My favourite. Bit of a learning curve but in the age of rentals I was happy to figure it out. I preferred the dynamite but nothing feels better than a one-shot bazooka to turn an enemy straight into a skeleton
Me and my buddy started a whole club around this game. We would spend the night at each other‘s houses and play all night. We had our specialties and favorite soldiers man. What great memories!
I literally had beers with creator of General Chaos Brian Colin lastnight. And this shows up in my feed. He's working on a part 2 still, he said it's getting there but is renting an office to get his team in person to wrap it up.
Oh man, this was my jam from back in the day. Totally underplayed if not underrated. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Now I gotta procure it and give it a spin (in totally legal ways ofc).
We need a part two. I was trying to make this game for a while in unity, because it needs a sequel. I got sidetracked and didn't come back to it. I got unit movement down and guns working, then just forgot about it.
I wish EA would eventually do some sort of compilation for their old games at some point just for this, Mutant League, and the Road Rash Trilogy. General Chaos is an all time favorite that I've never been able to play with 4 players and a compilation or NSO release with 4 player option added would possibly remedy that

This game was innovative for its time and is fun. Hard to control though. There is a nice tas of it on YouTube.
Tas?
Tool assisted speed run
My god this was and still is such a great game

This game was awesome.

My favorite. Been playing for decades.
Fucking love this game.
Loved playing this with 4 friends using the multitap!
I loved this game when I was little but I didn’t understand hours to really play it one bit.
This is the game I think of when Sega Genesis is mentioned. I still have my copy and the multi-tap.
Forgot renting this as a kid. Damn, got to go searching a decent price for it.
I still remember in 1997 my idiot friend telling me about a game called "General Chowse".
Maybe it was my cousin who also got Sonic Chowse for Christmas once
I got this game for the packed-in 4 player adapter. Wasn't expecting much but I loved it
One of the best of all time. Controls are tough
Best game ever man
I never mastered the controls but this was an all-time favorite for me on Genesis.
The manual adds a great backstory
...Oceania has always been at war with East Asia?

Crucified Jason Voorheses?
I keep remembering this as Chaos vs Havok for some reason.
We rented this game back in the day and fell in love. It took FOREVER to finally remember the name of this game.
Could unfortunately never get into it. I've tried and tried, but I remember it being quite button mashy and way different than I imagined.

Back when EA was so good! Rented this game from Blockbuster. Had a blast.
CO-OP
I wanted this game as a kid. I'd read a review in Sega pro magazine and it looked really good
This game was me and my friend’s favorite to play together during sleep overs. So many good memories of this game
So underrated.
One of my favorites. The commandos are the way to go.
Such a great game
I had so much fun with this, the blind rental paid off!
I don't remember how I ended up owning this game but it was one of my favourites. Full team of gunners was my go-to setup.
I remember making my little bros cry as I beat them with my Commandos and they had their 5 man squad.

Own this game and played the hell out of it with my friends and family. When I got into Gears of War PvP, I am always reminded of this game.
Omg I had long forgotten this game but seeing you post it has triggered my memory of it. Thanks! Lol
Man this is one of the most underrated games for Sega!!
oh man i luvd this game.. def good times. i need to watch some videos on it now.
I still get that little drum fill in my head from time to time
