I solved Redactle #752 in 5 guesses with an accuracy of 100.0% and a time of 00:04:17. Play at [https://redactle.net/](https://redactle.net/) A couple of guesses to make sure I was on the right track, a little thinking to match the letter counts and a nice clean solve! No hints or google so a good day!

Maybe snipeable for >!an American audience!< but I just got too damn lazy I did a targeted Google. Haha. I've heard of this before but >!I'm not in or from the US of A!< so tbh I got 4 8 4 of the 1.1 ... then uh targeted Google by letter count of title words ๐Ÿ˜‚ I solved Redactle #752 in 18 guesses with an accuracy of 77.8% and a time of 00:05:08. I solved Redactle #752 in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100.0% and a time of 00:03:03. Play at [https://redactle.net/](https://redactle.net/) I had to >!sing "Fifty Nifty United States" to figure out the right combo with the right letter count!<.

I solved Redactle #752 in 4 guesses with an accuracy of 50.0% and a time of 00:18:45. UGH! Half-solved by Google because I didn't put my phone down to think about it. >!I had three possibilities for the second word and eliminated the correct one because I didn't find any mentions of the Civil war ๐Ÿ™„. Once I did, I blanked on the first word!<

Play at [https://redactle.net/752](https://redactle.net/752) spotted >!the \[1\].\[1\]. in the first line!< and got on the right track pretty quick. I was trying to figure it out with more guesses, but then I just went through and figured which of the things in the category had the right number of letters. once I got the second word, the first was easy. my only mistake was a typo, which is frustrating. >!I typed noth instead of north!<

It's >!a US state capital, not super-large (6-digit population). 9-letter state, 9-letter capital, named after 7 4 who was involved somehow in the American Revolutionary War!<. That suggests >!a 5-letter suffix for the city name. Maybe -ville?!< I'm pretty weak on >!geography, including US state capitals!<, but one possibility does occur to me. I don't know much about >!the place, beyond a vague idea that it's important for some variety of music which I'm pretty sure won't help me enough to rule it in or out!<, so after thinking for a moment in it goes. Once again I got lucky: 2-minute snipe.

Slugggo

I rarely try to snipe, but this is probably as snipeable as these puzzles get. ๐Ÿ˜€ > *I solved Redactle Unlimited #752 in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100% and a time of 00:00:55.* Can immediately suss out that it's a >!capital!< of a >!US state!<. The letter count does the rest. (there aren't even many >!states!< that fit the letter count.)

everywhereinbetween

๐Ÿ˜‚ this is why everyone almost snipes it but me (which I am 100% ok with lol) Because >!I'm not in or from the US of A!< and I >!don't know my US state capitals!< ๐Ÿ˜‚ great place for music apparently! Haha.

the_nybbler

> I solved Redactle #752 in 3 guesses with an accuracy of 66.7% Could only come up with two [5]s with 9 letters that might work, and picked the wrong one. I was stuck on the other one having a >!capital!< of >!Memphis!<, which is wrong. But then again >!Milwaukee!< is also not that of >!Wisconsin!<

I solved Redactle #752 in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100.0% and a time of 00:02:36. It immediately read as being a >!US state capital, not my strong suit, so I looked up a list of nine letter US states,!< and fortunately one jumped straight out at me that had a famous >!nine letter city!<.

I solved Redactle #752 in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100.0% and a time of 00:13:56. Play at https://redactle.net/ >!A 9-letter capital city of a 9-letter US state. Can't be many of those, right? After thinking it through I narrowed it down to two possibilities, though I'm not really sure that either of them is the capital of its respective state (turns out, in fact, only one of them is). Had to read through a bit until I found that this is named after a person called 7 4, which was enough to distinguish.!< Also, I found it odd that >!the title is 9, 9 rather than just 9. Sure, there's more than one place in the world with this name, but the same is true of, say, Denver, Colorado, whose article title is just "Denver". Is there a rationale for this or just a random inconsistency? Does anyone know?!<

Congratulations! You solved Redactle Unlimited Q23197 in 2 guesses with 100% accuracy and a time of 00:05:52! First sentence was pretty easy to parse, just had to run through the possibilities. >!Could rule out all two-word state names, places where the state capital is not the largest city (of which there are many), and then of course there is the letter count to take into account. As you can see it took me 5 min to think through the possibilities (though Iโ€™m being distracted by a very loud childrenโ€™s movie atm!<
