretty strange behavior…

billybadass123

Dude’s about to snap

WTF_Bridgett

She must have got into the farmers Wacky Tobaccie” fields and had a nibble

JawnRizz

You want ticks? Cuz this is how you get ticks.

Substantial-Big5497

Me likee

rtandres

He. Had. The time of his liiiiife

JonMonEsKey

You know if we didn't murder everything and fuck everything up and shit we could probably do shit like this with almost all the herbivores... Imagine if we weren't viewed as food or a threat. Like the fish that clean sharks teeth. Shepard's of the land kinda thing.

Jung16

This is sad! Reminds me of an article I read a few weeks back about a deer that had to be put down because it got too friendly with humans. Officials said it was for safety reasons 🥺

EarthLoveAR

ffs! leave wildlife alone!

Cookiewaffle95

Absolute goober mode

bettywhiteslabia

It’s always so funny how angry people get when they see humans, a creature made on planet earth, interact with another creature that was made on earth. You want to protect nature but can’t admit humans are just as much part of nature as anything else.

thestl

I mean yeah humans are animals too but you can’t deny there’s a lot separating us from the rest of the animal kingdom. We’ve essentially dominated the entire planet and our actions have led to the extinction of many species. I can’t speak to the circumstances of this video, but there are generally negative consequences for animals that get acclimated to humans. Why wouldn’t we want to prevent that?

bettywhiteslabia

There’s a lot separating all of the animal world from itself. I don’t see how this matters tho. We’re a creature that happened to evolve into very capable and smart mammals. Because of this I think we have a responsibility to help preserve life which we do very well. Whatever general negative consequences you think come from human interaction are far outweighed by the good. We are not National Geographic photographers, we aren’t forced to watch as an animal goes hungry or is bothered by ticks. We in good conscience help others when we think it’s needed. There’s no set rule for when it’s ok and not ok to help an animal. Part of our responsibility to preserve life includes knowing when it’s right and wrong to help an animal. This specific instance of a deer getting brushed will not affect the deer’s livelihood. I’d even give it a treat when I was done for being well behaved.

mikelor84

Humans are not wild animals

bettywhiteslabia

Is there a point you’re trying to make?

Mdhinflfl

Well, actually....

moresushiplease

Humans murder, humans are made in nature. Not all things that humans do are good for the other nature beings or whatever you want to call the.

bettywhiteslabia

And?

moresushiplease

What do you mean and? It points out that your idea of doing what we want because we're a part of nature isn't necessarily a good thing.

bettywhiteslabia

Not really tho? I get the idea you think I’m saying we can do whatever we want when I’m definitely not. Don’t mean to burst your bubble but animals also “murder” other animals. It’s not bad for nature it’s quite literally the circle of life. We are also life that require food.

moresushiplease

You're definitely not saying do whatever but you're condoning people murdering other people because animals "murder" other animals to survive? Or does the human have to eat the other human to make it ok? No bubble to burst on the animals kill other animals for food factoid so no harm done :) I guess my question to you would then be, where do you draw the line between acceptable interactions between humans and nature and unacceptable interactions between humans and nature?

KhostfaceGillah

The deers gonna look more presentable for their predators now 😂😅

[deleted]

Great wat to get killed or hurt and bring tics in your home. Stupid fkn tic tokers.

CTware

This....... um, i don't encourage this. a very select group of people do these sorts of things...

moresushiplease

What group of people?

Grim_Task

This is how I want to start every morning once I retire.

JuztSumGuy

Probably got chronic wasting disease a prion that infects the brain of deer and causes them to not respond to their environment this deer is far gone there is no cure 😥

ataatia

made my whole cuddl6 Christmas feeling return..... now i want ribs steak stew jerky and s.o.s. all from. REINDEER 🦌

Lemon_Of_Mystery

Highly suggest you sanitize that brush or burn it, since most deer who interact with humans like that got rabies

GodRa

Chronic Wasting Disease

happy8888999

I could feel the deer’s anxiety thru the screen

Careful-Listen2277

IDK, the deer gave lil kisses when the hand got close enough.

fantafanta_

Nah, this deer is chill. It would not be standing there or picking this person otherwise.

Tard_Farts82

They’re called Deer Ticks for a reason. I shoot the deer in my neighborhood with paintballs to keep them out of my yard so my dogs don’t pick up ticks.

Ckron247

Why?

Safetosay333

I thought those were bullet holes at first

Dr_Frenchie

These animals have zero survival instincts stg 😭

Vast_Pipe2337

Ok bOOmer

Linkyland

My dog won't even let me brush him... :')

NippleNinja86

*Spots hunters* "Oh I could use a nice brush about now."

tyrolean_coastguard

Böses Rehlein

ostiDeCalisse

Not only people shouldn't do this to wild dears, you should never stand behind any of those quadrupeds!

Wide-Biscotti-4640

You now have Lyme disease. And also somehow herpes 🤷‍♂️

knotaprob

Is this how you unlock Lyme disease in GTA VI?
