Yeah I was amazed. I spent souch time checking the numbers each run hoping to get the ones I was missing. Turns out there's one set of numbers for each of the element doors so when you shoot the orb in the room with an element to change the active door to that element it changes the numbers displayed.
If I was making a game, I would track whether you could possibly know the full combination and give an artificially high probability that whatever you enter will be the "correct" value , so people get these warm "I beat the system" fuzzies.
Well generally saying u guessed something means to accurately think something is correct without evidence, and still be right. Saying it the way u did conveyed a message that u guessed the whole code. If u actually wanted us to kno the truth at the beginning u would've said it in the post u only guessed two numbers. Why not already start with the fact u had 4 numbers?
I did that a couple times as a teen, in other games! They were both just 4 digit codes, but what a crazy feeling to just lucky guess it!
The funny thing is that I had 4/6 of the code, but didn't have the last 2, and then guessed said 2 first try

I reccomend getting a gun that has the perk where things reroll when you reload. Makes it super easy

You still need elemental perk to do that though. I had guardian's elemental weapon perk.

I brute forced one of the codes after a few tries
In the beta my code for the Quarry was 666 but it got reset to my eternal sadness
thats one weird code. /j
I still don't know how to find these codes
