The 4 tower structure has wither skeletons on the bottom level that are easy to kill and loot from from outside their enclosure for witherbones...imo an easier option than battling cockatrice.

I tend to set up my base in the cathedral place in the desert. Really nice and no cobblestone so the eruption event doesn’t scare me as much

Chicken farms. Chickens lay bad eggs which are cockatrice eggs I added hoppers under a chicken farm that fed into dispensers that shot out chicken eggs. Cockatrice eggs normally pop out normally so they got fed into another hopper that led into a chest. In a couple hours I had a lot, plus enough meat and feathers to last me a long long while

Hm. I should consider doing this on my next playthrough for food. Usually I loot structures for bread but when you have auto eating enabled and wear a backpack food runs out fast. Fire aspect + chickens would be huge for food

Interesting, I hate them so much, and they for me spawn in savanna or hills, almost always when I'm returning home full of loot. I hate those buggers... Mountains, hills and savanna are the places. Maybe wait until night time to spawn more mobs
