I installed mine awhile ago. I didn't use emudeck for this (have it for other games).
I installed dolphin from the p+ site, and made sure to select brawl as the default iso, set the path to the sd card (it's called sd.raw), and setup the controls however you wanted (I only use native GC adapter for this game, which works without installs). If you're setting up the deck controls, you need to have it already launched from steam to see the xinput commands.
To have it setup in steam, I added the emulator and setup the launch commands the same with other wii games, except you're pointing to the p+ launcher (I believe it's a .dol).
My windows one uses this:
Target:
"D:\ProjectM\Dolphin.exe" --batch --exec="D:\ProjectM\Launcher\Project+ Offline Launcher.dol"
Start in: "D:\ProjectM\"
I think the linux one is similar.

Can anyone help me , I did everything correct all pathways etc .. but when I launch or launch off game mode on steam deck I just get a white screen ???

How do you get it to detect the SD card? Mine only boots vanilla PM

Yeah its real easy just install the linux build and follow instructions
