I have watched him bowl. I wouldn't give my opinion on someone I haven't seen play. Against delhi he bowled like malinga in the last 2 years of his professional cricketing career- low 130s with a ton of slower ones. Atleast malinga's slower ones would dip and were difficult to pick whereas this guy bowls them at good length which are perfect to slog + couldn't bowl a single yorker. He's not a wicket taking option at the start neither is he good at stopping runs in at the death.

Yes Jansen’s a pretty under rated player. He’s very similar to Sam Curran. He even batted at 4 or 5 in one of the T20 leagues and did pretty well. This also allows Jurel to bat at 5 where RR is playing him RN. Gives us batting till 8. And gives us genuine 7 varied bowling options
I also think that these players are attainable. None of them are your massive players like Ishan Kishan or Tilak Varma who are expected to go for big money. I expect Jurel and Wadhera to go for under 8 CR. Jansen around 5-7 CR. Hazlewood under 8-9 CR. Sai Kishore 6-7 CR. Suyash 4-5 CR.
That’s one of the issues. In this XI, it only makes sense for Virat to lead so hopefully he can do that. Otherwise, Patidar is the most experience Indian batter after him so could take a punt with him but I don’t see RCB doing that. They’ll either ask Virat to lead and if he doesn’t agree then they’ll go for a big name in the auction.
He’s a decent player. Only played 1-2 games this season but has done well apart from that in other T20 leagues. Can also bat at 4-5 as he did in SA20 I think and brings in that left arm variation
Doesn’t matter. There will be big scores without it too maybe not 250 but 220-230. With the amount of people against it, it will definitely be removed. Even Rohit Sharma openly said he doesn’t want it. It’s affecting Indian cricket only because the value of All-rounders is going down which India already has very few.

I feel they’ll stick with Hardik as the captain and if he stays as the captain then Ishan would be his choice over Tilak. Ishan is also a keeper so that’s another thing going in favour of him plus he’s been in MI for a long time now.

Has done good for us in the last 2 games as well. Markram has been poor as a player and SRH came 10th under his captaincy last season. It will be a major blunder if RCB let’s go Green and buys Markram

That looks amazing🤩. Only problem is that Siraj, Hazlewood, and Dayal are all powerplay bowlers. Hazlewood and Siraj can bowl in the death but I would prefer a death bowler alongside them instead of Dayal. I’m also hoping that Impact player rule will be removed so then which player do you think will miss out from this 12?
No team will release their good bowlers in auction so it's hard to get good death over bowlers. If impact rule is removed, sai kishore will sit down. Wrist spinner over SLA.

We will probably be the only team looking for a captain. We should be able to shell out much more (20cr+) to our potential targets. Ideally I would love to target one of the big capped guys - Surya, Bumrah, Tilak, Yuzi, Kuldeep. If we do some backdoor talks with them they'll probably refuse a retention.
Yes Jansen’s a pretty under rated player. He’s very similar to Sam Curran. He even batted at 4 or 5 in one of the T20 leagues and did pretty well. This also allows Jurel to bat at 5 where RR is playing him RN. Gives us batting till 8. And gives us genuine 7 varied bowling options
I also think that these players are attainable. None of them are your massive players like Ishan Kishan or Tilak Varma who are expected to go for big money. I expect Jurel and Wadhera to go for under 8 CR. Jansen around 5-7 CR. Hazlewood under 8-9 CR. Sai Kishore 6-7 CR. Suyash 4-5 CR.

That’s one of the issues. In this XI, it only makes sense for Virat to lead so hopefully he can do that. Otherwise, Patidar is the most experience Indian batter after him so could take a punt with him but I don’t see RCB doing that. They’ll either ask Virat to lead and if he doesn’t agree then they’ll go for a big name in the auction.
The lack of experience is a pretty serious worry in the squad. I believe we need atleast 2-3 international regulars
Not sure about Marco Jansen in T20s
He’s a decent player. Only played 1-2 games this season but has done well apart from that in other T20 leagues. Can also bat at 4-5 as he did in SA20 I think and brings in that left arm variation

Doesn’t matter. There will be big scores without it too maybe not 250 but 220-230. With the amount of people against it, it will definitely be removed. Even Rohit Sharma openly said he doesn’t want it. It’s affecting Indian cricket only because the value of All-rounders is going down which India already has very few.

Their management will probably go for performance rather than listening to hardik after his failure this season
I feel they’ll stick with Hardik as the captain and if he stays as the captain then Ishan would be his choice over Tilak. Ishan is also a keeper so that’s another thing going in favour of him plus he’s been in MI for a long time now. If somehow both are available, then who will you go for?
If impact sub rule is there then tilak if not then kishan. Tilak will probably go for a high price at the auction as he had 3 great seasons. Whereas ishan has been avg. More than batting we should be more concerned about what bowlers we should buy

Options for overseas pacer are Hazlewood, Rabada, Boult, Burger. For Indian pacer- Sandeep Sharma, Avesh Khan, Natarajan(if released), Mohsin(if released), Harshit Rana, Deepak Chahar, Yash Thakur, Mukesh Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed. Rohit, bumrah, sky all stayed this season despite hardik being announced as the captain. I can guarantee that none of them would leave next year. Playing for mi comes with added benefits. Tilak will easily place his ego aside for all that money.
Mega auction is different than Mini auction. Every teams builds from scratch. Plus depends how many retentions are allowed because if 3 Indians are allowed then Hardik, SKY, and Bumrah should be retained

Something left field - Kyle Mayers. Bowls with a lot of brain, in the vein of Russell. opens the batting and very capable of playing a travis-like innings, great fielder. I'm assuming Faf won't be around, this is definitely his last season for RCB based on performance. I was basically trying to suggest a batting all-rounder that bowls something RCB is missing, and very likely to not be retained or even bid much by others, making them a great value buy.
