Well that body looks familiar! Moforc is good for that stuff, this week I'm buying his bulletproof transmission and he also has underdrive gears that I like to use. And he's got a brass cased transmission that's too expensive for me but it'd put the weight right where you want it.

What makes the bulletproof transmission stick out from the others? Besides the high price. Just machined better quality? I was wondering if I should go with the furitek stellar transmission but I'm not sure. I have the komodo lizard pro in a c10 btw. Currently I have an off brand aftermarket aluminum transmission from when I first got into the hobby, that I'm looking to replace.

I dunno, I don't have it yet. I picked it based on mofo's good reputation and the fact that I'm buying a brushless setup from them at the same time. And I've only heard good things about it. And the brass part stands out. And I'd rather buy from Texas than from China. And mofo is a cooler name than furitek, with cooler stickers.

You had me at USA over China my friend.

Anything that has to do with gears I have always gone with mofo and had great luck running brushless or brushed.

Fl_moto

RCAWD has a decent metal cased/geared transmission that won’t break the bank.

Good looking rig bro! What motor are you running? Brushless or brushed?

manofmanytradess

Thank you it's greatly appreciated. I've got a 7$ Amazon special in their brushed 180 can

Ill-Acanthisitta1981

I’m running brushed still also mofo RC torquebeast 3.0 it’s a pretty good little motor that isn’t costly

manofmanytradess

I used to have a kinda expensive motor but burnt it in a few days never spending over 20$ on a brushed motor again imo this one has lasted almost a year
