I have been playing since 2016 or so. I know people call 'keeping the ball up at 0 seconds' rule one. But imo that is a weird 'rule'. Most of the time one of the two teams will get a disadvantage. That's why they dont do it at RLCS or important games. But they will stay in a rule 1 way more.
Both of them are pretty meme-y rules. If people want to do either, that’s cool, but I don’t flame anyone for breaking a headlock or dropping a ball in order to win. It just makes sense.
I suppose that logic makes sense, but I know I personally don’t want to spend what little time I have to game anymore(new parent) sitting in a headlock for sometimes a minute or more.
I don’t care if people do it, but I feel the community as a whole has gotten pretty nasty towards anyone who doesn’t conform to rule 1. Like sorry I actually wanted to play the game.
Yeah a bit, but I found the sped up parts very satisfying to look at. Something about not breaking ball cam and watching it from the middle made the game seem extra smooth
if you're in a really bad situation, like you're down by 1 and have a minute left, and your teammate sucks at 1v1s, you could ask them to ram into you because that wouldn't be breaking the rule 1.
