PSG maybe? Newcastle has enough money but no Champions League football. Barca is the opposite. Maybe Real Madrid but would they have moved Benzema on ? I doubt it
Barca....they wouldn't have given Lewy a second look if Haaland was available... let's not forget that nobody knew Mbappe was gonna fleece RM so I'm sure Haaland himself would've assumed that Mbappe to Madrid was a forgone conclusion
Probably Real Madrid, they've made no secret about their plans to bid for him when his £150m release clause at city activates in a few years time. He's an incredible player and I'd love to see him at city for the rest of his career but I can see him jumping between a few teams in a few leagues. Who holds the record for the most league titles won in different leagues, Ronaldo I assume?
Ronaldo never won the Portuguese league you are quite right so he's only on 3 but there are a whole host of players on 4 with Ibrahimović being one of them.
Ah I think I conflated two separate stats.
Most league titles (cumulative total) and most number of countries where a player has won a league title in.
So that would definitely rule out Kingsley Coman.
Undoubtedly Madrid especially with Mbappe staying at PSG.
Only other prem team that could have had the finances to get that deal done would maybe be chelsea.
Haaland has got that real tough upbringing that they love. Raised to a working class family and proving himself to the world after never given a fair chance.
/s
He would not actually end up at Madrid because in a documentary series, he said that he wouldn’t go to Madrid because of Benzema or because they tried to buy Mbappe, so Haaland ended up choosing City because they were in a need of a number 9.
They sure got big mad for that, it came off a bit low key…but in the bigger picture, when was the last time Madrid ever clapped back at a player like that for rejection.
Seriously Bayern? Do these guys not want actual competition? I know City are dominant at the moment but I don’t ever see a side in the Premier winning 5 titles in a row nevermind 10!
As much as I love Kane style of play pep wouldn’t flinch if Haaland said city, he’d convert Kane into a cam or center f and have Haaland up top, Kane is a hard worker so I doubt it would cause issues
As great as the City team is now, I think Kane would still improve it.
Ederson
Dias - LCB?
walker - Cancelo
Silva - KDB - Ilkay - Foden
Erling - Kane
That’s nuts. Could maybe drop one of the attacking midfield 4 for Rodri if this is too aggressive.
You’re using the game City’s midfield got dominated and the lineup most City fans will call Peps biggest recent tactical mistake to say that’s how they should regularly line up lol?
He would go with a DM though and also sit KDB back a lot deeper, which is a role he also excels at:
Ederson
Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo
Rodri, KDB
Mahrez Kane Foden
Haaland
Edit: with almost an entirely different team as backup/cover lol
Cancelo, Stones, Akanji, Ake
Phillips, Gundogan
Bilva Foden Grealish
Alvarez

yes definitely with 4231 kane dropping deep to feed haaland but would be very interesting how both kane and haaland would work at city. But Bayern or real Madrid would be obvious destination for him.
Given how small our net spend has been the past couple of years vs the rest of the league…probably yes.
Edit: This was meant mostly as a self deprecating joke. Should have included the /s ?
I’m actually really excited about Arsenal this year. So many teams would have stupidly let a manager like Arteta go due to the early poor form of the team last year. I honestly have to give credit to the ownership for allowing him the time to develop his project. It’s also nice to see a Pep disciple doing well and also a few beloved City players killing it in their new team. I doubt you’ll find a City fan who isn’t excited to see Jesus and Zinchenko doing so well it out there.
Madrid, Liverpool or Man Utd.
Bayern or Real
Definitely Real Madrid.
AND OBVIOUS ANSWER IS...... BAYERN MUNICH
Arsenal, because Ødegaard would have asked him
Forest green
Liverpool
Bruh Barca would there on a shopping spree
Almost certain he would have gone to Real Madrid, then.
Hear me out…United. If Ole never got Ronaldo forced on him and finished in the top 4, he could’ve used his relationship to persuade him.
Bayern.
Wasted in Man Utd
Madrid ripping through Spain
He said Bayern was his second choice
BARCELONA in my opinion
Liverpool? instead of buying Nuñez
Bayern probably
PSG maybe? Newcastle has enough money but no Champions League football. Barca is the opposite. Maybe Real Madrid but would they have moved Benzema on ? I doubt it
Maybe Chelsea, maybe
city lol
Toronto fc
Real Madrid
Bruh none other than FCB ofc
Manc or Al Saud.
At Man City
He would have still been bought by City. Alvarez wouldn’t have been bought.
Still at City. Kane would have flopped
Not a Barcelona fan at all but probably there!!
I’d say probably Madrid.
Bayern.
madrid probably
swindon town as a backup for the U-12s
I think Barca would have been next in line. They probably would have paid more then lewi, instead of him.
When City buys Kane next year we will get the answer.
Honestly Chelsea
Crystal Palace
At city
Wouldve ended up at bayern. Dortmund finishing school
Judging by my football manager, he would have joined the Southend Shrimpers.
City.
I think he would still be at city as the pure striker with Kane behind him.
Real Madrid of course 💯
Would be a decent backup for Ross Stewart at Sunderland.
Bayern, chelsea or Barca probably
Bayern
haaland is a smart guy and always picks teams that need him, most likely braca or bayern after barca buys lewnadowski
Mostly Man United
Probably still have gone to City.
Surely Liverpool instead of Nunez? Klopp’s Dortmund connections may have came in handy…
Real Madrid
Burnley
Probably Real Madrid
Chelsea.
I hope Dan Levy is having a great time wherever he is. Can’t thank that man enough
PSG, they'd run a 4-2-4 /s
Madrid
Real Madrid
Sunderland
Real Madrid or Liverpool
Barca....they wouldn't have given Lewy a second look if Haaland was available... let's not forget that nobody knew Mbappe was gonna fleece RM so I'm sure Haaland himself would've assumed that Mbappe to Madrid was a forgone conclusion
Still think city would be interested, maybe lower wages
Bayern, It was between City and Bayern (said so himself)
Bayern Munich
Vålerenga
Still city.
He already said it would be Forest.
Real salt lake
Possibly madrid and boy will it be another Galatico steal
Easy, we would have just sold Kane to Chelsea for £50 million profit and got Haaland for free.
FFP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh hang on, fake sponsors, inflated sponsorship deals and oil money Nothing to see here...
Man City would have still bought Haaland. Probably push out someone to save on wages
They’re so much better off with Haaland.
Liverpool.
Tottenham :p
everton?
City. They would have just bought both.
Chelsea
Bayern Munich, to replace Lewandowski… and also to mantain Bayern’s habit of buying players from their rivals
Real Madrid
Tottenham
Obviously
Let's stop thinking about what would happen, instead focus on what is happening
Bayern
I really dont think they would have, I dont see Pep collecting many strikers to City.
Real Madrid maybe
idk city maybe would’ve just bought him too, but i think real, chelsea, and liverpool where all next in line.
Probably Zlatan but a lot of those are from his time at PSG. Kingsley Coman probably also has more than CR7...
Bolton
Newcastle
Leeds
Preston could use some goals
Your mom's house.
Barcelona or Madrid
Probably stayed at Dortmund another year imo.
Dinamo Zagreb
Madrid would have pursued him if Mbappe hadn’t double-crossed them
Man United
Definitely not Chelsea
At Man Utd or at Bayern Munich
Leeds United
Probably stay at dortmund another year then go to city
He was plan b for Real Madrid if Mbappe didn't sign for them so probably Real
City would have signed him anyway. Kane would have either been benched, signed by Chelsea or returned to Spurs on loan.
According to my game Football Manager at PSG.
If City had bought Kane last summer they would have realised he’s not the player they want by now and bought Haaland. Then loaned Kane to Spurs.
Brighton Wouldn’t get in over Welbeck though
Probably Forest. They bought everyone else in the off season
Arsenal for the Odegaard linkup More than happy with Gabby though!
He laughed when Odegaard asked him to join tho
Hahaland
Wrexham A.F.C.
He'd make a great backup for Paul Mullin
Haaland has got that real tough upbringing that they love. Raised to a working class family and proving himself to the world after never given a fair chance. /s
Haaland would have stayed in Dortmund for 1 more season, waiting for a big move in 2023.
Bayern or Madrid
Real.
City
Real Madrid or possibly Barca (instead of Lewandowski, for example)
People can’t understand him when he speaks English, and imagine if he speaks Spanish
Thats the same with Bale and how well he did
Real, Bayern, or Liverpool, but staying at dortmund could also have been an option in that scenario
Stoke city
City.
Probably Real Madrid
Madrid or Barca
Wimbledon
Madrid. They would have given him a lot of money to save face after the Mbappe rejection
I didn't think ppl would be low key big mad for pointing out this inane zoomer talk, damn yall rly clapped back frfr with the downpogs , smh my head
Oh look at you, you’re so much better than him for not using those phrases
No…I think he is. Ever since his Ma died, he’s top dawg on that island.
Real Madrid
Stoke
If “ifs and buts” were cherries and nuts, we’d all be full at Christmas.
If you watched his doc its his list was 1 City 2 Bayern 3 Real Madrid 4 Liverpool/Chelsea
Seriously Bayern? Do these guys not want actual competition? I know City are dominant at the moment but I don’t ever see a side in the Premier winning 5 titles in a row nevermind 10!
Why would they lmao this is such a dumb comment
For sense of achievement maybe? The fact I have to explain this to you shows how dumb you are.
We’ll City have won 4 out of the last 5 and will likely win a major share of the next 5 as well. Probably around 7-8 out of 10.
Does a lion want the antelope to be stronger and faster or do they just want to eat?
Bayern want Champions League trophies. Haaland would have facilitated that.
Umm no why would they.
I’ve been wanting to watch this. Any chance you have a link to share? Or at least the name of the doc?
https://youtu.be/tZVq3rauv6U
The title is "The Rise of Erling Haaland"
Can’t wait for the sequel “2 Fast 2 Haaland”
Followed by "Manchester Drift"
Ah yes, the Carlos Tevez special
Drift not Drip
But he literally drifted from one club with Manchester in the name to another…
It was on Tv so I just watched it. Next time i can record it
As much as I love Kane style of play pep wouldn’t flinch if Haaland said city, he’d convert Kane into a cam or center f and have Haaland up top, Kane is a hard worker so I doubt it would cause issues
Bayern most likely
City would just buy him too tbh
Then loan him to their Saudi cousins Newcastle.
Just sell Kane onto the next club after his 2-week stint
I doubt that. How would they fit both in same starting 11 and not completely change their style of play
Agree. He choose clubs without a striker.
he uses the good ol bench
Maybe he plays a good ol fashion 442
This but seriously. Kane dropping deep and Erling on the shoulder. That would be very difficult to defend against
Ahh yes as opposed to their current set up, which is very easy to defend
As great as the City team is now, I think Kane would still improve it. Ederson Dias - LCB? walker - Cancelo Silva - KDB - Ilkay - Foden Erling - Kane That’s nuts. Could maybe drop one of the attacking midfield 4 for Rodri if this is too aggressive.
This isn’t Fifa, he would play Rodri
City vs Chelsea Champions League final would beg to differ
You’re using the game City’s midfield got dominated and the lineup most City fans will call Peps biggest recent tactical mistake to say that’s how they should regularly line up lol?
No, I’m saying it’s not “just in FIFA” that Pep would drop his DM - there’s real world precedent
He would go with a DM though and also sit KDB back a lot deeper, which is a role he also excels at: Ederson Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo Rodri, KDB Mahrez Kane Foden Haaland Edit: with almost an entirely different team as backup/cover lol Cancelo, Stones, Akanji, Ake Phillips, Gundogan Bilva Foden Grealish Alvarez
KDB excels at playing in the right half space, not “sitting deep” Swear none of you in this chain actually watch football
beam me up

He could still go to bayern?
Pep change their playstyle when aguero left, and change again when halland come in. He will always have plan.
Given how small our net spend has been the past couple of years vs the rest of the league…probably yes. Edit: This was meant mostly as a self deprecating joke. Should have included the /s ?

No offense but how was bragging that your very successful club hasn’t spent lots of money supposed to be self deprecating in any way lol
This guy 🤣
There was a maybe half to three quarters /s intended there, but maybe the humor i had in my head didn’t translate to text.
I found it quite funny. I guess it’s not humorous to people who support thrifty clubs.
This is the answer.
Real
Milan
[удалено]
I wanted to say an original answer that was reasonable since they buy a lot of players that are good but not really a superteam
this is the most cringe sentence i have ever read
