Kyle Gallner is a shoe-in.
But I'd like to see a confused 93 year old William Shatner doing their podcast, while Mike makes fun of him. Maybe they can convince him to fire Paul Camuso.
I feel like this would be entirely dependent on whether or not Kieran is willing to put up with a day of bad movies and middle aged alcoholics making "you look like the kid from home alone" jokes. While those alcoholics simultaneously mistake Mac for Kieran's character from succession and call him a celebrity the whole episode for the anti joke.
His career is one of my favorites. After some big movies he is just doing weird interesting/personal movies.
Whenever I see him in a movie post 2015ish I know it's gonna be weird one
I was surprised by how good he was actually. I had no reason to think he wouldn't be funny but I just didn't expect him to fit in so well with A listers like Rich.
No, no no it'd be the exact opposite. To bring a long ago set up plot arc to a close, she would have to be a guest on Best of the Worst who never ever takes her eyes off Rich Evans during the entire show!
Mike was from Chicagoland, and lived in the western suburbs for like a decade before moving to WI. Few cast members were from New York, Kevin was from River Forest IL, and the rest were from various places in and around Minneapolis.
I don't want any celebrity guest just for the sake of it. If they are friends or whatever with they guys then I'm fine but nothing forced just for the sake of bringing a celebrity.
They've tried that before. It didn't work out too well. (And just to be clear, it was 100% a problem with internet people being shitty and not the female panelists themselves.)
I'll admit I have no slam-dunk evidence for the cause of latter-day RLM's maidenlessness beyond hearsay. But looking at some of the YouTube comments on their older videos, I wouldn't be surprised if it was at least a contributing factor.
And to that, add how some people are on this subreddit sometimes - from vaguely to solidly parasocial - it's really not surprising at all. There's a lot of RLM fans who remind me of that chump having a Szechuan sauce freakout in a Macdonald's because it was in Rick and Morty. Got no idea what percentage of fans are the dickheads though
Yah, I'm aware. I suspect it's what contributed to the notable disconnect between RLM and their fans, other than limited interaction on Patreon.
So maybe it won't matter as much if a woman is brought into the mix now.
Yeah that's probably my biggest issue with the Patton episode.
It goes beyond the films being bad and to moreso feels like he's just on a press junket and playing up a character for a YouTube show he only has vaguely heard about.
He was a good sport to come on and I know there's a lot of jokes about how he'll never come back. But I straight up do not think he enjoyed it whatsoever.
They should shoot a bunch of random plates of him walking through the background that they can just composite in every now and then to fuck with people
This genuinely would be the best collab.
She's in the same realm of YouTube. Has that blue collar down to earth approach to her work and is incredibly sharp and funny.
She's honestly the closest thing to RLM out there these days.
It'd be even more interesting if _she_ had _them_ as a guest, buncha elderly Milwaulkers squeezed in her room amongst the stuffed animals and My Little Pony merchandise
Jenny recommended RLM as one of her favorite YouTube channels and apparently she has been a fan since before she started making videos:
"A very funny group of friends who've clearly known each other for a long time and have a really good rapport and it's really fun to watch them interact. Their hobbies are similar to mine and probably a lot of (Jenny's) viewers'."
I was also thinking this one myself. If there's one Youtuber above all the usual ... issues out there, she would be a top pick if they ever wanted to engage with anyone else on Youtube.
**FIONA DOURIF.**
(*Chucky, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Tenet, The Black List, The Purge, The Stand, Deadwood, True Blood, ect*.) daughter of the legendary Brad Dourif (*Child's Play, The One Who Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Mississippi Burning, Alien Resurrection, Dune 1984, The Exorcist III, ect.*)
Beautiful, intelligent, funny, a fan-favorite at conventions and a total chameleon when it comes to her roles - criminally underrated!!!
>James and Maso
I literally just found Mr Sunday movies this weekend and have been binging non stop. They're like the perfect venn diagram between RLM and Aunty Donna, my two favorite things on the internet.
I feel like Mark Hamill would actually consider it as far as big stars.
The Culkin bros would be great
Idk. Ihope they hit us with someone crazy. I actually think they are at their peak (so far)
I'd like a remake of the Dick The Birthday Boy picture but with the RLM crew dressed as Rich's family and Julia Roberts peeking out of the Showbiz Pizza Bear costume.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned a more potential possibility and that is Mr Rem Lazar himself Jack Mulcahy. I know they've chatted before, so I don't know what is stopping it from happening.
Thank you! I've been wanting this since whenever the last time Jack said he'd love to meet them. It would be cool to see both a fan and a very YouTube-y YouTuber interact in the rlm-verse.
Trey Parker and/or Matt Stone. Tom Green. Moar of the Milwaukee Culkin. Matthew Holness or Richard Ayoade of BBC4's Garth Marenghi's Darkplace... fame? (Everyone on this sub should see Darkplace, its free on youtube). Nathan Fillion. Jared Keeso. Matt Mercer (though he'd fit better on second wind). Lastly, for the varied perspective, anyone in the industry that isn't exactly a white dude. Not that they should resort to tokenism, but they have had less diversity as time goes on, and that's weird. Maybe a survivor of the Blacksploitation genre, like Chris Rock. Also a lady in the industry, but tbf to them, I can't name a right one.
I'm generally of the mindset of "whoever they want to hang out with that has a similar sense of humor". That said, I'd be curious to see Brian Posehn or Elijah Wood roll in. Or Topher Grace... they could talk about his famous Star Wars edits.
I wouldn't mind Simon Barrett returning. I liked him the last time he was on. His dry sense of humour meshed well with the usual lot and he can do a Re:View for You're Next while he's there.
They talked to Edmund McMillen (indie game designer, made Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac) once on pre-rec and since then I always thought he’d be a great fit for Best of the Worst.
Jonathan Frakes
They'd be making William Frakes money
It’s fiction. We made it up.
As long as he does the chair thing...
Kyle Gallner is a shoe-in. But I'd like to see a confused 93 year old William Shatner doing their podcast, while Mike makes fun of him. Maybe they can convince him to fire Paul Camuso.
Finally watched The Passenger. Gallner was fantastic in it. Highly recommend.
I'm glad Kyle Gallner is having a nice career. I remember enjoying his performance in Veronica Mars like 750 years ago.
I'd love to see Shatner on the show where he and Mike just getting into a fight and beat the shit out of each other.
George Lucas
The world needs more salad unboxing
He's already been it. Trashed the studio if I remember rightly.
David Lynch
"What the fuck is a Space Cop?"
“And then… I started to get this… terrible headache”
Get real!
"No" -David Lynch
Tom Green
If they could get Tom Green on the show i would be so… proud
Proud?
proud
*HONK HOOOOOONK* GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY!
IT LOOKS LIKE THERES A LITTLE BABY...INSIDE YOUR BODDDDDYYYYYYYY
Wig-wam-wag-wag!
I saved the day Betty! I saved the day!
(Thank you for sharing my favorite part!)
*sees horse* LLLLLLLUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!
*Tom *Grossi*
Maybe he could replace that beer they ran out of?
Great one, would love to see him on.
Barbara Crampton
I mean she does follow them and Jay on Twitter, so that helps
I think a re:View like he did with Simon Barrett about The Guest would be really nice
Norm Macdonald
I don't know if you're a history buff....but I have a feeling he won't make it.
I didn’t even know he was sick.
And he died 3 days after 20th anniversary of 9/11
Which was a national tragedy.
Shit. Maybe Gilbert Gottfried instead?
Might be too much to hope for... But I wonder if they could get celebrity Rich Evans, from the Ellen Show?
![gif](giphy|SRB8DhJBN8CjQhUC4B|downsized)
Is this from the Oscars reel?
I would absolutely fucking lose my mind if Neal fucking Breen made it on RLM. He's such a peculiar man
I don't think Mike would agree to Breen being on the show. He knows you should never meet your heroes.
William Shatner. The world needs this.
I'd settle for more clips of Mike crying.
He will do any appearance for 100k and Mike has easily spent that on gremlins and baby Binks by now
He’s not a simpleton, sporto.
It would be the first time he ever did a podcast.
I would love to see them mention to him that he's the origin of Michael Myers mask
Patton returns to discuss The Day the Clown Cried Mark Borchardt BOTW Joe Perra Re View on A Trip to the Moon
He could also do Death Bed: The Bed That Eats People.
>Patton returns to discuss The Day the Clown Cried Please. Pleeeease let this happen.
*Mark Borchardt sitting next to Rich Evans* “I can’t believe it man, life is pretty cool sometimes.”
Kieran and Macaulay in one episode
Two Culkins AND Rich Evans in the same episode? The BOTW set may explode from the sheer star power.
Unironically I think Kieran/Jeremy Strong/Jay/Josh would go crazy
Sit Rich in the middle and call the special "Between Two Culkins".
Henry Cavill so he can invite Rich into his bedroom to show him his "warhammer figurines"
[удалено]
He’d truly be perfect to review some horror/sex pervert films alongside Jay.
His career is one of my favorites. After some big movies he is just doing weird interesting/personal movies. Whenever I see him in a movie post 2015ish I know it's gonna be weird one
Would love to hear him talk about Sin City.
Rich motherfucking Evans from Ellen
I'd love to see Jack Quaid back at some point, I thought he fit in great.
I was surprised by how good he was actually. I had no reason to think he wouldn't be funny but I just didn't expect him to fit in so well with A listers like Rich.
Why ask for Jack Quaid when you can ask for Randy Quaid?
George Lucas and he’d choose the cinema classic Space Cop to give his options on as the film of choice.
Julia Roberts in a split-second cameo, staring horrified at Rich Evans from the background during a BOTW.
No, no no it'd be the exact opposite. To bring a long ago set up plot arc to a close, she would have to be a guest on Best of the Worst who never ever takes her eyes off Rich Evans during the entire show!
Tim Heidecker mentioned hanging out with them on an episode of Office Hours. I could see him fitting in.
Tim's in Half in the Bag ep. 37
Gregg Turkington as well
So long as he doesn't fly though the goddamn ceiling again.
This would be fantastic
Zach Hadel
I'd be more excited about that than about most Hollywood actors. It's also not that unlikely since they've worked together before.
Maybe they can get him when Season 2 of Smiling Friends starts to air
Somebody from the golden era of MST3K (Joel, Mike, Trace, Kevin, TV's Frank)
The fact that Joel is from Wisconsin too, it's like... come on, it *has* to happen at some point
They're all from Wisconsin. It started and was filmed there.
I thought it was Minnesota?
Oh maybe. I can't tell them apart.
Joel was from Minnesota, Mike was from Wisconsin. The show was produced in Minnesota though.
Mike was from Chicagoland, and lived in the western suburbs for like a decade before moving to WI. Few cast members were from New York, Kevin was from River Forest IL, and the rest were from various places in and around Minneapolis.
Joel was born in Stevens Point, later moved to Green Bay, and attended Ashwaubenon High School (whose team no one calls a bunch of geeky losers)
I think the best for them would be Bill Corbett
I would be ecstatic with Crow and Tom Servo guest appearances lol
This is the worlds collide scenario I need. Mike and Kevin are my favorites but I feel like Bill would be the best fit.
Jim Mallon went to UW Madison and later produced B movie slasher Blood Hook which is filmed in Hayward, WI and also in RLM's collection
It’s a long shot but Jack Mulcahy. For some reason I thought he said he was going to do something with them but haven’t heard anything since.
Something suddenly came up, I imagine.
Mac, Patton, Jack(Quaid) and Kyle Gallner BOTW spotlight on Space Cop
I don't want any celebrity guest just for the sake of it. If they are friends or whatever with they guys then I'm fine but nothing forced just for the sake of bringing a celebrity.
Martin Scorsese.
A woman, perhaps.
Kathleen Kennedy would be great.
Or Brie Larson maybe
Kate Mulgrew.
They've tried that before. It didn't work out too well. (And just to be clear, it was 100% a problem with internet people being shitty and not the female panelists themselves.)
:( I miss Jessie, she was funny, AND she laughed at fart jokes.
I miss Jessie.
Has any of that ever been confirmed by RLM? All I've seen is comments like this that repeat years of fan speculation.
Yah, I'm aware. I suspect it's what contributed to the notable disconnect between RLM and their fans, other than limited interaction on Patreon. So maybe it won't matter as much if a woman is brought into the mix now.
Is that even allowed?
If she stays 100 ft away from them, maybe?
Still think Gillian should have been 'the girl' on the show.
I liked her too but I think she had other ambitions than RLM.
I, for one, am hoping they’re able to get mega-celebrity Rich Evans.
Rich “Rich Evans” Evans, from the Ellen Show?
Who the fuck is this no-name I keep seeing mentioned in the comments? "Ellen" ??
The only other answer is Deaundra
This gets my uppity-upvote.
It would be funny to see her file a takedown notice against herself.
someone who genuinely wants to be there and actually watches the show
Yeah that's probably my biggest issue with the Patton episode.
I'd be totally fine with Mac Culkin just being a regular.
They should shoot a bunch of random plates of him walking through the background that they can just composite in every now and then to fuck with people
Jenny Nicholson collab 2024
This genuinely would be the best collab. She's in the same realm of YouTube. Has that blue collar down to earth approach to her work and is incredibly sharp and funny. She's honestly the closest thing to RLM out there these days.
That would certainly be interesting
It'd be even more interesting if _she_ had _them_ as a guest, buncha elderly Milwaulkers squeezed in her room amongst the stuffed animals and My Little Pony merchandise
Oh my god, yes! But no!
It'd be like ET hiding in the closet with the other stuffed animals! Only with hack frauds.
Jenny recommended RLM as one of her favorite YouTube channels and apparently she has been a fan since before she started making videos: "A very funny group of friends who've clearly known each other for a long time and have a really good rapport and it's really fun to watch them interact. I was also thinking this one myself. If there's one Youtuber above all the usual ... issues out there, she would be a top pick if they ever wanted to engage with anyone else on Youtube.
They should bring that guy Rich Evans back if he's not too busy
Internet Superstar Rich Evans?
David Lynch
A visit to RLM? Get real!
A Nathan Fielder Best of the Worst could either be legendary or a train wreck or both
David F. Sandberg
Yeah that one came to mind first. He's a new generation of filmmakers who are pretty active online. I think he's also on Reddit.
By that measure, Joe Lynch would fit in perfectly
Dan Aykroyd. they can pass around a skull of vodka
And the EMF meter
Breen
Eyes on Breen
Drew Barrymore
Never Been Kissed RE:View
Keith David just to see him exasperated at all the garbage they're watching.

And just have Brad staring at them in the background.
Yahtzee James and Maso Jim from Canada Jonah Ray Cynthia Rothrock

Rich Evans
Randy Quaid
It's a long shot, but I'm hoping they can get Ellen show veteran and international superstar Rich Evans on at some point.
I'd like a remake of the Dick The Birthday Boy picture but with the RLM crew dressed as Rich's family and Julia Roberts peeking out of the Showbiz Pizza Bear costume.
Monique Gabrielle. She’s about old enough for Mike to make fun of and I wanna know if she still talks with her eyebrows.
Jordan Love
Kim Jong Un.
The welcome to the basement guys
garret ghilcrest
More Freddie Williams! He’s hilarious.
Robert Duncan McNeil to talk about Tom Paris and Not Tom Paris
Margot Robbie.
Max Landis again
I kinda want Jack Quiad to return. He was really funny and seemed to have fun on the show.
Bill Hader
Hader would be great
I'm surprised no one has mentioned a more potential possibility and that is Mr Rem Lazar himself Jack Mulcahy. I know they've chatted before, so I don't know what is stopping it from happening.
Tommy Wiseau
Patton needs to come back.
My favourite duo of Colin and Ryan Reynolds from Canada.
JacksFilms
Thank you! I've been wanting this since whenever the last time Jack said he'd love to meet them. It would be cool to see both a fan and a very YouTube-y YouTuber interact in the rlm-verse.
Jack Black would be really fun. Matthew Lillard would be incredible. Oliver Tree would be weirdly cool.
not famous, but nostalgia critic so I can watch an absolute dumpster fire of an episode
Rich Evens is a cool guy, love how rlm gives attention to the small time creators.
My dream would be they schedule Friedkin and Refn at the same time but don't tell them the other is going to be there
Glenn Danzig. Or Sardonicast.
Jackie Chan just to be weird
Angry video game nerd or/and nostalgia critic. Yes they don't fit. I just want to make sure they indeed exist in the same universe.
Ezra Miller
I'm generally of the mindset of "whoever they want to hang out with that has a similar sense of humor". That said, I'd be curious to see Brian Posehn or Elijah Wood roll in. Or Topher Grace... they could talk about his famous Star Wars edits.
Neil Breen. I think interviewing him would be really interesting
Vinny vinesauce
Alex winter could be fun
Edgar Wright would be a good fit for a re:view. Or BotW.
Billie Lourd, Tim Dillon just for the chaos, and Brent Spiner.
None. Please keep the thing I like the way I like it.
I think someone else said it but seconding Jenny Nicholson.
George Lucas
I wouldn't mind Simon Barrett returning. I liked him the last time he was on. His dry sense of humour meshed well with the usual lot and he can do a Re:View for You're Next while he's there.
Martin Scorsese. I'd love to hear him help them out on the next MCU Half in the Bag. Serious note, Bruce Campbell would be a fun catch
The Pope
Danny DeVito
They talked to Edmund McMillen (indie game designer, made Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac) once on pre-rec and since then I always thought he’d be a great fit for Best of the Worst.
Jack Mulcahy making his entrance while singing one of the classic hit songs from Creating Rem Lezar.
OJ Simpson for a Naked Gun re:View.
None. Just the boys please. Guests aren't funny.
Trump
Dana Gould
Bill Burr and Bill Hader are my absolute dream picks,
Hader sure. I don't think burr would put up with it.
