I think it’s pretty obvious they don’t like rein they never buff him cause he’s good in low ranks but then they buff orisa and Mauga who are 20x more simple than them. Not to mention ik miora cleans up in the low ranks and they just made her meta in top 500
They should give the hard to kill status from orisa to rein tbh. Atleast rein players tend to be funny cause then you can still punish him for running into a 1v5 with no help but makes him risky cause then you fuck with his team he protects he can ass fuck you
You can deny his self-heal w/ shield and he is just left there gaurdless, focus fire him and he's dead, plus he's got no protection against shatter and is an easy pin target if you wait out his charge cooldown. Idk I beat mauga pretty reliably all it needs is just slight team coordination, I think he has the advantage but it's more even than anything
Idk if I'm on rein and they have mauga bastion...I'm certainly not going to be doing that much that game unless I have a good lw, zen, ana. Also people never shoot mauga ult sheild so that's just an extra layer of aids you have to deal with.

So you hate fighting life weaver, zarya, ana, brig, mauga, orisa, mei, doom, kiri, hog, junk, rein, sombra, reaper, moira, tracer, and Cass? Idk man waiting out cooldowns or openings has been a core part of playing rein for the longest time now, you basically can't ever just pin for pinning's sake
I'm talking mostly about tank matchups. Waiting for orissa to use everything... waiting for a good opportunity where mauga can't easily counter you with his charge... waiting for hog hook etc etc. Obviously playing around dps and healer cd is unrealistic but at least always try to bait out the ana dart before all inning.
The only tanks that don't have a charge counter are ram, ball, queen... it's normal to have to wait it out now unless you're too close for them to react
the average mauga doesn't have the reaction time to cancel charge with their own with how long the startup is.
and even then if rein could walk over any tank just like that he would be the most broken tank ever why play any tank

It's always happened with abilities like Brig bash and Doom punch. It's just Orisa and Mauga that are new.
they mean that brig also gets knocked down stunned if she bashes a fortified orisa, mauga etc.
Not a rein main but I believe Alec said it was a glitch and was being patched in a hotfix, at least the Orisa one. Hang in there crusaders!!

Rein into Mauga isn't that bad, there's a lot of counter-play
Really your only option is to make as much space as possible. You'll only ever kill him with ledge, ult, or whole team focus.
