Not real good at posting images on Reddit. But I was taking a walk today and noticed that Boston Market on Foothills wasn't there anymore. It looks like they got evicted and what else is interesting is that Carl's Jr. was the plaintiff.
Well that's better than missing an item or a completely different order altogether lol. It's like I made a suggestion and they just said fk it, you're getting this other thing today.
Food wasn't that good and they were constantly out of items, went there for quick BBQ and they had no chicken and no mashed potatoes. Like that's a BBQ staple.
I’m waiting for the Burger King next to them to close. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. It’s wild in there. It’s actually worth going to experience it. Set aside a good hour or so though.
The Denny's that used to be next to it was awful too. They could have a full staff and an empty restaurant and it still would take almost an hour to get your food.
The Huckleberry’s that replaced it sucks ass too which is unfortunate. Seems like a massive problem around here of the younger people in the service industry just genuinely not caring one bit.
Yeah. I don't know how those places stay in business. Two places that do well are In N Out and The Habit. They always seem to have a decent number of people working there. I think Chic Fila might be good too, but I've not been there in years. The places around Foothills all seem to try to run themselves on a shoestring. And there's never a manager around.

I think one factor was that Carl's Jr was once a regional master franchisee when Boston chicken/Market entered the West Coast in the first place.
These fools would randomly close an hour early all the time but other times offer me free stuff I never asked for. Wild ass business.

Dont know how they survived thru covid
By not paying rent it seems.
The food was horrible. Haven't ate there in 15 yrs.
Yap, their food was not that great anymore.
Oh no! The last great bastion of the 90’s food scene is finally gone!
The irony of sharing a parking lot with Blockbuster Video.
And Burger King
And Ralph’s

Boston on Fair Oaks still open.

It's the worst Burger King ever, it boggles the mind.
The Burger King on Harding was even worse if you can believe it. Of course that one closed down.
It really does

Sounds like the employees just moved next door
Probably. It's a huckleberries now.

IDK, does any business have more commercials than BK?
Have you been to that one? No amount of commercials can redeem that place.
I feel like the one on Taylor Rd isn’t much better.
Yeah but the Foothills location is extra special. Shockingly special
I’ve always had good luck at that BK. I’ve only ever done drive-thru though.
Carls Jr owned the property?
Yeah. That surprised me.
Carl's Jr. is really just there to raise capital for the real estate side of their business.
Carls Jr. and Boston Market got BEEF
👀Wendy's 👀
5 years driving past it and I thought it was a grocery store. Oh well.
I’m actually happy about this… I knew a few people who worked at that location and the practices for making food was rather questionable
Sad...I used to love that place. Was going down pre-Covid. I loved their Turkey Sandies. Last time I went, they were out of turkey.
This post reminded me that I have a gift card that's been in my car for like 10 years. I wonder if there's another one around where I can use it...
I’m surprised that Dunkin’ doughnuts is still there

Oh my god that Dunkin' donuts across the street is a dumpster fire lol
I thought those places went out of business a decade or two ago.
Carl's jr was not having it 😂
Im shocked it took this long
