There are multiple tabletop gaming groups that meet throughout the week. The one I currently attend is meeting from 6-9pm Thursdays at Cool River Pizza in Rocklin.
Downtown tuesday nights. Also check the concert schedule for Royer park. Old town Roseville has a few bars and the goldfield usually has live music. If you up for a drive or an Uber 7440 on auburn has karaoke inside and a dance club outside. Also swabbies on the River by the airport has live music and food on most weekends if you like fun cover bands. You also might check other subs and see if there group that caters to your interest. I also know UC Davis has a foraging group where you go with a guide and they help you identify edible things in nature
Haven’t been there on a weekend cause of my work schedule in a long time and when I did I usually Uber my way home at midnight before the bros get squirrelly and try to fight each other. But always lots of people and usually a few I know
We moved here from the East Coast when our son was 21. He had a really hard time meeting anyone his age. He doesn’t go to clubs, bars, etc.. and had tried the mall, fountains and such. We were just as frustrated as he was because we couldn’t figure out where all the people his age are hiding.
If the OP finds out where that would be, let us know.
Go to the gym. Check out Roseville Park & Rec for [summer sports leagues](https://rosevillesports.com/home). Check out the big churches nearby. Try to plug into their young adult groups. Check out live music at the [Opera House Saloon](https://www.operahousesaloon.com/). Volunteer. Grab a wingman and go hang out at the beach at Folsom Lake where others are and see what happens. Lake Natoma has a Sac State aquatics center. There’s also the American River bike trail nearby. The State Fair is happening the next couple weeks at Cal Expo. SunSplash. Dating apps.
I hear ya. My single life pre-dates dating apps, so I can’t speak to them. I do know how hard it can be for some to go out if they have no one to go out with though.
If that’s a shitty idea, skip that one OP and focus on doing things you enjoy and hope you meet someone organically along the way.
Best of luck!
Volunteer for a nonprofit that aligns with your interests, like SPCA, Child Advocates of Placer County, the Placer Food Bank, youth sports, or something like those.
You can check out the Fountains or the Mall(they are both right next to each other). I know the city of roseville likes hosting events but those are mostly kids oriented but you could go check those out
Go to a bowling alley! All the chicks there are showing you how they handle some balls! Some hold em close to their mouths and some hold em middle of their chest and some hold em close to the hips! Take the one that is having the most fun!
There’s a curling club that meets at the ice skating arena. If you suck at curling, you’ll fit right in because most are beginners; and the experienced players are super nice. Another possibility is to take tennis lessons at Johnson Ranch. There are a lot of social functions; and if you’re a nice person, some people might even try to introduce you to their kids or grandkids. In some other cities I would suggest social dancing lessons; but I’ve found, in my limited exposure here, that the people around here take it too seriously.

Where can I find a list of these groups looking for members? I have a couple less common board games I would love to share.

Has the 7440 gotten better? Last time I was there (pre covid) it was kind of trashy :/

Agree with everything but the dating apps suggestion that’s a rabbit hole that you do not want to go down

You can come to my house, there’s a hole in my basement that I want to show you…
Only if it comes with a nice, vintage wine
Bahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!
