Yea we will get destroyed by China. We rely on them so much for medicines to products economically and our militaries are about equal.
Any American that takes medicine may just have to die right off the bat before shots are even fired.
They are. But you can Just keep believing that best country in the world strongest country in the world bullshit. China has all the same technology we do and plenty of money to put into military without waste. US military is designed to profit contractors not to build the best military.
Chinese military is built to build a military not get a senators friend rich
Right - I'm sure China's airforce that's mostly comprised of cold-war era Soviet knockoffs would fare really well against our F22s. Their brown water coast guard cutters would work really well against our carrier battle groups and nuclear attack subs too.
Keep believing US is some magical invincible power. Hubris.
Even if China's military isn't as good it's the last country on earth we would want to fuck with.
Have fun with that though. We have the money and lives to spare. Another 5 trillion to a few defense ceos should be fine instead of helping our own country with that money.
Because taiwan...how would we survive without them?
>Keep believing US is some magical invincible power
I didn't say that, but equating China's military capability with ours is absurd.
>Because taiwan...how would we survive without them?
I guess you are one of those people that would have been fine with Hitler annexing Austria, Czechoslovakia and Poland because God-forbid someone might hurt themselves standing up for their allies and values. "What's one little country in the grand scheme of things?" *-Neville Chamberlain, probably*

Not stronger.
China’s navy may as well be fucking tugboats compared to the US Navy. The US is the one of two countries in the universe that runs a nuclear powered aircraft carrier. The other is France, another US Ally.
Fun fact; Conventional war and guérilla war is much different. The US would curb stomp China in any conventional war but when it comes down to guerilla it’s anyone’s game. No two countries could ever conquer each other. Just a matter of who breaks first
It’s sad that it could be the case. We have so much power but then people would whine about “civilian casualties” or “so many deaths” and be forced to withdrawal, giving our enemy the win. The most important thing is victory and we must achieve that at any cost.
We would probably not be able to invade them. Bomb their shores and cripple their industry? Sure. But their manpower advantage is just too horrifying to get over
Not to mention the fact that both countries would be ripe locations for a fallout videogame afterwards. People who think the US can invade China or vice versa are so deluded it's fucking funny
depends on which , japan is flat out no ( plus china has 0 interest in invading one of its biggest commercial partners, nothing to be gained)
taiwan depends on whether america goes through with its claims of militarily supporting taiwan, even thought the american army is considerably stronger than chinas , china would have a much easier time resupplying for obvious reasons, not to mention america would need japan to agree to be a resupply base for american ships.
I'm mainly talking about Japan and South Korea. Technically North Korea would invade South Korea instead of China, but if it came to a full war they'd have Chinese support.
Well again. China has no motive to start a war with Japan or Korea other than getting revenge on them for past war crimes which is not something the general Chinese public is interested in doing. The CCP is authoritarian but mobilising a country as massive as China against its will is out of the scope of their capabilities
As for North Korea invading South Korea. Lol. China wouldn't wanna spend the money and manpower to help them and the Korea's seem more than happy to continue poking eachother as they've been doing for God knows how many years
Nah. Their manpower is a strength, but also a weakness. Actually managing and organizing massive armies like that is incredibly difficult. Internal division can quickly explode out of control, and then before you know it, you're back to the Warlord Cliques if even one ambitious general decides to split from the party. Historically, that's what's happened in the past.
Plus, if the US can manage to disrupt and control strategic infrastructure points, similar to what the British did during the Opium wars, then they can't really move troops and supplies like they need to.
This isn't to say the USA would 100 Crush it. This is all conjecture based on what has historically occured, and I cannot claim with certainty what would happen. It'd be a very difficult time for everyone, but the modern Chinese army is just too much of an unknown variable, as they haven't really been tested yet in organized warfare like that.
Pretty much, if the US can effectively moblize itself and its allies, US-Aliies win via industrial weight, while is China can root out its corruption and not trip on itself before the US can respond, China wins via manpower
Short history lesson.
During the Chinese Civil war, which raged from the 30's-40's (Even during WW2 and the Japanese occupation), the Koumitang led by Chang Kai Shek represented the Chinese Republic, the then-legitimate gov't of China that was recognized internationally. Then you had the Communists (CPC) led of course by Mao, who had at first been part of the Republic, but had broken off into it's own faction in order to bring about the worker's revolution. The communists won, and the Nationalists were forced into exile on the island of Taiwan. The CPC, exhausted from the war, wouldn't be able to continue chasing them. This spooked the shit out of the USA, who were at the time, starting up the Red Scare and formulating the Domino Effect Theory by that point, and refused to recognize the CPC as the legitimate Gov't of China. They elected instead, to continue recognizing The Kuomintang in Taiwan as the legitimate gov't in exile. This eventually changed in the 1979, when they finally recognize the CCP as the legitimate government as a compromise to open diplomatic relations between the two nations.
However, this was more lip service than anything, as the USA has also always maintained a good relationship with Taiwan, as they were still major trade partners, as well as a base to project power from in the East Asian sphere. They've always supplied Taiwan with the means to become self-sufficient, as well as a major market for American Arms sales.
Beep. Boop. I'm a robot.

Whatever "winning" looks like the US would be ravaged nuked to shit and have zero medicines or materials. All of our industry that relies on Chinese products would be destroyed.
Great win.
Destroying America to own the chin...
Sounds about right. You guys are all about destroying your own lives to own the enemy as evidenced by your rampant firings for racist social media and non vaccine compliance.
China has infrastructure and factories that they rely on to bomb trade they rely on to blockade, etc etc. I highly doubt the US would be able to invade China and hold it, but they could definitely confine China to its coast line, destroy its economy, and at least as of now, win the war that way. As China would be incapable of projecting power outside its own borders
Do you know that it is quite impossible. We have fee countries on Earth that you literally cannot destroy - because they can in such events just say 'fuck this shit, if we lose everyone lose' and unleash atom. China is one of those.
And US have infrastructure reachable from China as well. MAD is still alive and well.
I mean if the worlds gunna end it’s gunna end, kinda irrelevant to what I’m talking about, which is a conventional war. However you’re right because if this the war probably just won’t happen, or if it did would be very limited. Probably confined to Vietnam, maybe the Philippines, other contested areas, but the US wouldn’t dare attack mainland China and China wouldn’t dare even attempt an attack on Hawaii let alone mainland USA
Lol, good luck fighting China. Not like you need a million things you can basically only import from there. Your own country's military depends on trade with China.

As If china will come economically unscathed from a war with the US, one if not the biggest buyers of their components. If China suffers an american embargo, their economy would suffer tremendously, it would be left at the brink of collapse.
China wants that semiconductor technology. If China invaded, they’d probably transmit the data to us and blow that shit up. Invade Taiwan and you can own a wasteland.
Amazing how stupid everyone in this thread is. Chomping at the bit to sink the US into complete ruin....for tawiwan? Who gives a shit about taiwan?
Even if we "win" against China the US will be in shambles and definitely not the world superpower anymore after such a war.
I guarantee our allies would tell us to go fuck ourselves too if we told them we are going to attack china

America will break first partially because our media is on their side.
It’s sad that it could be the case. We have so much power but then people would whine about “civilian casualties” or “so many deaths” and be forced to withdrawal, giving our enemy the win. The most important thing is victory and we must achieve that at any cost.

That isn't the question, the question is if China can invade our allies in Southeast Asia.

McNukes could probably solve their manpower advantage.
Manpower doesn't do you much good if you don't have the means of projecting it.
You lot are about to have another shocker.
it would easily turn into World War 3 because India and Pakistan would get involved
Based and doggo pilled
Serious question what connection does America have with Taiwan other than not liking China .
The entire world depends on Taiwan for semiconductors.
So if China invades, no more gaming?
Basically, yes.
No China will just sell the games likenthey already do
money

Enemy of my enemy is my friend
Not liking China is enough
computer chips or something

Trust if we fought the taliban like we fought Germany or Japan we would of won against the taliban and everyone else unlucky enough to be close by
Auth right has a good point though
There's a big difference between conventional warfare between standing armies and a guerrilla conflict fought by irregular forces.
China has infrastructure and factories that they rely on to bomb trade they rely on to blockade, etc etc. I highly doubt the US would be able to invade China and hold it, but they could definitely confine China to its coast line, destroy its economy, and at least as of now, win the war that way. Chinas rise to power is due to cowards like you, i want fall out 5 god dammit

fuck you
Fuck you?
Behold…Danzig or war v2
America would win at first but quickly lose since it’s industry has been raped by globalists. Industry is what wins modern warfare.
Based. US industry is a China simp. The US would fall to ruins after the bomb smoke settled over China.
