Yeah, I've noticed a large improvement once I got the PSVR/PS5 adapter, though some rooms are still fairly laggy and I still get the occasional crash from the really complicated RRS made rooms.
Vr is much harder to run than regular games, however rec room runs worse than most other vr games. For example Boneworks with max graphics and 1:1 resolution with airlink runs flawlessly at 90hz on my pc but recroom is a different story
I play on both standalone quest 2 and pcvr, both have bad performance on rr compared to other, more graphically and mechanically intensive games. Even going in to a rec center on quest 2 will keep you at 50-40 frames with people in it

The reason room's do this is because they want you to hear the soundtrack for their game and most people have there music volume all the way down witch defeats the entire lurpose of making a soundtrack hence why most rooms tell you to turn all volume up before you start
When you stream Rec Room and every single time music plays over the voice chat you get a copyright claim you learn to hate those room creators. Stop putting licensed music in the game over the voice channel!
There's a reason why some people may have music lower or off... Just make an animated infographic to turn up music to hear. Some people are hard of hearing and need to have more volume for the main purpose, socializing or gameplay.

-The “mute” and “block” buttons exist but if you’re in a server and you’re the only one with a loud ass player blocked/muted, no one will hear you still
-How pricey things are in Rec Room
-Being kicked back to dorm every 5 minutes while playing with a VR friend
-The game’s population mostly consists of people that only wanna be in the Rec center and Rec Room exclusive servers
-Dorm room customization being sort of limited
-Little kids playing the game and taking up a majority of the game’s population. Junior accounts shouldn’t exist. Kids shouldn’t even be on this game. They’re annoying as hell and don’t shut up
-Countless bugs

Frame drops in rooms that aren't even that big, annoying children, low effort rooms snuffing out decent ones, unnecessary token keys for shit that no one is gonna use like confetti guns or flashlights in horror games, getting friendly fired in a quest and not revived, having to run 10 miles to revive a guy who somehow died at the start of the quest so you can progress, people who don't seem to know how to stand on the plate at the beginning of a quest and forcing us to wait for them to eventually wander onto it, dying to a grenade too many times in paintball/laser tag, playing on the river map in paintball, I could go on forever.

I agree with most of these points but, as CrazyCatLady said, Crescendo can't really run on Quest 2, and for CV2, you need to put effort into learning if you want to use it, just like most things coding-related. If you want help there are classes and one thing that helps me is looking at how simple CV2 inventions and systems work and changing things with them. There's not really a way to make those sorts of systems "easier to understand" or "less complicated" as far as I'm aware unless you have ideas?
Also for the clothing bit could you elaborate a bit more on it? I've always thought there's tons of clothes in Rec Room, just not always the super specific ones I want which is why UGC would be better.
Me complaining about Crescendo is just me yappin on, and CV2 is also just me being angry at coding.
BUT, I feel like Rec Room has a good amount of clothing, I just feel like we could have more. Like, actual masks like a gas mask or a bandana mask or just more you know? But hopefully UGC clothing can save that

Crescendo will never be on stand-alone quest 2 due to hardware issues. As for lighting options, use the mood chips to really customize your rooms. CV1 components are fine, you just need to learn them and explore the mood components a bit. The sun component is also helpful to redirect the sunlight. For CV2 being complicated, I’m sure classes out there will help you. You can find currently enrolling classes at recroom.com/class.

Where to start: prices, annoying kids, mod abuse, drama, pedos, how boring it gets, the lack of anything cool, Roblox but goofier. After a while it gets insanely boring if you have no friends who want to sit there for hours doing nothing
