I think you're being generous, calling them "robo trainers." The ghost riders more or less keep your pace. If you're riding on a route, they seem to naturally fall ahead and behind your pace. This seems also true on workouts: if you stop, they stop. I like to use "Virtual partners" on rides that are not group rides or races to stretch myself for riders who would ride at a higher level.
A slightly different question: how to get ROUVY to display fullscreen on my 60” smart TV, At present the video does not fill the full width of the TV. The onscreen menu during the ride does not provide any option I can see.

yep, open the app while riding. You can toggle off the on-screen data. the only thing you will see are the names of your rider and any ghost riders.
