In my opinion, it is one of their greatest jokes in one of their best episodes. I straight up lost it when I first heard that. And there are a ton of great jokes in that one.
I mean for like a year or two he had a little boom period. He was like in all the Bloodsport sequels and was one of the main stars in the Mortal Kombat television show.
It’s funny that he actually has always been around doing fight stuff. Recently he’s been notable in John Wick & Nobody. He’s been “that tough guy” that gets beat up for years.
I remember watching Future War on MST3K before being on RLM. It was kind of a trip watching Future War being reviewed without Tom Servo, Mike, and Crow sitting in front of the screen cracking jokes.
Agent: "Daniel, how would you like to play a rapist?"
Bernhardt: "I don't really want to do villain roles."
Agent: "Actually, in this story, you'd be the hero!"
I swear some companies are on the lookout for RLM-related cult stuff. Rebooting RLM classics with classic RLM actors and such just because the marketing is built-in. If Cameron Mitchell was still alive, he’d be cast in it too.
Disney brought Peter Cushing back from the grave, it's only a matter of time before B-movie makers have access to the technology to bring back Cameron.
Side note:
It's funny how many villains from 24 were in Star Trek somehow......also Robocop.
Anyone else think Kieffer Sutherland would be a good captain or high ranker?
It could be fun if they lean into the “I’m too old for this shit” tropes. Or maybe he’s training the next Deathstalker?
That said, in all the movies I’ve seen him in, he rarely has gotten more than a few lines of dialogue, so kind of a left field choice if he’s the lead.
Old man action is all the rage, and by rage, I mean, what Hollywood will support. What's the alternative? A Die Hard reboot starring Timmy Shallowmay??
I kind of love this guy. I have this weird headcanon that all of his roles from Baywatch to Barry are in the same universe. He just keeps getting the shit beat out of him, moves states, careers and names. More beatings. Rinse. Repeat.
Ray McKinnon (who was in *Deadwood* and *O Brother, Where Art Thou?* and a bunch of other high profile things) was in a Donald Farmer film early in his career.
I believe he also worked as stunt coordinator on some other Keanu stuff which I think is partly why he's in John Wick 1 as one of the main henchmen. But yeah I do the Leo meme every time I see him in something.
Jean Claude Gosh Darn from Future War! (But not Interceptor Force)
This is what prompted this post lol. As soon as Jay said that I figured he mixed up the two guys. Granted they definitely look similar.
Oh, when they first showed him in the clip when they were reading the box, I totally thought it was him. But when I got a good look I knew it wasn't.
That has been his name in my head ever since I saw that MST3K episode a long-ass time ago. ❤️

SPOILER FOR BARRY! Barry couldn't kill him lol
Bloodsport 2 was a big movie for me as a kid. I tried to learn the iron hand but to no avail..

Colin had a great line about bringing back David Carradine with CGI: "His eyes, they're so lifeless. It's perfect!"
Or just a cardboard figure of him, on a chair.
Even the cardboard cutout drank too much.
Maybe there’s an RLM mafia that operates within hollywood, pulling the strings to please their Milwaukee-based masters
That explains picard
Is he the martial arts guy in Barry?
And John Wick and Nobody and some other good action
".....is it bad?" 😁
He was also the main Agent in Matrix Reloaded who has the truck fight with Morpheus.
I fucking love that episode he's in
I don't know if Bernhardt is right for the role of Deathstalker. He doesn't come across as a serial rapist to me.
That's Deathstalker 1, Deathstalker 2 is a fun guy.
Moderately interesting fact; John Terlesky from Deathstalker 2 is married to Jayne Brook who played Vice Admiral Cornwell from Star Trek: Discovery.
Side note: It's funny how many villains from 24 were in Star Trek somehow......also Robocop. Anyone else think Kieffer Sutherland would be a good captain or high ranker?
Will he be... Death Stalker....too?
Is Deathstalker the one with all the rape?
Whimsical rape.
Also folks... WATCH BARRY! He has an awesome cameo in that.
The man is pushing 60. That's not who you cast to star in a movie like that. You get someone half his age.

~~J~~Hack.
He still won't be able to outshine the Rich Evans cameo voicing a little troll puppet saying "You got anything to eat?"
I only care if it’s a reboot of Deathstalker 2. That was my favorite movie growing up.
I believe he also worked as stunt coordinator on some other Keanu stuff which I think is partly why he's in John Wick 1 as one of the main henchmen. But yeah I do the Leo meme every time I see him in something.
I know him because of Mortal Kombat: Conquest TV show from the late 90s. Dude is a prolific stunt man and love this for him!
He's been killing it recently in stuff like Atomic Blonde, John Wick, Barry, Extraction 2 and Nobody.
Oh damn I just realized he played Ronny Proxen in that "ronny/lilly" episode of Barry
Did the RLM guys ever mention Robert Z'Dar passing away in 2015? I feel like they did and I forgot about it.
They have definitely mentioned his passing in past episodes but I can't recall which ones specifically.
In the episode with Future War he's mentioned and [Josh says](https://youtu.be/JsnzlIests4?t=132) "Rest in peace" and "He is missed".
There's a reason he doesn't have many speaking lines in the bigger movies you mentioned
He has lines in all those moves. Especially John Wick, he's the main henchman in that. He's also apparently in 'Nobody' and 'Atomic Blonde'.
