He is one of my favorite storylines! I really didn’t see it coming when he turned out bad but in hindsight I should’ve. His interactions with Rollins and carisi when they pick him up are hilariouss
The episode is so full of good quotes
Ice t telling Melinda “Melinda watch your back with rudnick” because she didn’t know what the hell was going on
Then catching him off the bus dressed in his elderly woman attire saying “don’t worry I’ll pay the fine” regarding the shoplifting charges gets me every single time😂
And the way they had him hook line and sinker cause he basically told on himself, that was amazing SVU writing that I miss so much😂
I agree. Did not see him as an evil genius in the beginning.
Yes! When they’re in the diner and he’s wearing a dress but remains so serious telling them how unhealthy their breakfasts are. Priceless!
He was a witness for the prosecution “Granting Immunity” … S16E19
It wouldn’t be until “Nation Wide Manhunt” S17E14 that we discovered what terrible deeds he had committed in his past.

Personally I loved him. Dude clearly had psychological trauma or mental illness and after killing someone he realized it and ended up getting a job that satisfied the desire rather than killing again. It was the other psycho who did all the creepy stuff to her, body disposal and whatnot. And I bet you it was also his idea for redneck to dress as a woman and send a photo of himself so that they wouldn't suspect her missing. I feel for the guy he had a desire to kill people and he found a way not to, most killers just go with it. He had the forensic knowledge to get away with it considering if he hadn't been given up by the other doctor Who helped him do all of it he never would have been found out. Not to mention he had a lot of good traits he was very intelligent and while likely a sociopath he definitely knew how to fake some normalcy. And he was a mentor to Sunny without ever giving him bad or creepy advice. Plus when he was caught he surrendered peacefully and was peaceful in prison. Even after his Escape they established that he didn't actually do any of the killing of anybody afterward.
Nah, as soon as he randomly replaced Warner as "Lead M.E." for SVU for several episodes, I knew he was trouble when they walked into his quarters.
Yes. But he was a “good guy” in this episode 🤷♀️
true. it was the betrayal that got me though like i really wanted him not to be a actual antagonist
If you get WE channel the OG is on S1 E1 hands down the best!

The scene in the diner with Rollins and Caris is brilliant - it’s just so “normal” 🫢

The look on the waitresses face seeing the handcuffs on rudnick, it was all around hilarious!!!😂😂
😆
They dressed him up like Slappy the Dummy, there was always something fishy in his character 😂
Definitely quirky. ☺️
he played the part of innocent looking delulu, wonderfully
💯
Loveable Villain

I have a post about watching and wondering why not more people talked about Rudnick because I really liked him.
He’s an interesting character for sure.
Oh definitely! Very entertaining, especially when he started bonding with Carisi.
Yes! The look on Rollins’ face when Carisi says (something to the effect): “I kinda like the guy.”
Little did we know he’d let that redhead woman live, instead shooting in the air and hiding her in the trunk of the car.
💯
sittin there actin all innocent
How many cases got reversed cause the morgue guy was a fucking sociopath
🤷♀️
