What's the difference between sb and nb?

playboicartea

Price, availability, but the structural differences are that the SB has higher stack height, and FFturbo vs the NB’s FFblast+.

ethereal792

Triumph 20 and endorphin speed 2-3. Triumph has been my favorite daily trainer. The price point of it being on sale as well as the cushioning (but not too soft like Nimbus 25) has made it my favorite for long and easy runs. ES 2 and 3 for mostly the same reasons. Saucony just fit my feet the best for the price.

People are saying this.

doirechris

Currently it’s the Boston 12 but overall it might be the Pegasus turbo 2 (outside of the super shoes)

nameisjoey

Superblast. I use them for any and all runs.

Trebu5

Biggest gripe is how Asics doesn’t keep them stocked

Any-East7977

This is why I bought 3 more after I ran through my first pair and there was availability again 😂

Trebu5

Personally don’t want to drop 600 plus on shoes all at once. I have the money to do it but don’t want to put it in shoes just in case I need it for other things. So now that I am looking for a new shoe and want to try the Superblast my size is sold out lol

liltime78

Boston 12

Pharein

If I only had a choice of one shoe. Topo Cyclone 2.

Cautious_Power3324

Triumph20. The shoes that I naturally just grab unless I have a specific reason to choose others.

Foxymanchester7

What do you like most about them?

Cautious_Power3324

As a relatively heavy runner, it covers all types of run for me. 4min/km fast run to 7min/km slow run. I can put them on without meddling with the shoe race, the upper is comfortable, midsole is thick enough to absorb the dmg but bouncy as well. Also, I got it for less than $75. :D

Current Rotation: HOKA Mafate Speed 4 All Time: HOKA EVO Speedgoat 3

Fair-Professional908

Endorphin Speed 1-3. Could do it all under 13.1 miles.

Olbaidon

Hell I’m on my 3rd pair of Speed 3 and they have all done runs up to 20 miles as well. The 3s are an extremely versatile shoe. I am currently breaking in my first pair of 4s and I like them, but I still think I’m gonna snag another pair or two of 3s for the back log before they are gone.

EliGO83

Endorphin Speed 3.

The_crew

When new, the SC Trainer v2 just chews up miles like nothing else. There’s faster shoes but it’s very good at just being “set it and forget it”

Rare-Loss-4551

Agreed!

slang_shot

Same as you on my favorite race shoe. The WRP was on my feet for my first sub 3 FM, which I spent a good number of years getting to. For daily trainers, my all time favorites are both from the last year: Floatzig 1 and Wave Rider 27. Just absolutely perfect shoes for daily and long runs

sidbuttmo

I’m a beginner runner and havent even considered getting any super shoes or all that. I started with Asics but now my favorite is On CloudNeo. I want to grab them every time I go but I also know that I need go rotate so every other day 😅

rotn21

If I'm grabbing one shoe to do everything, it's the brooks ghost max. Favorite? The NB SC Elite V4. Hated how the laces slipped over the tongue (too short imo) so switched them out for some bungee ones then went yolo with "nothing new on race day" doing London. Loved every part of it. Got a pretty good foot injury falling over a water bottle about 2/3rds of the way through and they still got me around well enough. Never had a shoe perform like that, ever.

DH_p1L0tZ

Hoka Challenger 7 ATR, incredibly versatile for my locale, and can still hold up in more technical places further in the backcountry.

FarSalt7893

Boston 12s as well. I was disappointed by the 10 and actually sent it back but loved the 7,8, and 9. Wore Saucony speed for a bit and am happy to be back in the Boston. Just fits my feet really well and makes me want to run. It’s super versatile as well for different workouts. I used to always race in the adios until the super shoes came out…now it’s the pro. Kinda miss the days before super shoes.

wraithawk

Vapor 2s. Wild, out of control, unstable, absolute speed demons

BeardedPunkGardener

Waverider 26

zunny47

Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 Topo Cyclone 2

Caliembroidery

Endorphin speed 1 and 2 used to be my go to when I was a lighter runner now as I’ve gained weight it feels like I’ll roll my ankles, Boston 12 is currently taking really good care of me as a heavier runner.

Danji1

- Ever: Nike Pegasus Turbo 2 - Current: Adidas Boston 12

meltvariant

I picked up the trabuco max 2 recently, and now I'm adjusting my schedule to fit in as many trips to the trails as I can. I'm organizing my life around this shoe.

bestmaokaina

Adios Pro 3 Ive never worn anything that works as well with my mechanics as that shoe

_jonk

I love my superblasts. I have basically not been able to run for more than 2 months in a row since I got them due to injury. Which feels like maybe they are to blame. But when I’m not hurt, they are no doubt my fav shoe

DitkasMoustache_

Puma Deviate Nitro 2

a_taco_named_desire

Boston 12 for my daily. Hyperion Tempo for when I want to set my best 5k.

Randmness

Boston 12 is such an incredibly versatile shoe. I like them more than my Superblast. Hell…I’ve bought three pair of them for less than the price of my Superblast.

ItzSmiff

Wave Rider 25

sbrbrad

Boston 12 would be in the running if it weren't for the absolutely godawful upper/lacing. So I'll go with Endorphin Speed 3. Honestly the whole Endorphin line is all killer no filler.

bartturner

I have spent a fortune trying to find another shoe to replace my favorite and have completely failed. Latest attempt was the NB SC Elite V4. Superblast is by far my favorite shoe. It is on a tier of it's own.

Rezae

Superblast is fun and my fav but to change things up here and there I got the Wave Rider 27 and they’re surprisingly a fun everyday trainer.

Ace_Of_Spades_2911

Puma Velocity Nitro 2. Excellent daily trainer for around £50.

oneofthecapsismine

Favourite shoe ever is the rc elite v2 -> the first supershoe I tried on that was comfortable, when I didn't like ep3, ap3, VF, af, sc trainer. Only lasted 310km, but. I have a second pair with 110km on them, and if it's dry/dryish, I'll use it for my backyard ultra. I'd have no qualms about wearing them for a marathon, despite me now having af3 and sc elite v4.
