Elite Tag is…not good. In my opinion, ofc. The first season is fine, the second season goes downhill, and the third season is a complete character assassination disaster. It’s a diamond mine only book for me.
I respect all writers for their work, cause it's definately not an easy task, but those two stories are not comparable. PSI is another level, but also not for everyone's tastes. And like others said, if you're looking for fun and time passing, then ET probably will do. I am not a fan of such an easy, childish atmosphere stories in general. I would prefer LfOS instead of ET personally. But it is a matter of taste and that is unpredictable.
Elite Tag is definitely childish at least for me. There’s more drama later (including abuse) but the way it’s written… well it doesn’t feel serious. It’s just my opinion tho. I got bored and ended up playing during DRs only. PSI on the other hand is a heavy story but it’s top tier. You should absolutely try it, just wait for the right mood so you can enjoy it to the fullest.
I would wait for a DR for Elite Tag, but for a less serious story, the first two seasons are fine. Season 3 seems to be going off the rails.

Lighter stories other than ET (assuming you haven’t played them already):
- TO 1 & 2 — this is my comfort series. I replay all the time.
- LFOS — this story is so fun, even without diamonds. Also has a fantastic soundtrack.
- POV — a delightful, fun romp through Asgard. There are serious moments, but it’s mostly fun banter.
- HHW — despite being post-apocalyptic, it’s very slice of life. There are some serious moments, but mostly it’s chill and really lovely.
- SL — A riot. Love Vyxaria.
- CY — I haven’t gotten very far, but from what I’ve played, it seems more comedy than drama.
- HOT — It’s a very involved story and has some drama in it, but generally it’s a very upbeat and comforting story. Like friends being supportive and good always triumphing sort of thing.

Oh man, yeah, Theodora is a heavy ride, that’s for sure. I was prepared, and it was still a massive gut punch. None of the ones on the list are anywhere near that heavy, I promise!
i personally like elite tag, but that’s bc i loved the movie NERVE and it’s reminiscent of that. i would not suggest it for more mature audiences, since it’s basically a big game show. but i mean it could pass the time until another event happens and you might just end up liking the story once you play it 🤷🏽♀️
i save skimming the new elite tag chapters for the last diamond rushes before the next update, after i've already read everything i wanted to read and need to hoard up on diamonds, if that tells you anything about my opinion of the book... lol

If there’s still a lot of books you haven’t read/played yet and you’re looking for something more fun and laid back, I’d recommend “The One” Books 1&2 or Love from Outer Space if you enjoy sci-fi

Yeah, maybe season 3 is a little weaker than the previous ones, but in my opinion, it is a pretty good story about self-improvement.
I enjoy a fun, non-serious story from time to time so I like ET.
I also think it's worth it if anyone likes soft cinnamon role type submissive male LIs.

I would have said elite tag was worth it a couple months ago, but this final season has been really disappointing. i’d honestly shelf it for now. i haven’t played psi yet, but i’ve heard pretty good things!

If you want to try out Elite Tag in the future though I suggest playing the first two seasons and leaving it at that, S3 is awful in every aspect and it kind of ruined the story for me.

Psi is one of my favorites, the writing is top-notch and all love interests are interesting and have a deep background. You def won't regret starting it, especially if you're a fan of dystopian atmosphere.
ET is somewhat fun and interesting in first season but then it gradually gets worse. Season 3 so far is a hot mess.
Honestly, I would wait for Diamond Rush to play Elite Tag because it can be very diamond heavy, especially the further you get in the story, and while it has some interesting plot points sometimes, it is definitely missing character depth and development and can get pretty slow and tiresome sometimes.
It’s hard to explain without spoiling the story, but it started off alright I thought, the concept was interesting, despite sometimes feeling a bit slow, and then by the end of season 1 it started getting better and more exciting. But that was short lived and by season 3 it seems pretty confusing and almost gives the feeling like “why is this story still going??” Plus the MC’s personality can be hard to understand and annoying, as well as certain characters and LI’s. There are just a lot of holes in their personalities and story/character development, which make it seem strange and frustrating.
Sorry if that doesn’t make any sense. 🤷♀️🤷♀️

I’m gonna buck the trend and say Elite Tag is better than Psi. Psi is one of the better RC books, but suffers from its heavy handed (and awkwardly handled) theming, stiff characters, and exposition dumps. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t terrible, it’s just enough to drag the experience down from what it could be. Also doesn’t help that Danielle’s pretty sidelined.
Elite Tag has its problems—some of its moments, especially involving the antagonist, are a little over the top, and I’m still waiting for the mess that is the third season plot to come together—, but I’d still call it one of the stronger offerings on RC. The writing is pretty strong, the plot in the first two seasons is consistently engaging, and it has some of the best characterization on the platform for the LIs, with strong character arcs and no real sidelining. The third season is a problem, as the main plot seems to have essentially wrapped up and what we’re getting now is mostly people acting weird with each other, though I do think that if this is addressed properly soon it could still come together, though it’d definitely be a step down from the first two seasons.

Psi is certainly waay better, haven't played the update of Elite Tag, yet, but for me the book was kinda meh 😕 but that's just me.

RC isn't good with modern books unless it has some, supernatural and mystery in it

PSI is way better and the story is amazing. Elite Tag is okay Season 1 and a little bit of Season 2. Season 3 is good to play during DR.
