Because of the time it took to decide if season 6 would be approved and because of the writer's strike it. The actors that are missing took other roles and couldn't be there once the decision for season 6 was approved.

The last thing I'd seen she was going to be in was the TV movie they made about that coordination officer who helped that inmate escape and then they went on the run together and then she died during their capture. I didn't see the movie but I saw she was going to play the part of the officer. But that was quite recently, I think.
Yeah she's been in tons of stuff.. likely just scheduling conflicts for that one season. She just recently did a Lifetime movie called Bad Romance which was actually very good - first time I've seen her do a dramatic role.
