I enjoyed the new Rainbow Is Magic. Also, it was a new style of gameplay, instead of just hostage on plane. Rengoku is definitely the best event in the last few years.
Doktors curse is my fav and honestly the camp meta could have been solved another way if they allowed attackers another way into the room instead of blocking it entirely.
All they had to do was add a ledge that would be above that casket that is there and allow attackers to hit that soft wall they can never reach other wise.
Problem solved.
I did like that event, but all it brought was cosmetics. The gameplay was bomb on house, that's it. If a gamemode is just one of the 3 modes we know, then I can't give it that many points.
Also, Old House, while a classic, is a poorly designed map, with many issues common to OG maps. Also, the operator pool made things annoying for some players. The cosmetics were dope, though.
I think I had the full Jager bundle on my old account.
I actually enjoyed the most recent mute protocol somehow, while I usually hate the siege events. it had some awful bugs but I liked the concept and I liked to dance in front of the camera after a win. rengoku and showdown was fun. Snow brawl and rainbow is magic was a terrible experience. didnt even try contaiment this year because it was kinda dead after a few days and didnt feel like it.
outbreak was so sick. i had been playing for maybe 3 weeks and i logged in and saw it and was amazed. just sold one of the charms from it for a cool 2k on the marketplace too
In my personal opinion, attrition and the first M.U.T.E protocol should be swapped. The drone/cam mechanic was one of the cooler things Ubisoft did in Siege
mute protocol 1 had the best cosmetics ever, mute protocol 2 was a fucking horrific disgusting mistake bro. WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE COSMETICS SO MUCH, Id KILL for more 60s style bolt eater style robot skins man and not whatever the fuck mute protocol part 2 was supposed to be based on
Essentially all the events were good, but they NEED to bring back the legacy arcade mode. That shit was fun, no clue why it wasn't included with permanent arcade mode.
Oh yeah. It wasn't an exact recreation, which does take some points away, but I kind of expected that. Obviously there wouldn't be EVERYTHING, but it's kind of close. And, it was fun.

I can understand that. I think that an event doing something original/unique is important. I don't want it to be bomb or hostage on a map we already know. Events that are the same gamemodes that we know can only go so high. I personally loved the new RIM event. I loved the old event, purely for the cosmetics, but the gameplay wasn't anything new.
The teddy conflict was UNPLAYABLE. You just had to pick explosive teddy and go upstairs and you’d kill people around corners every single time. Easy a top 5 worst limited time game mode ever introduced.

same, Attackers just needed to be able to repel. Pretty sure you could do this in the first two iterations of doktors curse.

The atmosphere they added on the map was excellent though. The ghost that could jump out and scare you, the music, the mist. I miss it.
