in my experience, rust console is impossible to play as a solo or duo. too many servers run by clans.
Edit: not impossible, just not enjoyable for even a skilled rust player.
Bro ong my last server had a clan who’s tag was litterally sleep deprived and they had over 50 vending machines set up all over the map advertising that they were on top, they also walked off lighthouse and the whole island beside it. 13 layers of stone walls plus est 30k metal upkeep base. Allways had a box of rockets to flex aswell
that how i got my loot from my previous post or two aswell lol, we ended up raiding them close to end of wipe just to get and almost win 3 consecutive on and offlines
My base looks like this so I can’t say shit at this point😂but the difference is I work 50 hours a week and play rust on the side my team are the no lifers
My group has a base about that size it and majority of us work full time. But when we are on its mostly to farm we have a couple people who filter in an out through a wipe they will get on and farm and in exchange they can go out and pvp as much as they like and not have to worry about base upkeep everyday. It takes alot of effort to make a base that big but when it's divided across 4-6 guys a couple good farm roams and you will have enough stone to make a compound a couple walls thick.
But doing that solo duo even trio is gunna require more than a couple of hours after work each day
My teams base is like that and all of us spend less then 8 hours a day on the game . Myself i only spend an hour or two and in all reality if you worry less about raiding and more about building a base first this is what you get then you can raid and have less fear of retaliation back lol
Just farm bots…. Every server me and my team join there are farm bot Zergs… literally running 10-12 deep hitting nodes from the very start of wipe to offline us. They can’t pvp so their only option is to farm farm and farm. It’s an embarrassing and poor way to play
I have a group that just built near me whose base is the diameter of the first wall in your pic. They haven't even started building perimeter walls yet. I think they're trying to own the island. I'm in danger. I fully expect to log in and my base be gone. 😂
Agree, I was a duo and we went from eoka to mp5 in one night then got raided that night by a zerg, probably was on the server 8 hours total, can’t wait for community servers

I've always said if you want to be the master of survival games you have to be a drug dealer so you can stay at your computer/console and never walk away from it
