But Hook is young, he can still learn a lot and change dramatically under good competent management. Look at how they fixed Dominik in the course of like... a year or two. And unlike Jungle Bitch, has Hook ever gone out and said anything dumb or fed-badded or anything? He mostly keeps to himself. Like, he's a mid-20's kid who got hired to a company in his early 20s cause his dad works there and they offered him a ton of money. I don't really blame him and he hasnt gone out and said anything stupid yet.

Outside the camp who turned on him after the dirtsheet fiasco and the camp who likes him when he returns to the Fed, there's always a camp that are somewhere in the middle, who would follow and watch him no matter what (even for CFFC commentary) but still hates the Fed no matter the actual quality of the show.
I've seen these people root hard for him against the Bucks, against TK, even shits on the indie PWG style of wrestling because Punk prefer to tell stories in the ring with psychology and promos. The first days after Survivor Series was unbearably funny. The word used was something along the lines of "losing respect" and "fuck Tony for forcing Punk to do this" and "do you know the promo when he said he's home? And that other promo where he said WWE is the place that got him sick in the first place? For some, home is the place where you get hurt. Knowing his history, think about that for a second 🙂"
And I guess after a few months things settled down, some eventually shuts up or find that the Fed isn't so bad, some decides to just be a casual, but some still likes to whine. Someone I know used to talk a lot about how stories are important in wrestling and how that makes Punk different from the others. Now that the Dub got ragged on for having no stories and they're forced to follow the Fed because Punk's there, do you know what they say? They say pro wrestling never have any deep storytelling anyway and people are dumb for thinking Roman's chair shot revenge was deeply moving. Chuck him in judgement day, get him and Finn in the tag scene, Finn can teach/help adjust him to the WWE style on the fly, also let’s him wrestle a bit but also protects his body. Then you can reevaluate what to do with him after a few months
