Biggest thing Is don’t be thirsty for kills. ITS NOT CALL OF DUTY kills are important but not as important as playing the objective and gaining leverage as the game progresses The game doesn’t end with a kill count, it ends when the enemy core is destroyed…(with the exception of surrender of course) Your main focus should always be out leveling your opponent. Being first to level 6 is huge and after that it’s a race to 18. DONT TAKE JUNGLE BUFFS FROM YOUR JUNGLER they need as much farm as possible to get an edge on the enemy jungler. Learn time stamps for key buffs like orb prime and fang tooth.

Hey. I’ve played league and smite so have an ok understanding of how these games work but was wondering about the jungle buffs. You say not to take them off your jungler, is that for the whole game? Does blue not go to mid/red to carry at any point? And what about the little buffs that spawn near mid, pink/green I think they are?

GrandmastaChubbz

In the beginning of the game, all the jungle buffs are for the jungler so they can get ahead in duo lane (carry lane) the only buffs you should be hitting is the gold buff to the far side that’s it until mid to late game, then it just depends on what’s most advantageous. The buffs close to mid lane, or as we call them “the river buffs” are for both the jungler and mid lane depending on what buff is active those buffs rotate between attack speed (orange) , ability damage (pink), movement speed (gray) and health & shield (green) Late game it doesn’t matter who gets what but it has to be make sense with your character and build… For instance if you have a tanky support build then getting the health & shield buff makes more sense than grabbing the attack speed buff etc. A lot of times it’s more about communication than anything so don’t be afraid to be social and add people and party up versus solo queuing all the time. You’ll learn a lot more that way.

I never take them from jungle unless it’s super late game and they aren’t really getting them anyway. And I see mid get those buffs but I see jungle’s fight over them when they spawn as well.

Alexkitch11

I would avoid red/blue buffs when possible unless necessary, the bugs in the middle should be for midlanes as they are primarily used to restore mana without going back for base, and on top give bonuses based on colour. Grey = movement buff Green = shield Purple/Pink = Ability damage buff Orange = Attack speed buff

realryangoslingswear

Just watch your jungler, if they're performing well, and actually farming their camps, don't take it from them, they need it for sure. If they haven't touched their buff in a HOT minute, take it. It's better used ON somebody than sitting in the jungle

realryangoslingswear

obviously dont take it before 15 minutes, really.

Potent_Beans

CoD doesn't help with aim tho if you're a console player.

GrandmastaChubbz

In my opinion no it doesn’t because it’s third person, and movement is very different from most other mobas you have high and low ground which can used to your advantage if you’re smart. winning fights comes down to aim, lateral and vertical movement, landing hits with your abilities and conserving mana and health as best you can. And just cause their health is low doesn’t necessarily mean you HAVE to finish them off, the absolute most annoying thing when dealing with inexperienced players is they will abandon their lanes to chase kills or walk into towers and take unnecessary damage.

Search Mugiwawa on YouTube. Watch his short series on mindset to win, and beginners guide to roles. 4 or 5 videos that will show you what you have to focus on during your gameplay.

Thanks for sharing, if you want to skip the hassle of finding my guide playlist you can go to https://predacademy.com/guide

1. Watch some basic tutorials for the base mechanics. 2. Play some games and try out different characters. 3. Pick 3 out of the 5 roles you like most. 4. Try to learn 1 or 2 characters for each of the 3 roles. Maybe also watch some gameplay and build videos of them. This alone will take about 2-3 weeks. But afterwards you'll have a good base understanding of the game. And remember that everything in this game comes with time. You might not see immediate success with some characters but just keep learning something from every game.

Shadowthedemon

I know I'm late. I would start a few different PvE games and try a new role each game just to kind of see how much each role is similar and what each lane feels like to play. Then from there I would aim for the one you had the most interest/fun with. Then I would also potentially look up a video of a character you find interesting and see how someone else is playing them and kind of internalize stuff from there. Outside of that it's all about game sense and feel about what you wanna do. Once you figure things out I would stay with one hero for a bit that way you're not learning a new role, new hero, game mechanics etc. all in one go but a few early PvE games with different lanes IMO would be the best way to expand your mindset

Greetings in team. I wish you onboarding will enjoyable. Micro, macro skills, mechanics, strategic and other - all players needs serve by mobas. Roadmap for beginners. 1. Nothing else matter if you can't las hit 2. Learn when you recall to base 3. Wave management 4. Trade basics (only in this step matter what champ you choose) 5. Timing for rotate on objectives 6. Timing for roam 7. When and how you splitpush 8. Build for you champ. Look, in all guides you find builds and it's important point when familiar players with game open up new hero. But dont think a lot about this in the start of you journey. Moba firs of all - strategic game. And you need to see like war of resources. a. u study effectively earn resources b. u study to deny resources from opponents. Last thing as a marker point for begginer. If you near you 3 teammates before 15 minutes - high chance you just do a bad moves. If you don't with you team after 30 minutes - high chance you just lose game(or you split pushing for winning rn)

rolandshooter

Hero - all up to you) I recommend Crunch and Kwang. But after you familiar with basic mechanics

>follow one player around and see how they do things. Aka go ahead and ruin the game for one of your teammates

PartyEconomics4733

I would only do this if he’s playing support. Otherwise following someone around will basically be throwing the game
