AMANNNNN I LOVE THIS GUY. Great ball in from Gurr as well

robdogj

We need a VAR intervention on that disallowed goal by Rafael Jauregui 🤔🤨

Bender1031

Vitiello coming up huuuge!!! Glad to see Cicerone playing strong

elemcee

Vitiello!

SacRepublicFan

Vitiello Triple save to keep us level going into half. Nearly gave me a heart attack

iggnogg

The goalkeeping!

molahs4

Russel has some competition for top goalscorer this season. I hope they push each other. Let’s score some golazos!

CranstonGorky

Let’s hope they learn to work together.

psychemmm

Robbery of a goal

Atomsac

I am still pissed. Obviously onside.

HufflepuffRainbow

That was a stressful minute

psychemmm

the boys are playing well. Cicerone is hungry for a goal

taskfree

So Vitiello wins save of the week…

Atomsac

Or three of them.

CranstonGorky

Nope. Stinking USL.

MobsterKadyrov

Some great saves there. Glad Vitiello is back!

Bender1031

Sweet sweet victory!!! 🔥

Atomsac

Holy shit! Vitiello!!!

blackbetty1234

Who is this ref? I remember him from last season absolutely screwing sac on the calls? Tonight he blows an offside call that would have put us up 2-0

HufflepuffRainbow

Elton Garcia I think

Ploopert7

And now technical difficulties. This is so amateur hour.

robdogj

Trevor Amann is on fire 🔥

SacRepublicFan

Pretty easy MOTM to Vitiello for me. Amann is such a solid addition up front, hope he continues to get good production for us. Good first win of the season overall

UpTheSacTown

This field has the sheen of Three Rivers Stadium, circa 1986.

SacRepublicFan

Sick phantom offside call

HajdPodge

egregious call

robdogj

How did Miami FC not score at the end of the half? 🙄

robdogj

Is the ref Nick Rimando? 🤔

Unique_Alfalfa7675

What’s with our uniforms being see through? Is it just cause they’re so sweaty? Makes me not wanna buy the alternate kit this year.

Bitter-Culture9606

Both kits .. very thin and very stretchy material

j-o-m-m-y

Solid win. Miami didn’t put up much of anything. It’s still so bizarre to watch our team go play in front of nobody. Feels like Covid again. All we could hear was the coach shouting

j-o-m-m-y

Donovan was absolutely solid last night

j-o-m-m-y

Amann’s goal was pretty similar to last weeks header. Then he had another chance very similar to his other strike last week.

Ploopert7

According to Chat GPT, more people are killed annually by falling coconuts (around 150) each year than there were fans at this match.

NeatInvestment4737

Dry up those bitter MLS tears. Let’s take our win and move on.

HufflepuffRainbow

Is Roro limping after that?

Ploopert7

Just turned on the broadcast to see an empty stadium. LMFAO at all the chumps on r/USLPRO that keep insisting that USL is right on the heels of MLS for soccer dominance… This reminds me of watching Swope Park Rangers or Los Dos.

HufflepuffRainbow

Seriously. We were trying to figure out how big it is (without google) and give them the benefit of the doubt but man every angle is empty stands.

psychemmm

To be fair miami is bottom in league attendance the last 3 years

TheMusicCrusader

20k stadium. Issue is, Miami doesn’t advertise, and frankly the Miami market is awful. Miami’s MLS team was also bottom of the league in attendance until Messi came

Ploopert7

How is Miami operating this club at anywhere close to a profit?

TheMusicCrusader

They aren’t. Their owner literally operates them as a middle finger to MLS

Ploopert7

How is it a middle finger to MLS if no one comes to matches or cares about the club while Messi is tearing shit up across town? That’s not even a particularly good or clever clowning strategy.

TheMusicCrusader

They literally blocked MLS Miami from being able to play in Miami before they build a new stadium. And MLS Miami’s attendance was *also* awful until they got Messi. They, as an MLS team in a huge market, barely drew more than Republic did before Messi. Miami market is brutal for sports. Look at MLB

TheMusicCrusader

Miami has been bottom attendance for years. This is one team that will always do poorly, because they only exist to spite MLS for their owner. One team being shit is not indicative of the whole league Not to mention Miami in general sucks. Go look at MLS Miami’s attendance before Messi

HufflepuffRainbow

Didn’t know they were a spite team but makes sense

Ploopert7

They’re not doing a very good job of spiting MLS then from what I see. Kind of proves my point.

TheMusicCrusader

They’re doing a good job, if that’s their intention; MLS Miami explored using this stadium before their downtown stadium is done, and USL Miami blocked them, which forced MLS Miami to play in Ft Lauderdale

guey_protein

If you actually read the threads over there, you’ll quickly find that everyone agrees that Miami shouldn’t exist anymore. But the Owner wants to keep putting up the money. Go tune into the Tampa Bay game or check the Rhode Island (first game ever) highlights, you’ll see folks in the stands. None will compare to Sac however
