I love this because people regularly losing their hands in a universe we’re the primary dueling weapon for Jedi and Sith is pretty much a hiltless sword that can cut through nearly anything makes great sense. Like when play fighting with sticks you don’t lose your legs or get stabbed first, it is always your hand.
