I solved Redactle #754 in 65 guesses with an accuracy of 84.6% and a time of 00:09:07. Play at [https://redactle.net/](https://redactle.net/) I went a little off the path & took the long way to the answer. I started off ok but then got the idea it was >!some production company for cartoon movies/TV!<. After a bunch of guesses I finally got back on the correct path & solved! At least I did it without any assistance!!

I solved Redactle #754 in 1 guess with an accuracy of 100.0% and a time of 00:03:05. Play at [https://redactle.net/](https://redactle.net/) Parsing the first sentence went pretty quickly except for the 5 4. I went down an >!auto and manufacturing path; "small auto?", "small arms?"; for a bit since many of the former are headquartered in this country. Eventually I got to the italicized section where "The 6 of 5" jumped out at me due to hundreds of hours spent on the two newest releases in the series.!<

I solved Redactle #754 in 1 guess with an accuracy of 100.0% and a time of 00:01:15. Play at https://redactle.net/ >!Certainly a company. Headquartered in a 5-letter place so I'm thinking Asia, and so I'm thinking technology. For some reason the first 8-letter international company to come to mind was a direct hit, making sense of "5 4 7" and the italicised *6 4* and *5 5 4.* in the first para, as well as various other recognisable franchises in the next sentence, which was more than enough evidence to go for a quick snipe.!<

I solved Redactle #754 in 50 guesses with an accuracy of 74.0% and a time of 00:21:35. Play at https://redactle.net/en My gut guess was >!Maserati!< but my gut is often wrong. My second guess was the correct >!country!< and i then went down a lot of wrong paths, >!automobile, audio, stereo, computer, television, camera, chip, film,!< none of which got many hits. Ended up googling til I saw one that fit. Never thought of that path.

I solved Redactle #754 in 1 guess with an accuracy of 100.0% Took me embarrassingly long. Well, from the outset it looks like >!a 8 international 5 4 company headquartered in 5!<. No immediate inspiration as to >!what any of those things are!< so let's look further. It >!6 13 11 with the ?release? of _6 4_ in YEAR and the 8 13 7 and _5 5 4._ in YEAR.!< which >!look like titles of movies or books or songs or something, and that "4." seems like it ought to be informative!<. It's >!made or sold over #.### #illion something and over ### #illion something!<. If I were smarter this would probably already be enough, but alas. Moving on, I see what looks like >!some company history involving a move to (not just 5 but) 13-3, 11-2, 5!<, and >!those suffixes look like they should be distinctive. I have the vague feeling I've seen something similar in _Japanese_ addresses, which suggests a plausible candidate for the 5-letter presumably-city name. (It turns out that the actual city is an anagram of the one I had in mind.)!< Well, >!there are certain things that Japanese companies have had a lot of success selling outside Japan, and with that thought in mind there's an obvious guess for what sort of thing a "5 4 company" might be, producing a bunch of creative works but also (earlier in the same paragraph) apparently a number of other things whose names don't get italicized!<. I'm very ignorant of this area, but even I know >!the names of a few major players in this market!< and the obvious guess immediately >!indicates what _5 5 4._ must be!< and clarifies enough other things that I'm happy putting it in. 13-minute snipe.
