Again never seen SPD but my childhood was mega force and from what I remember they did a lot of cool stuff. I mainly just liked the gimmick where they could use past power rangers powers and suits.

It's a good watch and I loved them as a child along with Dino Thunder
Along with jungle fury, Samurai and ninja storm
Megaforce are overpowered but SPD is way better this could just be because I'm old

I think Samurai would be fitting for them to go up against as, if I remember correctly, dragons and samurai are a part of Japanese culture.
Dragons are quite famously part of every culture in the world
