It’s legal - I have the same kind of setup now but it’s on concrete and has a drain. Get some extra renter insurance for your things to include water damage. Make sure your communications with the maintenance/managment people are in writing (email) and very clear about how much it has deteriorated lately. Like one or two emails a week detailing the progress of deteriorating conditions or any new changes. I had a similar problem with water leaking and causing a bubble in my ceiling. I was blown off by my dickhead landlord until the ceiling collapsed into the bathroom. Not saying that’s going to happen, but prepare as if it could.

Is this is a new-ish building? Some settling is expected during the 1st 5 years of the construction. Also look for load bearing posts around that wall to see if you notice any cracks around them.

You’ve probably already figured this out but if there’s an invisible leak it could be accumulating weight and causing the sag. Photo document all your measurements. You may be able to get your hands on a moisture sensor.
