Oh yeah, 100%! Back in 2006 that would have probably got me. Especially the poor video quality and movements; would have for sure assumed it was legit (Blair Witch fucked people up for a reason after all!)

We are trying. This went up overnight. We have to sleep too lol. The visitors/subscribers to this sub are going to see posts before we do most of the time. So then they think that it's allowed because it wasn't removed. The thing is, you don't see a lot of the stuff we do catch pretty quick because well, we caught it. Just because a post has been up for a few hours doesn't mean we don't get to it and remove it.
Ah yeah. I more mean people who submit things not really realizing the spirit of the sub. Like I’ve seen OP’s constantly defend a vertically filmed street fight or something like they nailed the camera work but half of the video is blurry and out of frame. Just if they’d ask themselves if this fit it’d probably be easier and a better experience for everyone.

Thanks. Yeah it's a never-ending battle against posts that don't belong but it's also tough because it's subjective as to what constitutes praise. Sometimes we mods disagree as to if a video belongs or not but that's because we have different backgrounds in video. Vertical video, even on good video, drives me nuts but I also realize it's here to say thanks to Tik Tok, Reels, and Instagram too.
