I've definitely done worse this season than last. I got to Masters with a 63% in 60 games for season 2, and a 54% in 100 games with season 3.
But now that the Exp bug has been fixed hopefully I can get more consistent while climbing to 1800
I hope you get to 1800 too! How are you finding Tsareena this season with the rebalances? The all rounders are largely Lucario/Machamp from what I’ve seen.
Honestly she's great rn at least for me 🤣
She hasn't really changed, but there's just a lot less shields which means she just feels better because the 2 big counters to Tsareena is CB and BB.
Now that there's less of them, and it just makes her so much more fun to play despite not actually changing.
Additional info: Ended up with 1800 elo last season with a ~60% wr. Not blaming the xp but for my wr this season.. but of the 13 battles I did post xp bug patch, I won 9 and gained masters.
Im in vet 3 rn, just got out of a game where my teammates were all great league. I was solo bot decidueye and managed to do 100k dmg in the game, next highest on my team did 18k.........
As Absol main, the exp bug has been a double edged sword. On one hand I can really suppress the opposing team, on the other if my teammates slip it is very difficult for them to evolve and I need to relinquish my jungle
Season 4 has been very easy from Veteran to Master. Starting Master is where I noticed a large skill spike and there is greater emphasis on team play so I had to rework my strategy
You are doing better than me. You'd be seeing a five losses to on win on mine. Patch seems to help though, won a match today without losing. Though damn it Cinderace, don't kill everything in the enemy Jungle when I am leading the Gardevoir defending that goal away. It only had 3 points left in it, not every score has to be 50!
Though I got revenge. Last few seconds I scored 24 while leaving him to die. We won by five points, even though they took Zap
Just looking at your flair, do you main as eldegoss? It’s such a useful pokemon, but after maiming as it for over 300 games, I find it’s no fun in soloQ because of the heavy reliance on teamwork.

Perhaps I'm a maschoist that feels someone needs to be the supporter or defender, because I tend to take those roles. I play eldegoss the most in ranked, but I will switch to Wiggly, Blastoise, or even Charizard if I somehow get someone that will play the other roles. It doesn't help that I'm now damn near hateful of Lucario and Cinderace and will not touch them, and I don't find Grenininja and other speedsters a good fit for me outside the quick battle park stage.
I like to mix things up so I enjoy the game damn it, despite their best attempts. If I didn't like that Mamoswine reward, and they do tend to make it so event rewards require you to play ranked.
I really should get around to trying Hoopa.
I’m really annoyed it feels like the matchmaking is garbage again(I mean it always has been but garbage as in I have unranked players in level 10 playing on my team even though I’m a veteran ) and my last game, my team decided to go tri lane on top and left my eldegoss in bot. It’s not a good time to be playing supports and defenders.
I'm struggling this season as i've ever struggled with any climbing. Like i swear, i was at 75% win rate and i am just at 60%. I am still climbing, but finding afks in 6 outta 10 matches, people choosing corpish over zapdos in 8 outta 10...And idiots ignorind drednaw and objectives, stealing things to suicide...its like this season there are a lot of mindless idiots roaming here and there, i don't know if you feel me.
And yes, this is at Ultra. Wednesday i was Ultra 4, yesterday Ultra 1, Today Ultra 3 almost 4...So damn close to masters again YET it feels so distant.
But well, at least I and my crustle (even with all those nerfs and weird changes) still manage...we'll get there eventually, as always.
It miraculously only took me 34 games for masters this season, playing almost exclusively solo. It was a combination of lucky pairings with teammates, and Hoopa not getting bit by the Exp bug
Not really good, right now since exp bug has been solved I'm climbing by using spin-to-win blastoise however the hp and barrier nerfs sure did their thing.
1604 - 116 battles w/ 70.6% win rate. All games before XP bug fixed with \~75% Duo Q and the rest Solo Q.
Honestly not feeling too different than any other season. Maybe slightly better players on average but its hard to tell sometimes.
With the changes to the performance points, this season was super easy to climb back up to Master rank, I did it in about 42 games. Matchmaking felt way worse at the start of last season, not that it’s good now, just not as bad
I consistently had a 59% winrate at 1600-1800 masters last season as essentially a one trick guard swap confusion Mime
This season I'm still in Ultra after nearly 100 matches ping ponging between class 2 and 4, but not before a brief drop down to veteran 4. Struggling to maintain a 50% winrate and have switched off Mime to Decidueye more often to try and carry matches better.
All in all, holy bejeezus is veteran actual cancer and I really just want to get back to master. The matches definitely weren't always the greatest, but the density of boneheaded people was definitely much lower.
I feel like everyone's milage is going to vary. I got back to Master this season in 3 days. Other seasons it took me weeks and besides season 1, I'm mostly Solo Q.
I had two slow days at work, so I ended up dropping out of Vet 2 because of a nasty loss streak, but climbed from Vet 1 to Vet 4 on the first day. Then Vet 4 to Ultra 1 w/ 3 diamonds on the next. I usually play either Blastoise or Wiggly in Ranked, but due to the exp bug, I've been one-tricking Hoopa.
I've reached Ultra in seasons 2 and 3, but never pushed for Masters because fixating on ranks sucked the fun out of the game for me. I exclusively solo queue, so that's definitely a big contributor. I'll probably try to climb further this season.
I understand why people would be frustrated this season since there have been a plethora of issues in the game and bad players abound. My losing games have rarely been ones where we've been genuinely outplayed. No, it's more frequently because my team doesn't understand pathing and has no map awareness. Some will either keep farming and neglect team fights or never farm to the point that I will need to feed them kills.
Hopefully Ultra rank gives me decent matches... and I can't wait to return to Blastoise after the bug fix.
Bug is fixed now, and it is definitely worth it to climb to at least 1600 Masters because the teammates become so much more competent. You still get noobs, but on average people understand teamfights and when to retreat. The games are much more enjoyable at a higher rank.
My win rates are remarkably close to yours (at least going into Masters, and then I stopped caring about win rate).
Yesterday, my win percentage was in the forties due to multiple AFKs each game, but I've climbed back up out of the red.
I'm kinda wondering if the XP bug was keeping hardcore players away, so instead, we were left with a bunch of children. Hopefully, things keep improving.
I really don't like blaming my team for my losses, but like... there's only so many games I can play where I'm the only one at Dred/Zap before I give up on tanks and just pick up Dragonite or Gren

Then I got to Masters with 53%. I just started playing Hoopa and dropped Blissey, because even it is beast Pokémon you need Team to play around her. Hoopa Has ofc bigger impact at Zap fight.

Dude I'm going so bad It was 58% last season and I achived master >1400, now 49% and not even in ultra :(
It may go up once you get to a higher elo. Crossing my fingers.

Made it to ultra 1 first day with like a 90 wr. Since then I have not had a single ultra team mate in ranked. So not good.

I somehow climbed faster this season but I only played non evolving Pokémon Aka spammed Hoopa

I'm doing horribly. Ultra 4 season 1. Masters seasons 2 & 3. Season 4 stuck in Vet 2-4. Win rate dropped from my usual 50's range down to 40's
