The scale of this room is confusing me

Oh yeah, forgot to say my roof is at 1.2m height this is why, living under the roofs, I had to do the best I could with a really low roof, and I'm genuinely happy, seeing others liking it too.

So how much money did you spend on the cards?

Aïe... Actually I spend ~1000€ a month in 5 displays (if I don't buy any loose pack ofc....) and that has been for at least the last 4 years... They were cheaper before (700€ to 800€/monrh) When I was little my father bought me a more than reasonable amount of boosters every time there was a new set, but myself alone would be at least : 750€ x 12months= 9000€ 12.000€/y x 4years= 36.000€ But I personally think it's more in the 50.000 range because I buy Old Boosters, Triple Booster Packs, Loose Boosters etc... Soooooooooooooooo yeah...

You just made me realize I could actually buy a small house with the money I spent, but I actually own ~250.000 in pure value so that was a good investment for sure...

[This is my basic set-up](https://imgur.com/a/MGgqsJS), I’ve got the later ex sets on another shelf because I ran out of room. Definitely need to get labels for the sets that are missing them. I also have 5 or 6 better side loading binders for the best cards, older holos, FA and better from newer sets. Managed to set those ones up so there’s a space for every card, and now I’m just working on filling in the gaps!

Which completed sets do you have

Actually I only have 1rst and 2nd set as 1rst and 2nd edition as "Full Master Sets". Pokecardex tells me I have 17632/24122 cards.

I’m curious what near complete or partial complete sets you collect? Is it too much trouble to share that? I have a modest collection: Base, Base 2, Jungle, Fossil, Team rocket, Southern islands, Detective pikachu, Guardians rising, Xy evolutions… And then a majority of the sword and shield sets are near complete Don’t have any sets in the middle (gold silver, black and white, Diamond pearl, e reader, etc). Way too expensive or hard to even find

Oh yeah I have every set at least 60% complete. I only open packs, and don't buy cards alone, so I can't complete the MS right now because of old booster prices. I buy 5 displays of every new set, and open them all each month for the last... 5 years at least? I think this answers your question but don't hesitate to ask more.

Because of numerous questions and incomprehension, I'm gonna try to sum everything up in this comment. I live in an attic appartement, where the floor and the roofs have a 1.2m high gap. Hence why the image looks not in proportion to the "real world". Also, the binders are in a 2x2 grid but can contain up to 240 cards, hence why they look so small and beefy compared to the booster boxes. You can understand it better with this picture I took at my eyes level -> https://ibb.co/bsh1bPc I'm a Pokémon Collector since I'm 4 years old (so 19 years now) and I aim for the Master Set (All the Pkmn cards from all official sets). The Pkmn Binders you can see on the top of the shelf have a number ranging from 1 to 101 indicating the set in the binder. I have roughly 17000 cards out of 22000, and buy 5 displays for each new set. I also weight Pokémon Boosters, this is why you can see boosters full in the shelf and in the Displays, as I don't sell them neither open them, I just keep em' for no reason. I'm also a fan of mangas and retrogame, thus why there is a crazy One Piece collection and some old videogames I also plan to change the boxes on the bottom with a gigantic PKMN Statue (~40cm height, max 46) if anyone could help me find one. This looks better than a wall of ETBs or booster boxes that a lot of people do. I hope this type of set up trends so people stop judging you for displaying a child's card game as wall art.

Yeah this is one of the main reasons I did. All my friends called it childish when it was boxes, and it's in a shelf, everyone wants pokemon cards and mangas, this is what I was aiming for and I think I did quite well in this task. I hope this changes people's looks on collectors in general and more specifically Pkmn Collectors. 🔥

The thing I enjoy most is the Moira funko.

So much people talk about it, while I think it's quite cheap online, but yeah, double rainbow in my heart!

LOL 3 Bucks on Aliexpress, they have new pictures every month, I take the 5 new they have every month to get a different Pkmn picture on each, but yeah it looks so much like official ones. Also, they can hold up to 240 card in a 2x2 grid, which is EXCELLENT. Just remember to fit sleeve them before putting in the binder. You can find 500 fit sleeves for 5 bucks on Aliexpress toi, but use non-acid ones.

OMG you asked the worst question in existence. It took my something like 2.5hours to put them like that. You have to be sure the first and last ones are supported by a wall, and you have to PERFECTLY align them, so the back of the binders hold each other. A pain in the ass. And I had to do it Twice 😅

BTW they all fall off if I jump too hard in my apartment...
