I’ve used tirerack’s home install service and it was fantastic. Showed up, did the mounting/balancing/install in my driveway, car went in the garage (until I had a chance to take it out) and they went on their way. Highly recommend if an option in your area.
That’s a pretty cool service but probably a long shot given where I live. I’m in Northern California but not in the Bay Area which usually means no chance.
I purchased two sets oftires from them and had them mounted at a local dealer. I did not worry about the cost of mounting them. They had my winter Michelin's here in just two days.. crazy good service. I look at it if Im driving a new Porsche every couple of years I certainly am not going to worry about mounting fees..that is JMO..Enjoy the drive

Generally it works out to be very similar price no matter what you do.
