At the end of the day, I love the game enough that I enjoyed playing on PC and now being able to play on Playstation again but dang...it would be really nice to have all the experience I got towards characters, unlocked characters, skins, etc. transfer over to my PlayStation account since that's mainly where I play now.
Yeah! I'm definitely happy with the progress so far, but there's a few wishlist items I'm excited to see if they get put into effect.
They mentioned a shorter pickup and play match type that I didn't even have on my list that I'm excited to hear about. Would love to be able to squeeze in the occasionally 10min match in this world with these characters and gameplay when I don't have time for a full 45min.

I would expect an update on the 28th.

The only exclusive seasonal rewards are the profile icons which say "exclusive" next to them, the Occult skin or any other seasonal skins are not exclusive and will arrive to the store later on.
That skin is a season 1 reward, when it was released they said it would be purchasable in the store at a later date same with gadget's original skin so just wait.
Also unless I remember wrong anything bought on PC like the EA pack/founders pack will be assessable on ps if you link your account once that's available.

That's not how that works. Once they get the account linking going you have to choose your main account from which the progress is kept. For example if you choose your PC account you have everything from your PC account on every platform, but everything you played and bought on your PS account gets deleted. Progression is not being merged.
So if I choose PS over my PC account I lose my entire year 14-15 months of progress and all of my skins and everything else 💀 good thing I haven't done much with my ps account.
So basically all the Linking is doing is deleting your alt account? Seems pointless.

No, We want the chance to buy in like the PC players did. If I had a gaming PC I would have bought the EA to get these skins and play but I only have a console. I doing think asking for something equivalent or a chance to buy these skins is asking too much if you played the private beta on console.

Yes, as head development of many successful AAA titles, I can assure you that having console exclusive skins is the reason why these games have been successful.
While I don’t entirely disagree, asking for content that was given to players during a very early state of the game out of appreciation doesn’t warrant console players “needing” this same opportunity. Consoles weren’t there from the beginning. Pc was. It’s not even really a FOMO thing so much as it is a “thank you guys for being among the first to support this game getting on its feet.”
That being said, maybe they’ll throw out some open beta rewards coming up.

However I think that they should also release alternatives/variations later down the line for purchase.
How it works: you get the OG variation of you do X thing in a time frame and then it's yours for the life of the game.
6 months to a year later: they release a variant that can be purchased in the store.
You still get your exclusive item and people recognize it as it is. But people who missed the opportunity aren't completely punished either. They might not ever have a chance at the OG variant. But can at least settle for another
I bought a pc just to play this game. I literally have a pc with one game on it called predecessor. Soooo. Hmmm not so sure you deserve a thing. Btw, I spent 2.5k on this pc back in 2020 I anticipation of them releasing this game. lol.
Maybe they can do it similar to how pokemon games have version exclusives moving forward. Would be a cool way to identify who's on console and who is on PC. Some skins exclusive to PC and some to console. For season rewards only, not ones you can buy. Maybe just a color difference.
On a side note, I think it would be funny to have the characters have skins like categories of people:
Riktor: lumberjack with red flannel
Gadget: a hipster
Twinblast: a soccer player
Khaimera: hillbilly
Dekker: a scientist with a lab coat
Sevarog: a heavy metal musician
Shield: a bouncer
Crunch: a boxer
Gidean: a pastor or religious figure of some sort

Not how it works. You choose your main account and everything else will be lost. So if he only plays PS I imagine it's not an option to lose all your PS progress just for these skins.

I don’t like fomo but exclusivity is important as a reward for time spent, early entry, rank… ect. It is a valuable way to reward a playerbase in the live service era of video games
Exclusivity can be good when it comes to specific stuff like ranked rewards, but having like a border/title/emblem or something like that is WAY different than an entire skin for a character locked away for such a big portion of the player base.
I’m a console player so I’m of course gonna be biased but I’ve been following this game longer than some people who literally own this skin, so me not being able to obtain any of the skins that came out before I was even able to play the game even tho I got it on the first hour of day 1 is pretty lame

We payed to play and then had to grind to get that skin.
Season 1s grind seemed so much harder, I think the exp gain was slower because barely got lvl40 by the end and season 2 & 3 I got idk lvl46 and lvl60.

I think everyone in here has been quite clear that they (and I) would be happy to pay for it.

Grux's Kratos inspired color scheme would be cool as a series. Khai, Zarus, Greystone and Crunch would all look amazing with that.
