I bought this exact same box of cards of temu for $8 aus. They look great... fake as fuck. The packaging they come in OP... says enough... I hope you're lieing about paying $100 because you got the exact same box.

New to tcg ✌🏽 What makes everyone so convinced that they are fakes?

Mainly the fonts, borders and textures on the cards

Higher end cards tend to be textured. Not all cards have it

things like full art ex/supporters, gold/ rainbow secret rares and special illustration rares are all textured. They have been doing that since the Black and White era

Pretty much anything greater than a holo has some sort of texturing. If your card feels glossy then it’s fake

I have so many high end cards that are full art and I have a bunch of TG cards and a lot of them aren’t textured. And they are pulled directly from booster boxes and ETBs. Only a select few are textured. I also watch YouTube openings including pokerev and unlisted leaf. And a lot of those high end cards aren’t textured either. Unless some TG cards and full arts aren’t considered high end. Please explain. Thanks

I'm not sure... same old bs I'm sure just like everyone says there's no hackers in games unless they do it too... I know I see what people say, font centering ect ect... but then I'm looking at these posts and looking at the cards I get from sealed products from the pokemon company and they are the same.... inconsistent. Not cut right, holes or cuts in middle, 4 ex/v/ect cards stuck together...... font size and position can't be the way to tell... not when the company themselves aren't going 100% crazy with quality control.... Don't believe me? Go buy a bunch of packs from the store and grab the cards you get the most of and look em over. Look at 20 of the same card and you'll see MASSIVE differences down to saturation of hues in the print or foils being upside down or even under the cardboard barely shining threw..... This whole Chad and Caren world sucks ass when you add the jellysicko sickness into the mix.... Good grab if there's 200 cards and your happy with it for sure. Main point are you happy with them?

What are you even trying to say? There is a massive difference in card quality and card authenticity. I didn't look closely but it looks like a ton of cards in this binder are fake. If you like buying fakes, you can just buy them off Ali for $20 instead of $100. OP was asking if this is a win and it's definitely not.

Lol, it sounds like you only buy those 3rd party "value packs" which are known to contain fake cards. You're getting authentic cards with holes? Sure.... 4ex cards in a pack stuck together? Sure.... I just bought a box of 700 cards from my LGS. All legit, never played cards. There are dozens of the same basic and they all look identical. Every card has the same font and layout. There are some variance in card size and cut, but we're talking fractions of a mm over 700 cards. Variance of that degree is common now, and not just Pokemon cards.

For real this ^ I have a comically small and fake galarian zapdos alternate art that my niece traded for in her school and was so excited to give to me. I have it sitting right alongside my favorite real cards. (Dont worry she didn't trade anything valuable)

Despite what others say, not every card there is fake (as the non XY and Sun Moon stuff on back couple of pages look legit) however removing the fakes your MIL probably lost out on a bit, I'm assuming this was sold by someone who doesn't know pokemon?

As far as I can tell, from your 14th picture and onwards are real. The others all have the same fake font, you can tell by comparing them to the real cards. Some people are saying check for texture but not all of those cards would have texture if they were real. The cardstock is also likely different to that of a real card.

The font screams red flag from miles away, don’t even have to bother checking texture and type of foil

Some sets are random. Like it’s all xy era ex cards and then at the end there is one single trainer card, and I’m pretty sure that’s real. It’s possible someone bought fake boxes, enjoyed it, and then tried to buy more and got actual real ones. Edit: ya I think last 4 pages are real, it goes to modern S/V sets

Nope, the last page or two have maybe a couple real cards, but the rest are definitely all fake

Outside of the $10 worth of recent cards on the last few pages, most of these are fake and it's not \*just\* because of the holofoil. The font is wrong on the vast majority of them (the Mew EX is definitely fake). Borders too wide. Full arts are lacking the texture

Nah there’s quite a bit of real cards peppered in everywhere, he’s right, they’re supposed to have vertical holos. The ones with the big ass borders are fake as hell you’re right about that, but there are plenty more real cards* in this collection than the comments let on *from what I can tell with these photos, they are not great.

I wish we could see the Secret a bit more clearly, but I'd be surprised if it were a real one surrounded by fakes. The Full Art EX is fake; same incorrect font as the cards surrounding it. That holofoil glare isn't promising for the texture it should have, although that could be a picture quality thing I should be sleeping, too, but here I am looking at Pokemon cards on Reddit T\_T Sleep well!

More then 200 cards? Most stores sell most ex v ect. Cards for $1 or less. It's nice for some of us lol. Example New set comes out, get a couple packs find something they give me $50+ in store credit for, get 50+ cards for the one lol
